But won't this mean that by sharing access to their unique serial keys, someone else could misuse this? And what exactly happened to your device?

Thank you for asking, my story is following.
1. I used twrp to flash rom from MIUI INDIA 10.3.10 to 10.3.12.
2. After flashing the Network Signal, IMEI, Basedband are all gone.
3. I tried to use twrp to restore EFS but nothing changed.
4. I used QPST Software Download tool to restore .xqcn to through DIAG mode (tried 03 .xqcn files from other RMN 7 Pro), but the phone booted in twrp instead of the system. I must restore EFS to go into system again.
Could you please help me to fix the issue?

Do you have the Chinese Variant of the device? If so I don't recommend the Indian MIUI.
Now use TWRP ( I recommend Peter's)and wipe all the partitions on your device. Now once that's done use the MiFlash tool and flash the FASTBOOT ROM , make sure to disable the lock all.bat setting in the bottom left corner.. or you could also alternatively download the Recovery ROM and flash it. This should restore everything.

I've planned to change it to the Indian.
Didn't read those related problems.
Despite that, your given steps should fix it, right?

Extracted them from the B383 update.
But im wondering why there are 2 Recovery files, both are the same size but they give back different md5hash sum, that mean that there is something different about them.

I got an issue with an P9 [EVA l_09] after upgrading from latest Marshmallow C432 single SIM to Nougat via SD Card update.app and restart. I did similar updates on 5-10 different devices w/o an issue.
Fist part went fine, but with the second [HW_init] it went into this:
http://www.derjackistweg.de/img_20170601_142722_resized_20170601_022749113
I was not able to flash ANY different update.app after that via SD card [weather Marshmallow 1rst or later version]
The device is stock - NO change in Bootloader
I do not have any recovery from before or whatever.
I do want to use this device in whatever Firmware!
PS: I cannot post by myself. Though my account is 11 (!) years old - I am not experienced enough Back in the day I had more posts of course, XDA made changes over the years.

It's not for FRD-L04. It's extracted from FRD-L09. However recoveries are highly compatible between different versions, regions and models of the same device (provided they have same SoC which is true in this case).

I just rooted my L09 and installed TWRP and it works fine, i made a copy of my oeminfo and cust and sent it to somboons. He will implement it in his tool SrkTool Huawei so we can use his tool to flash TWRP and root, and if it is possible to crossflash China version to EU version.

That noverity.zip disables a mechanism in the boot partition that verify the boot itself and the system partition, when you install twrp a little bit of the boot partition is altered and so the boot is blocked.
Install the zip using twrp. You can take a look at this (https://www.getdroidtips.com/twrp-recovery-ulefone-s8-pro/), but if I remember well, that s8 pro toolkit app is the one that asks you to install the zip

Hello,
is this the international rom version?
I tried to download it. To do so i have to install BaiduNetdisk. but after installing it, i still cant download it. It seems that i have to create an account or so...could you please upload it to a source, that offers at least an englisch version of its site?
update: found a workaround. I am using jdownloader. Start jdownloader, copy the url of the directory at baidu from browser. jdownloader asks for provided password "dnjq". Files are then added to jdownloader automatically. Start download and enter the capchas.

I guess 128G and 64G's BOOT.img are different.

My advise: You should read and inform yourself before flashing some kernels or anything. Seems like you haven't a clue about what you are doing.
Please do not get this wrong.
To answer your question, what rom did you have before? Is TWRP available?
OTA.zips can be downloaded here: https://forum.xda-developers.com/oneplus-7/how-to/oneplus-7-repo-oxygen-os-builds-t3937152
You need to flash them in TWRP. That's the easiest way if you run into issues with kernel.

Lost is lost. You can't recover it. Next time don't forget to back-up first before playing around with the phone.

MSMTool is the last solution for OnePlus devices. I always prefer to fix it without that. And yes it will format the whole phone. There is no chance to recover your data.

Now you learned a valuable lesson about backing up everything all the time. For videos and photos Google Photos is a good option, for data in general i use Syncthing.
