Special thanks:
@tecknight for supplying the rooted boot.img, a root method for the Aristo 2, and for fixing up my Custom Rom. A lot of the credit really should go to him, because without his help my effort would have been useless. So again thank you tecknight.

It's not to hard. I just take in a lot that I read from other forums. I'm not as experienced as others but I've been learning on the way.
I can try to change the calling app, I did it once. Do you have any suggestions as to what app I should use to replace the call app? And would you like some more features to be added. I'm lacking on some idea's. I'm already looking at adding Substrantum, Audio FX, Eleven Music, and a CPU Controller. "Those will be in the next Update, along with a new boot animation."
Thank you for the work you've put in! I just wanted to report that I crash when I try to click Home Screen in the Settings under the display tab. Also, would it be possible for you to post the vendor files or what ever you used to compile the rom. That would be extremely helpful.

I used the Stock rom to make this Rom. So essentially it's just a Custom Stock Rom with replaced Apps.

Hey have you had any updates on the keep. I can pull it from the boot I'm for you if you'd like.
And also have you flashed the new update? I add a couple more things and removed some more. I'm stuck unless I can get some more suggestions from everyone.

I hate auto correct so much. I meant to say do you have any updates on the kernel. And lower down I meant to say do you still need the zimage.
I'm about to update the ROM again. It will boot faster and have better battery and charger speed.

I'm about to change the ROM's build.prop to fit the ROM. Can I get some volunteers to help me edit the settings app.
Thank you for this custom ROM and TWRP! I tested this (and still using as a daily driver) and can confirm working on the LG Phoenix 4 AT&T unlocked bootloader. With Magisk 18.0 I wouldn't recommend you update till a later version is released due to force close errors, but is rare with bash installed to /system. This ROM is very clean and I'm impressed and big thanks to the developer I've been looking for a way to root my Phoenix 4 and have a debloated rom

Awesome!!! I'm amazed that my ROM worked for the Phoenix 4. It was originally for the Aristo 2. What kind of firmware are you running? Also I'm about to release an Oreo Version of the ROM. Would you mind pre-testing it?

I'd feel good to! Your the first one ever to root that phone. So if Aristo 2 firmware worked then the TWRP with the Oreo Kernel should work for you to. I'll post the link in a sec.

As we all know Samsung has started pushing the final Nougat build to users, Indians are going to get the OTA soon in the coming weeks. I want to update my phone finally & root it at the same time. Before I do that I wanted to clarify the steps I'm going to perform with you guys to avoid any mistakes. Hope this is full proof.
I'm currently on 6.0.1 SM930FD.
The attached screenshot has all the steps I'm going to perform, the only change is step 12 where ROM will change to Super su zip file.
I hope there is no modem changes? Or any sort of bootloader upgrade that needs to be performed?
Thanks for all the help people, hope this helps everyone.

Its the same procedure I think. We have got the rooted Custom STOCK ROMs as well.
I'm from India and flashed the BTU firmware to checkout the official unrooted Nougat.
I'll try rooting today and let you know.

Well I found much better way with installing this [Universal Script S7/S7 Edge] UniMod V1 (Debloat+Root+Busybox+AdBlock+More)
So I've been watching some videos on how to root s7 on nougat & I can see mostly people using magisk with phh root? I really liked the idea of magisk as we can un root the device at any give point just with a simple switch. Imagine OTA updates (not sure if it works) though there is flash fire for that purpose but if magisk works flawless then why not? What are your thoughts on this?

Worked on the root today and posted a thread. Root is working on Nougat. No Problem. You've to use the latest supersu build.

Yeah I've seen that video made by Shark Jungle channel in YouTube. I did not try that.
He said that Magisk is not workin at the moment.
To use phh root, you need TWRP.
And Inorder to get the OTA updates, you need to have stock Recovery
BTW, You can also unroot in supersu with one click.

then TWRP 3.0.2. after flashing twrp boot into recovery and select reboot and itll ask you to swipe right to enable root. Do that and youre stock and rooted with official firmware

TIMEWARP! Today is August 25th!
Xiaomi has released betas earlier than expected/scheduled!
-> http://en.miui.com/thread-751928-1-1.html
therefore xiaomi.eu has released their build at 2017-08-18 here:
https://xiaomi.eu/community/threads/7-8-17.41122/
BEFORE installing/upgrading to this rom - consider this as early BETA with all its consequences!
If you need an rock solid system its better to install the latest Global/China stable!
Update info:
- update MIUI as ususal
-> download .zip based ROM from xiaomi.eu
-> make backup
-> make backup (really! -> advice: create a full TWRP backup)
-> personal advice: install update via TWRP recovery (on my device MIUI 8 Updater damaged the downloaded MIUI9-ROM)
--> If you get an ERROR 7 while install and check if all partitions are marked under mount options. Then enable and disable MTP. Restore your fresh TWRP Backup, reboot into recovery and try the MIUI 9 ROM update again.
---> behaivior seems to be a mounting glitch in TWRP - but was not able to reproduce :-/
-> result: be happy with your fresh installed MIUI 9!
- install your favorite root if needed via TWRP (Magisk 13.5 beta works perfectly)
TWRP recovery info:
- modded TWRP recovery 3.1.1-0 for weekly ROM 7.5.15_v8-7.0 - 7.7.20 20170523-2356 by raupe stays compatible with this ROM
- modded TWRP 3.0.2-0 by @MrRaines stays compatible with this ROM
OTA update info:
Today (2017-08-25) xiaomi.eu enabled the OTA update server - you can update your MIUI the easy way again! *yay* -> just press the check for updates button from within MIUI

Since I dont have it that long installed I cant give you a full review, but i dont recognize significantly more battery drain than before
If you like I can give you my opinion once i have done a full decharge cycle
For me the battery life is one of the most important things too, i will stick to MIUI for this reason too

Well the Xiaomi.eu rom is known to have all common languages, not like the official rom.
There is no difference here. You can choose between 36 languages.
I am using german for example.

Great job my friend!
Wow can't wait to try Quick question, is there notification shade lag apparent in this ROM? Currently I'm using Fulmics ROM but this notification shade lag can be quite annoying from time to time if there is a lot of notifications and or if lot of them are stacked up like with gmail or yahoo notifications. Thanks!

I don't know, I can't compare because never used Fulmics rom. The best suggestion is that make a backup of your actual rom and test this if you want.
Will you make one for H830 in future?

I don't know wich files are required to adapt it to H830, but a friend of mine will try to make available for your variant. Also, if another dev wants to colaborate with me, all suggestions are more than welcome
Excellent work friend. Welcome to LG G5, excellent contribution. I hope to try it soon.
Nice! I tested it and notifications seems to be much smoother than with Fulmics! I'm now trying to figure out systemui decompilation and fingerprint stuff because I got used to not having to enter pattern every time I restart my device .
Gesture shot seems to work more reliably with this ROM
First of all Thank you so much @Astrako and you really deserve more than this. I love this port but currently I don't have this H850 variant. If possible please make it also for LG G5 RS988, it has official bootloader unlocked + TWRP and already there some of AOSP based rom but I like stock based rom.

I say the same as for H830. I haven't these variants, I can't test for myself or make it blindly. The best way would be a dev having these and adapt this rom for them :good:

As of my experience and knowledge changing only the modem in the rom does the magic I have tried this in on many samsung phones but never had a chance with LG. I am a H830 user, You can just change the modem and upload it. I can test it

Excellent!!! Been waiting for an official stock firmware for this phone, so now it can be added to the stock firmware thread! Great job and thanks for finding it.
Glad to contribute.
Can dev's put together a stock-based custom ROM with this being available? I don't think the other ROMs in these threads work for boost (data issue?). Also, it'd be nice to not loose the moto gestures etc as you do with non-stock roms
