I'm too cheap for that
I'll be buying a sim card slot instead and having it replaced.

Is the Micro Sim different?

I sold an iPhone 4s today and am wondering when I get my One X tomorrow from AT&T will I need a new SIM or is the iphone one compatible?

The 4S one is the same. As long as it is orange / blue
Ok cool so there's not a specific SIM for LTE?

All orange / blue ones are LTE compatible, regardless of size.
The blue / white ones are HSPA only.
The older ones have less storage too. (not that anyone store contacts on a SIM anymore)
Thanks. I realized a few minutes ago that the question is moot because I got a go phone today and it of course has a larger SIm
I need a sim adapter so I can switch back and forth

Go phone SIMs are different too. Those can't be switched to any other phone

Ditto. Between the micro-sim ( can't fall back easily to my HTC Vivid ) - the perma-locked bootloader ( HTC, rolling over for AT$T on this makes kittens cry ) - and no micro-sd - I'm really starting to debate picking up the HOX today ( even though I'm up for full subsidy )
But I digress... anyone have experience chopping a normal sim to make an adapter?

Rogers sells combination sim/micro sim cards. If you get one of those, and carefully cut out the larger sim piece, it makes an excellent adapter. I found that the plastic ones you can buy elsewhere would tend to get stuck in the phone and require a scary amount of force to get out.

You can always buy one from Amazon. They are generally cheaper there and shipping shouldn't be too much. Buying an S3 was the best decision ive made in a while. Well from a smartphone standpoint.

it takes a microsim. It would not fit in there if it wasn't a microsim. Who's it for?

It will be pretty hard to find a new tray online as the device is comparatively new ... why don't you go to your carrier's store and check if they have a replacement?? They usually have phones which have been returned to them and if your lucky, you'll get one!
close the phone back and claim warranty. a pin shouldn't just break. unless you put something else in there besides a sim crd..
i dont have a reciept or anything i got it off craigslist
Sure you didn't buy it broken then? In any case, you are stuck. Unless you try to use like tape or something. I don't know.

Visit the service center with invoice and they will provide you some solution because you have broken up that pin!

Need honest opinion: Get the 930FD version and sell 930T or wait for something else?

so basically my dilemma is this.. i can get the 930FD dual sim which is rootable and sell my current 930T (tmobile version) OR wait for something else to come out like nexus 7 (hopefully with sd card slot) and just get that and then sell my 930T? i'd be all over the dual sim version right now, but it has no warranty which kinda bothers me a bit. what do you all think?

right, and normally i'd agree with you, but whats keeping me on the fence is all the SD card mounting issues the phones have been having. if i get the same issue with the dual sim one i won't have any recourse.
