No audio out the amplifier - MTCD Android Head Units Q&A

Hello,
I purchased a used Seicane unit that has no volume out of speaker wires. I bench tested this and also tested in the vehicle trying many different MCU's and ROM's and no luck. Sound is playing just find out of the RCA jacks to an amplifier. I have since upgraded the unit from a PX3 to a PX5 with Android 9 from Witson. Unfortunately, I updated the MCU to 3.14 before I read that you cannot go backwards to the 2.# series. I was wondering if there maybe a setting I can change that would affect this? TIA

Send it back! What did the reseller suggest when contacted for support?

Have the same problem, but I have builded in amp for rear speakers in my car. So at least have some sound, will buy external amp anyway. Px6 android9

[Solved] How to pass audio to premium (Bose) amp from PX5 MTCD HU (2013 Mazda CX-7/9)

Hello,
I am having trouble passing meaningful audio to a Bose factory amp from my PX5 MTCD (said amp comes with my 2013 Mazda CX-9 but I believe that the same hardware can be found in other contemporary Mazda vehicles). Instead of audio I only get a 2Hz very loud beep. The best guess (by me and the PAC guys) as to what happens is that the signal level is too high for the Bose preamp (which is known to have a low impedance) so that the amp is overloaded. I am feeding said amp directly from the preamp outputs of the unit. I believe (but I am not sure) that the way the unit is interfaced with the CAN bus is immaterial to the issue. Indeed, I connected the unit using the included CAN bus adapter as well as a PAC RP4-MZ11 adapter with the same result.
So my question is, is there a way to control the gain of the preamp outputs of such a unit? Do you guys have any other advice on what to try to fix this issue? Wild guesses are welcome (I am willing to experiment).
Thoughts are much appreciated. Many thanks!
In my Audi B7, which also uses a Bose amp like this, I used 2:1 step-down audio transformers along with a resistor divider network on the SPK out from the android headunit. I found the line out level to be too low to drive the transformers, and couldn't connect line out directly to amp due to non-isolated ground.

Great tip, thank you very much. I will try it as soon as I can. Do you happen to remember the overall resistance and the ratio for the divider?

So that's what causes the trouble. Good to know, thank you again. Much appreciated.
For the record, it turned out that my issue was caused by the CAN bus adapter rather than audio source. Strangely enough, the adapter requires that the car be turned on (and that's a full on, not just ACC) for the first time. If this is not the case then max volume beeps are all the sound that is produced by the amp. As soon as the car is turned on once the amp/head unit combination will work thereafter on ACC as well as on ON.
This appears to be a "feature" of the vehicle rather than the adapter, as the same problem manifested itself with two totally different adapters (PAC RP4-MZ11 as well as the adapter that came with the head unit).
With this proviso the preamp outputs of the head unit drive the amp well, so that there was no need for a line converter in my installation. The preamp level is pretty high (so volume beyond 25% or so is unusable) but this can easily be fixed by playing with the gain on the head unit.

Subwoofer Seat Sound not working

Hi all,
I have a Seat Leon 5F with Seat Sound (so including a subwoofer). I've just installed a Witson PX5 W2-V5570 Android 8 unit. It's working fine, except for subwoofer (not working) and probably also center speaker.
On the original system, the signal for the subwoofer is coming from the quadlocker, but this doesnn't seem to be processed in the Android unit..
Anyone familiar with this? Know a solution?
Many thanks!
I'd say cut off the wire and solder it onto the extra cable used for subwoofers. But I'm not sure how the connections on this device are

Hello.
Do you still have your head unit ?
Thanks
Yep, how so?
I intend to sell it though. It works, but i cannot get the sound to work properly. I have sound, but it appears it cannot drive all speakers from seat sound.

Carplay issues looking for solutions dasaita mx6 rav4

Hello I installed the newest sygav unit in my car which i think is the same as the dasaita unit and i just anted to know if anyone else had these issues and or might have solutions i'm currently on the android 10 firmware
-There is static coming out of what seems to be my right dash tweeter
-After an update i feel like my wireless carplay connection is a little slower than before and just overall just a little more laggy than previously (animations don't seem as smooth)
- my rear speakers simply just do not work anymore after installing the headunit which doesn't make sense to me because from what i know in my XLE RAV4 the audio is just one connector for all the speakers since i don't have the JBL upgrade with an AMP
Sell it and get a real carplay unit?
carplay unit?
Dude what is a better carplay unit then the sygav its the dasaita max10...

The dasaita and sygav isn't a carplay unit, it's hacked Android running a Chinese knock off carplay emulator app 'zlink'. Search for that app to read about how buggy it is.
If you are looking for real, certified, carplay, an example is Sony XAV-AX1000.
I don't get why people buy these Android head units only to want to screen send from their mobile device, when the idea of having an Android head unit it to load apps onto it and use that as primary vehicle device.

AUDI BOSE TT 8J - Xtrons 4Gb / 46Gb PX6

Hi,
i have exchanged my original Audi RNSe with an Xtrons PX5 in RNSe design.
all connections are done. For the line out i had to buy a Quadlock cable and disconnect the Lineouts in the Quadblock and connect them to the RCAs on the back of the Xtron radio.
With the original cable i had a lot of noise because the Xtrons radio had send the Amped Audio out to the Line In connector in the Quadlock.
Now with it is connected with RCA.. it is better but
1. Not as loud as the RNSe
2. A lot of less Sub and Bass
Is there any way to fix that. As there is a RCA labled with Subwoofer, is in the software somewhere a setting for a Highpass filter for FR FL RR RL for RCA ?
I dont find anything.
On my RNSe i had to lower the bass to -5 and sometimes it was still to fat for me. Now in Xtrons i have to boost the Bass at +10 and it is still not as good as with the original Radio.
Any ideas waht i can do.
PX5
MCTE_LM_V3.67d_1
Android 10 original Xtrons ( maybe Android 9 )
cheers
thanks
Sounds like Xtrons sell lots of different MTCD/E types, they were selling GS at one time.
Hi
You can increase or decrease main volume, or only bass volume, with connecting computer and VAG com software.
For volume bass, you can choose for example '' leather interior'' or other inside option. That boost (or not ) bass.
I have done it

PX6 Microphone Issue

I have a Dasaita PX6 head unit in my 2017 WRX, and the mic is picking up a ton of background noise, from what people on the other line tell me. I tried several mic apps and a 3.5mm wired mic but it still doesn't change the quality. I had this issue in my other aftermarket AA/CP head unit in my VW and assumed it was just because it was non-OEM. But after I did some research, I saw that people said that they had no issues with their mics in the PX6 series... Can someone give me any advice or directions?
Model - PX6 (1024x600)
Android Version - 10
Kernel Version - 4.19.111+
MCU - MTCE_HA_V3.78_1
Not Android Auto. Requested Moderator move to (MTCD) forum as MCU is MTCE.

I do have Xtrons PQS81UNV unit (PX6, Android 11, MTCH_GS_V3.80_3) and I bought external mic for it. I do not see any improvement when I connect external mic, so I do not use it at all. Internal unit mic is so good that I just wasted money on external 3.5mm mic.
I've tried using the internal mic on the face of the headunit, but it still sounds terrible...

As per hundreds of posts on this, disconnect internal.
