after listening to Pandora I close the app and a few minutes later it comes back to the notification drawer. I am unable to clear it without restarting my phone. Anyone else having this issue? I'm on tmobile oneplus and oos 9.5.8
Mine does that also, I think it's something up with Pandora's APP.
I also have a S10+ and it has been doing that on it for awhile also, and I just got my OP7P yesterday.
I haven't had this issue with either my 7 Pro or S10+. When I'm done with Pandora I always close it by swiping it away in recent apps.

Ive noticed an issue over the last few days on my Surface with Hulu and Netflix both. Both are closing about every 5 mins. It will show in recent apps and re-open and keep playing as it was. it is however getting somewhat annoying. I haven't found anything else mentioned elsewhere. Is anyone else having the same problem?
No issues

no issues with that either. You might try uninstalling and reinstalling the app? Maybe doublecheck your wifi connection? Just watched the daily show with no closing or issues here.
Hulu pauses a lot
I was having issues with Hulu pausing a lot during streaming. I don't use the app anymore, i just stream directly through IE and it works perfectly.
Just an update for all. I noticed using it this morning, while not touching any of the screen or the start button that it went back to start screen and the device vibrated like the button was hit. The behavior continued until this evening when the start button stopped working. Called up tech support and the guy had me go through a hard reset. To do this, hold down power (while the surface is on) for 30 secs. Then hit power to turn it back on. No data loss at all. Booted back up and the device is working properly now.
Has anybody experienced this? I do not have power saver on. I'm on the August 1 security patch for the G930U.
Here is the scenario:
- Play a song through Spotify
- Click the home button (media controls will appear in notifications when Spotify is in the background)
- Pause or stop the song from notifications (don't hit the x in the media controls notification)
- Let phone sit with Spotify on pause
- Eventually, the media controls will disappear from the notifications as if the phone automatically shut down the Spotify app, which is fine.. but..
- Play a song through Spotify again
- Click the home button (media controls will NOT appear in notifications)
The only way to fix this for me has been to open up the recents app menu and swipe it away, then open Spotify again. Extremely annoying.
I have been having this issue as well on my LG G4, almost the exact same symptoms you have. I have tried all the re-installation tricks and factory resetting my phone. After some spotify forum digging I think other users have this issue and its an app based issue. I am 75% sure of it, but know one has had a definite answer to why this happens so I can't say for sure its the app and not Android
I'm having the same problem in a OnePlus X, thought it was something about latest Marshmallow update. I don't think this happen in Lollipop, but.. who knows.
I have had this issue from time to time, but have not noticed it in the last couple days since installing the latest beta (6.5.0.1795) from the XDA Labs app. It hasn't been long enough for me to say for sure it's fixed, but it's worth a shot. Try it out and report back on if you're able to reproduce the issue with the beta version.
Having the same problem on the S7. Latest stable version of Spotify and on latest software.
Over the last views days I've started to notice that when I unlock my pixel 2 the location icon appears in the notification tray when I start a app like XDA or Facebook the icon disappears and when I press the home button to go back to my home screen it comes back straight away. Has anyone else noticed this problem?
I've noticed the same since yesterday. Location icon shows up every minute or so. I ended up disabling advanced location.
I've disabled location completely. I'm guessing it's a Google app that is causing it but not sure which, the only ones I've updated recently are YouTube, health services, play music, Google and keep.
Edit
Looks like a issue with the Google app. I uninstalled it and the went back to normal, when I updated it the problem came back.
I had the same issue, turns out it was the Google beta app for me. I uninstalled it and reinstalled the stable version
I've started getting a glitch where if I swipe up from the bottom and I'm in an app, immediately after the app swipes away it will briefly flash up on the screen again. It started happening as soon as I switched back to the default from Nova. I've since u installed Nova and rebooted and it's still happening. Any ideas on how to fix it?

Google beta app?
I think this could be related to the GOOGLE beta application. I had the same issue after a recent update to the application. After removing myself from the beta the issue was gone.
I think I got an update to that immediately after removing Nova, so I'll give it a day or two and see what happens after another update.
I had that happening when on Q beta 4. Once I switched back to Pie (I did a full wipe/reset) it went away

Is there a way to disable the recently opened apps tracking and the screen time tracking from the settings menu?
I let my son use my phone the other day and when he gave it back to me, it was like he never opened any app that he's normally allowed to use (youtube kids) and a few games. It tracks what I use just fine, just curious if there was a way to turn off those features... Might be handy in the future.
I'm using the standard unrooted Rom when the latest update.
No there is no second profile either.
