Samsung Galaxy S7 (SM-G930F) bricked and odin fails to flash. - Samsung Galaxy S7 Questions and Answers

So I recently bricked my s7 by accidentaly wiping the os in twrp (wich apparently deletes twrp as well since i cant start it). But that should't have been that much of a problem and i tried flashing with odin (v3.09;v3.12.7;v3.13.1) with the newest firmware on samobile (tried android 8.0 and 7.0) but all seems in vain as odin just says sboot.bin FAIL! complete(write) operation failed.
I have also tried with and without re-partition checked since that seems to solve a problem with older odin versions i tried (stuck on set partition).
I would really appreciate any help what so ever.
Big thanks in advance.

It's failing on the boot loader file, post the firmware your trying to flash.

In download mode what does it list your device as?

Im in Germany and I tried the newest firmware for the sm-g930f, both 8.0 and 7.0 from T-mobile.

THIS Is the latest firmware for your device, Germany unbranded, you don't need to use T Mobile.
The firmware you are trying to flash is older than the firmware which was already on your device, you cannot downgrade a boot loader ever.
Flash DBT as i've linked above

Thank you very much it worked out just fine ^^

i have the same problem, what software should i install, thanks in advance

[Completed] Samsung Galaxy S3 SGH-I747 soft brick

I got an over the air update from AT&T which I guess didn't go well because the settings app kept crashing. I had never done anything technical with the phone so I called them and they recommended doing a factory reset. I tried this and it didn't solve the problem and I was out of warranty so I decided to try and fix it myself. I have tried a few different methods of trying to get the phone to work with different md5 files but nothing has worked so far. I can get to download mode and recovery mode but nothing else. I tried putting version on called root66_ATT_I747UCDLK3.7z and got this error message (see below). This one seemed to get the furthest but I'm at a loss now. I believe I have already rooted the phone but at this point I don't care I just wanted to have a working phone.

The "M" devices from Latin America have a different modem than any other devices. They support the 700MHz LTE band which is only supported on carrier devices sold in the U.S. Your stuck with what Samsung gives you for your region sadly.

Trouble flashing the T-Mobile Firmware on my MetroPCS S7

So, I know there are ways to flash different firmware on to each Galaxy S7, Metro and T-Mobile are pretty much the most similar of each version. What I'm trying to do is make it so my G S7 is stock T-Mobile so that I can update it to the Nougat Beta. I'm sort of impatient lol. Here's the errors I'm getting:
This one is in Odin and I'm using the modified version that I used originally to root my S7 which BTW is back to stock unrooted.

My phone shows this in RED:
SW REV CHECK FAIL : [aboot]Fused 4 > Binary 1
[1]eMMC write fail: aboot
I'm not sure what the problem is, I have my drivers installed, I have debugging checked and I'm using an HTC usb cord only because they are better with data transfers than the stock Samsung cord in my experience. I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong.
Help? :fingers-crossed:

Lost my baseband and IMEI on my j710fn

Hey!
I decided to install the Resurrection Remix rom on my Samsung J7 2016 (SM-J710FN). But after i flashed it I noticed my IMEI and baseband had disappeared. My phone doesn't recognize my SIM card and my cellular data no longer works. I didn't have a efs backup too. I might have wiped the system partition in my twrp recovery.
If you could help me I would really appreciate it.

find the version of official firmware you had on it last, if you try to flash the boot with an older version of the firmware it will fail. Here is a link to the latest firmware for the 710fn from India https://drive.google.com/open?id=1f_C8REO2ZRwiqBegUGEnUer9DcWy9adR
if i try it this way i get an "PIT" error on my phone in ODIN MODE
Never mind. I took the phone to a Samsung shop and they fixed it.
i have the same problem and I can't find the right FW.
all i know is, that I previously had the last available OTA installed.
when trying to flash the FW given above, i get the error: secure check failed (pit)
I have the same problem now. I've tried many available firmware versions and none of them work. Is there anything I can do to make the phone usable again?

[Help] Downgrading problem SM-G930T from Oreo 8.0 to Marshmallow 6.0.1

Hi, I got this phone from a friend and it had Nougat 7.0 firmware installed, I got OTA Oreo update notification so I tried it. Now my battery life has reduced to half and phone lags like hell. I want to downgrade it from Oreo to Marshmallow stock.
I have tried every possible solution on this site and on the web; downloaded compatible firmware, Samsung USB drivers, Odin and tried flashing multiple times, but always got this error. (USB debugging ON, OEM unlock ON. Auto reboot and F. reset time checked)

I then tried to revert it back to Nougat 7.0, but got same error. Please any help would be appreciated as I am sick of Oreo update.
Current Bootloader Version: G930TUVS8CRJ1
Latest Firmware: G930TUVSACSG1/G930TTMBACSG1
Oreo Build Number: R16NW.G930TUVS8CRJ1
You can't downgrade USA model S7's, they're bootloader locked which prevents this action.
Even the international version can only be partially downgraded with a full bootloader unlock, and it requires using TWRP and ROM zips.
My only suggestion for your issues is doing a full Odin flash of Oreo with all 4 firmware files selected (AP, BL, CSC, CP) as the OTA's upgrade process is known to cause issues that a full fresh flash doesn't experience.
