The phone comes with one. What happened to it? You can also buy them on Amazon if you need to.

well i need an at&t micro sim card so i can boot up my phone and it will ask me to enter the unlock code that tmobile provided me so i can use my phone for at&t now.
Get a sim card cutter and adapter from amazon/ebay. they are like 2 bucks.
Use a sim cutter to make it into a micro sim. Or if you want to risk cutting it yourself then you can do it too. I did that with my t-mobile sim card and cut it with a pair of scissors . Why would you use the One S on AT&T when you can get the One X running on their network. I am a little confused what you are trying to do though
cut it yourself or go onto the carrier website and order one
here in the UK the sim cards are free

I want to unlock it so if my mom and grandma get there phones fixed if they ever need to I can let them borrow my phone to use. Plus I want them to use my phone since I'm trying to talk them into buying the one x.

Amazon sells AT&T pre paid sims, but you'll probably end up having to buy some minutes with it. But, then at least you can verify it works once unlocked.

I'm on a TMO plan. I got an unlock code, went on ebay and got an AT&T micro sim for $3 shipped. Swapped sims and entered unlock code. Removed the AT&T sim and reinserted the TMO sim.

Could anyone who has used an unlock code to successfully unlock their phone take a look at this thread and see if you can help?
We are close to getting a free sim unlock hack for all but need a few contributors for testing purposes.
Thanks!

Depends on what sized sim card it uses, as of right now I believe its supposed to use a nano sim same as iPhone 5/5s/5c .... your S3 uses a micro sim. It would be best to get a new nano sim (if it really uses this type) but it can be cut down

Crap. I didn't know that. Cutting the nano sim looks more difficult, and sanding it thinner as well. PITA.
I don't even know if my carrier has nano sims for purchase.
Att offers nano Sims and they are free from all att corporate stores. If you goto a privately owned store they might not stock them and if they do, they will charge you (probably between $10-$20)

According to the (leaked) service manual, the Nexus 5 will use a micro SIM, not a nano SIM.

That's great news! I'd much prefer to just pop in my current sim and be good to go. The service providers here are dumber than rocks, and I'm positive that if I asked for a nano sim, they'd have no idea what I was talking about.

[Q] Micro SIM?

Hi Guys, ordered my nexus 5 last night.
I'm assuming the N5 is a micro SIM? Just wanted to clarify?

yes, it is a Micro SIM. or if you're me a nano SIM in an adapter as a hangover from my iDays. :highfive:
Thanks for such a quick reply!
Upgrading from my Nexus S so will have to either cut it down or get a new SIM!
How exciting!

I would advise getting a new sim card (that is micro) as it is possible that your old SIM card is not capable of receiving LTE signals. It can probably get 3G/HSPA but not LTE.
Thanks for the confirmation, I'm also not using a micro sim yet but I will get one as soon as my phone arrives.

it takes a microsim. It would not fit in there if it wasn't a microsim. Who's it for?

It will be pretty hard to find a new tray online as the device is comparatively new ... why don't you go to your carrier's store and check if they have a replacement?? They usually have phones which have been returned to them and if your lucky, you'll get one!
close the phone back and claim warranty. a pin shouldn't just break. unless you put something else in there besides a sim crd..
i dont have a reciept or anything i got it off craigslist
Sure you didn't buy it broken then? In any case, you are stuck. Unless you try to use like tape or something. I don't know.

Visit the service center with invoice and they will provide you some solution because you have broken up that pin!
