My advise: You should read and inform yourself before flashing some kernels or anything. Seems like you haven't a clue about what you are doing.
Please do not get this wrong.
To answer your question, what rom did you have before? Is TWRP available?
OTA.zips can be downloaded here: https://forum.xda-developers.com/oneplus-7/how-to/oneplus-7-repo-oxygen-os-builds-t3937152
You need to flash them in TWRP. That's the easiest way if you run into issues with kernel.

MSMTool is the last solution for OnePlus devices. I always prefer to fix it without that. And yes it will format the whole phone. There is no chance to recover your data.

Hi, I was using TWRP to flash a new rom... I wiped but it took ages and appeared to have hanged. I powered down, then back up.
It loaded to Android... then froze.
Now I cant even boot to TWRP.
I can use WUGS toolkit to boot to twrp but I cant mount anything as it asks for a password to decrypt! I didnt have encryption enabled on my phone.
How can I fix this... I cant boot to Android to change USB debugging, only fastboot commands,
I think the fix is to format data. But try formatting just the cache first if you don't want to lose data.

If you can get into fastboot there's recovery. The next step is to flash the factory image. You will lose all your data. In the factory image there is a flash-all batch file. Just plug your phone into the usb and run that. It should take about 5 Minutes to run it

Well bugger it! Thanks for the help guys. So, I'll try a relock and RMA. If the relock fails is it possible I can pay LG to fix it or is it just better to buy a new Nexus? Otherwise I imagine I'll be months without a phone.
Did I break the emmc or is it just a dodgy chip? Or maybe I didn't use the latest TWRP?
I had the brilliant idea to format everything via TWRP...
TWRP is still there and I can transfer files on my phone but other than that I can do nothing else, I tried to flash 3 different roms, but none is flashing, always giving an 'error executing binary in zip /sd card' or something.
What can I do? Also tried sideloading with ADB but my computer is a ***** and never recognizes adb devices, in CMD at least.

I could recommend you to flash a cm recovery img through twrp to install a cm rom as I read in some threads (not for this device) that cm recovery helped install cm rom when twrp wouldn't, but then again if that fails you would lose twrp and end up with a crappy recovery, that's risky

Hey buddy,
Look through these forums for a thread about TWRP flashable stock images for the X Play by dev>null. That thread SAVED me when I first got my X Play and was stuck in a bootloop.
You can push that file to your phone and then flash it with TWRP. Then you will have a stock 6.0 or 6.0.1 image with root on your phone. You can then go about reinstalling your apps and Xposed modules.
I hope this helps. Good luck, dude.

I didn't make one... only in titanium backup did I make a backup, for the rest I just didn't care.
The problem is that permission is denied when I try to flash via CMD/fastboot.
I got the stock EU rom, but it won't flash because permission is denied, also in TWRP it just says Failed

Hi there,
I did a mistake today(super n00b)!
I have a ONEPLUS6 unlocked bootloader and rooted and i wiped all the data through twrp.
The phone doens't boot now, i didn't flash any ROM, so it doens't startup....
How can i solve this? I have access to twrp but i don't have rom file in the phone to install it...
Is there some kind of software that allows me to flash through the laptop?
Please help and thanks in advance
If you have access to TWRP, reboot into bootloader and follow this process:

Hi there,
I did a mistake today(super n00b)!

If ADB sideload isn't working try the rom for the bootloader

I like that option as my last resort because I use it to flash both a and b with stock 5.1.9
Hi guys,
Phone is stuck on the configuration panel "just a second", right after i chose my language and country... It doens´t go any further!
I did flash stock fastboot room By mauronofrio.
Any suggestions?

It takes a while for me too but it goes, have you flashed all partitions and then reboot without do anything else? And for "anything else" i mean no wipe or erase data
