NFC Payment Transactions

So I have one of the new Nokia Lumia 1020's from Rogers. I recently picked up one of the Secure SIM's (SureTap SIMs), that supposedly support NFC transactions for payments.
Activated the card, it's all working. However I still don't have an option to enable NFC payments under the MS Wallet App?
Anyone have any experience with this?

It's not for that it is for their own, I believe, CIBC app. As far as I know they still haven't released the Windows Phone app for it.

Actually, most NFC based payments require a SIM card with a "Secure Element" to store CC information inside of and handle the encryption separately.
The CIBC app uses the same technology. Looks like the wallet app simply isn't provisioned on my carrier.

Samsung Pay PIN not working...

So i setup samsung pay on my S3 and the NFC works great. no issues. But when i put it to the card reader (non nfc devices) it recognizes my card as DEBIT and i put in my DEBIT CARD PIN and it declines the card. I was at a grocery store and it did the same, but it gave me the option for credit...after 2xs of failing my pin, i did CREDIT and it went through. But some machines wont let me choose credit. Has anyone had this issue before????

Unfortunately, I don't have a definitive answer for you (mine is being delivered today), but I believe that I read that the pin is different, and is possibly the last 4 of the card, or you can get it from tapping on the card on the watch.
Sorry that I don't have more information. Hopefully soon.
The PIN it wants is the one you setup on your watch, not your card pin.*

That is incorrect. The pin the card reader asks for is the one for the debit card and not Samsung's pin to prevent unauthorized access. Some places do this to myself as well, Lowe's for example will not accept Samsung pay methods and will decline my transaction. Other places work flawlessly though. Make sure you are using the pin for the debit card like you stated and you should be able to eventually find a place that will allow it. There is a possibility that your bank will not allow debit and only credit, maybe give them a call and sort out the details.

The only way to do it for free is if you're the original owner and you meet all of the carrier's requirements

Thanks for the reply. Back in the day there truly were PUK (I can't remember the acronyms for everything) generators. Of course there were many paid ones, but there were also many free ones. I suspect the phone companies actually installed the free ones so that the other guys wouldn't actually make very much money for the paid services.

Most carriers don't use SIM unlock codes anymore. Every single carrier sells at least 1 model that does not use/take a code, even if other models of theirs do

you can also change the csc with alliance shield x -> app manager -> search "cid" -> click the app you see and then click activities then click the first activity and you will be in preconfig and you can change csc from there
Edit: nevermind, it got patched
