The name of the group is googlecamera_mod, search it, in the group every last post is the latest gcam by them, download it and try ir out...

Try to dirty flash the OS, maybe there is left overs of other pstches for front camera when you installed them.

Tested the latest build, cannot say anything about BT, camera crashes, gallery does not crash but it does not see the pictures in sd card either. Videos are still problematic.
bluetooth works as i've sent a few songs and some apk's over. just wondering if cronmod int2ext works

Got an FC when i long press my carrier in QUICK SETTINGS says "Settings has stopped" and another thing when i get a call the name and the image of the caller are overlaped by the answer and decline circle but good thing to have proximity sensors back :laugh:

Kernel Problem
The most problem in creating a ROM for ChaCha is that the kernel of HTC ChaCha is at least for Android 2.3.7. I think if we started to compile a new Kernel, our problem will be solved.

Gallery has absolutely no problem. It works and works. Nothing is wrong about it.
BTW doesn't the gapps you shared cause problems with flashing?(Just like how it was in CM10) I mean I used a gapps sized at 35 mb at first but it did not flash correctly and there was only 80K left in /system after flashing. Now I am using a 8mb gapps, and installed all necessary apps from Play Store.

Yes, I read it already, I actually built latest builds with arco/android_hardware_qcom_display-legacy, but I have just noticed now that you started with androidarmv6/android manifest! While I used CM's android manifest... That could explain the difference.
Thanks for pointing me to this ! I've been looking at your sources and all, but I miss that part. Let see how it goes using androidarmv6's tree as a base.

For Google Now I would just use the ICS compatible one. It is no different for JB but there is an offline and online one available. You can flash GAPPS and this separately.

It open, I can take picture but not see them and it crash often.
It's clearly still really Alpha but there's great potential.

It was a patch I found on telegram, 'camera_patch_for_global_users_by_taran107&ritzz' <<<flashed this on TWRP.
I switched to PE extended and now everything works including gcam 6.1.

Pixel3mod doesn't work( front cam issues), and don't install the patch if you are using the Indian variant...

Can it work as a daily driver even though it's still in alpha
In every modded Google Camera I use, front cam does not take photos. How to fix this? Flashing this google camera fix via TWRP would solve the problem?

I use single airtel sim. Data is working super fine and so is camera. Can't comment about other things.

You have to wipe the first time around. After you flash pixel experience and reboot to recovery, don't wipe system, just restore Mi A2 system.

I use single airtel sim. Data is working super fine and so is camera. Can't comment about other things.
You have to wipe the first time around. After you flash pixel experience and reboot to recovery, don't wipe system, just restore Mi A2 system.

Goodix fingerprint?
There is a rom thread for Asus Zenfone Max Pro port. People have posted Goodix fixes there. Try that.
For most people fingerprint should work without issues.

I tried Goodix FingerPrint fix it didn't work.
This is the fastest Pie Rom I've Used and I've tested about 6 different Pie Roms.
I am thinking of flashing latest Non-ARB firmware to see if Fingerprint will work.
Everything looks great and I haven't noticed Screen burn issues

Yes I did... I flashed the godix fp and it did not help..

Try rebooting once.
Also install snap cam or gcam and see if it works there!
Can not scan your finger. Please fix it.
if there is an update from the cusrom developer, is it necessary to do this again?
volte is gone after two reboots .. was working fine before updating all apps
This rom is amazing,it's my new daily driver.
Only some bugs while recording audio message on WhatsApp and the dark theme does not apply,but for the rest it is beautiful.
Anyone who installed it can you please test a video call in one of these apps whatsapp, skype, facebook or imo and let us know if the camera quality is fixed in it? because in all custom roms and miui rom camera quality during video call is horrible using these apps

It's not to hard. I just take in a lot that I read from other forums. I'm not as experienced as others but I've been learning on the way.
I can try to change the calling app, I did it once. Do you have any suggestions as to what app I should use to replace the call app? And would you like some more features to be added. I'm lacking on some idea's. I'm already looking at adding Substrantum, Audio FX, Eleven Music, and a CPU Controller. "Those will be in the next Update, along with a new boot animation."
Thank you for the work you've put in! I just wanted to report that I crash when I try to click Home Screen in the Settings under the display tab. Also, would it be possible for you to post the vendor files or what ever you used to compile the rom. That would be extremely helpful.

I used the Stock rom to make this Rom. So essentially it's just a Custom Stock Rom with replaced Apps.

I hate auto correct so much. I meant to say do you have any updates on the kernel. And lower down I meant to say do you still need the zimage.
I'm about to update the ROM again. It will boot faster and have better battery and charger speed.

Thank you for this custom ROM and TWRP! I tested this (and still using as a daily driver) and can confirm working on the LG Phoenix 4 AT&T unlocked bootloader. With Magisk 18.0 I wouldn't recommend you update till a later version is released due to force close errors, but is rare with bash installed to /system. This ROM is very clean and I'm impressed and big thanks to the developer I've been looking for a way to root my Phoenix 4 and have a debloated rom

Awesome!!! I'm amazed that my ROM worked for the Phoenix 4. It was originally for the Aristo 2. What kind of firmware are you running? Also I'm about to release an Oreo Version of the ROM. Would you mind pre-testing it?

I would love to pre-test your rom! I'm on 7.1.2 as the Phoenix 4 was before this rom. No one has even found root or TWRP that works for this device yet so I feel good knowing this rom works

I'd feel good to! Your the first one ever to root that phone. So if Aristo 2 firmware worked then the TWRP with the Oreo Kernel should work for you to. I'll post the link in a sec.

Download this ROM. I havnt updated my links. But this is a little update. Not the Oreo Update.

Requirements:
1) SD card (store photos, videos, songs etc)
2) Custom ROMs (Android Pie AOSP ROMs)
3) Apps (Retro Music Player, Facebook, Instagram)
Steps:
1) Make sure you've stored the media in the SD card.
2) Open Retro Music Player and select Last added
3) Take a screenshot of the arrangement of music list
4) Reboot your phone several times
5) Now open Retro Music Player
It should show no songs/ last added music list arrangement has changed>
You can also check this bug using Facebook/Instagram by tapping upload photos icon
(You can see that older photos will pop up instead of newer photos)
Please attach the changelogs so that the devs can fix this. By helping the devs, you guys are helping yourself too :good:

Yesterday I faced the same issue, and defitnely seems to be a kernel issue, I'm working on an clean import of whyred kernel (Only the necessary stuff to have a fully functional kernel without the unnecessary garbage of Xiaomi and without wayne/tulip sources), if I can fix the bug I will post some builds here, but don't expect a new custom kernel, just some builds.
