Ok, didn't know this...
But in the Description the Author says "Fast Stable - And Battery Optimizied"
In 3h 40min it eated about 6 percent... It means theoretically that one Charge hold 61h ca. 2 1/2 days.... It is normal ?
you could try flashing the new tweaked kernel 3, see if it helps, but all sense 4 roms I tried untill now had disappointing battery life, It does get better after a few days of usage but still not great

and where can i find the tweaked Kernel 3 ?
using nik rom for 2 days , and i can confirm that it's battery killer...but all the things are working very well, only bugg i found was a camre zoom, when i do that , camera is force closing ,and i can't turn it on , unless i reboot the phone..
I'am thinking about to flash back to Stock ROM ....
Cause 1 day for a full batterey is very bad, with the original ROM i easily made 2-3 days

Ur concept is fairly false.
Battery life span depends on the usage or screen on. I can use my phone for a 3 hours from 100% to 20% in the span of half a day, a full day or even drag to 2 days. Damn if I leave it alone I can even drag it to 3 or 4 days.

Is something wrong with my battery?

I used to get about 24hours on my international version S4 running ICS while running a 3G connection, and a good amount of screen usage.
Ever since the JB update(i updated within 2 days of its release), battery life dropped to 9 hours max, and it has been incredibly difficult to live it.
I switched to TrickDroid 9.1 hoping for better battery life. I then turned off Google Now permanently but i am still not getting more than 9 hours of battery life.
Has my battery been spoilt completely? Has its life reduced because ive been running jelllybean for so long now ? Is there anything i can do to fix this ? Or has this got something to do with Sense 4+ ?

I got this phone (S3) with Jb already installed in it, so dont know the difference in battery timings with ICS or JB. But one thing is sure the battery life of this phone (seems with Jb, coz i read the same thing on some other forums as well) is quite poor. I also get less time on battery. Though i have auto sync on for some accounts like gmail, but still battery time shd not be that poor. Hopefully it will be resolved in some next updates. :S
Also i m facing sound issue (posted in other thread in this forum with Jb). Dont know whether this sound issue is only with few handsets or with all One S (having Jb).

What might be a solution for you both is installing a custom kernel
I'm running dark jelly cm10.1 rom in combination with bubba kernel v2.7, and with the right settings I get awesome battery life.
I can really reccomend switching to aosp rom like dark jelly in combo with this kernel.
Or check out xda forums for sense kernels to combine with trickdroid rom, like here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1851841

The kernel you listed is for 4.0.4 based ROMs.
Anyway, i already have the kernel for TrickDroid.
I'll switch to a non-sense ROM and see if things get better.

The best roms for battery life are the original htc sense roms. Have you tried one of those? Also, have you tried cleaning the battery contacts?

Android P Beta Battery Life?

Hey guys.
I've done a quick search from the XDA app and I'm not really able to find any specific details on this topic.
Currently running 5.1.9 with xXx rom and Franco Kernel, which means I'm getting spoilt for battery life with around 7+ hrs SOT!
The info that I've been able to find on Android P for OP6 generally seems to indicate around 2.5hrs SOT.
For anyone using the latest beta, can you please share your battery life? Whether it be screenshots or general experience?
The latest beta seems to be pretty stable, but this is the last thing that's stopping me from taking the plunge!
Also, from the research that I've done, custom kernels seem to work with the beta but it breaks wifi? Is this true or am I way off?
Thanks in advance
For me it's not as good as 5.1.9 with Franco or Flash kernel, but not as bad as 2.5hrs SOT, more like 5 or 6 but with a worse idle drain. I'm with xXx module, viper and I spend way too much time on Youtube...
But if I was you, I'd wait for the next preview since Google pushed the last one beta 10 days ago.
The battery life is bad on p compared to 5.1.9
.. Been running it for almost 2 weeks here. I get around 4-5 hours on p while I used to get around 6-7 on oreo

Oh true I didn't think about the new one.
In saying that I'm quiet impatient ?
5 or 6 is way better than I was expecting though!
Thanks for the replies!
For me battery life on Android P has been amazing, running it since 2 weeks now. SOT from 5 to 7 hrs. Clean flashed.

Yeah I don't have an exact comparison between 5.1.9 and DP4 beta 3, but i would say it's almost the same.
Don't feel a big difference.
Edit: did a clean flash too.
Great thanks guys!
Anyone know about the kernel situation?
