Hello,
Do we have dual speaker at the bottom in pixel 3a mobile phones???
It has dual speakers, but they aren't both on the bottom.
One is located at the top behind the mesh located in the middle of the screen cutout. The second is located on the bottom in the right cutout.

No we do not. If you look at the bottom, we have 1 speaker to the right of the charging port.
You can test this by covering the right mesh hole that the sound comes from and comparing it to the left side.

Just to elaborate, one speaker is front firing from the earpiece and one is bottom firing from the port on the right of the charging port. (IMO doesn't bode well for stereo sound while watching a video for example)

Hey folks, I was messing with my phone today and inadvertently covered up the left speaker on the bottom which reduced the volume by 90%. I covered the bottom right speaker, no appreciable change.
It looks like the right speaker is full of lint! Any pointers on how to get that out of there? Maybe I should pull the case open rather than jamming needles in there?
Then I was reading this article
http://www.forbes.com/sites/gordonkelly/2014/01/29/nexus-5-review-the-long-term-owners-test/
And it said the Nexus 5 has a mono speaker. Waaaaaiit a second. There are clearly two speaker grills in the bottom. Doesn't that mean stereo sound? I thought I had a lint problem, and now perhaps they're just fake holes?

Nope, just one speaker. The second grill is only for aesthetics. Sucks, I know.
Ghetto!

It's not just for "aesthetics".. There's a mic in there!

This thread made me laugh LOL. But on a serious note yes the right grill is a microphone. It's the phones main microphone for say when in a phone call or recording video that's what it uses.
Yes it's funny. There are a million threads about this, yet no one uses search before posting.
Can you please quickly look at the top ear piece and tell me if you can see some flat metal thing partially under the speaker grill mesh? is that normal?
thanks

well I haven't ripped one if these apart yet but my guess is that they had to suspend the speakers in their own little chamber in order for the acoustics to work with the waterproofing. I think that metal thing is the speaker itself.
I have gone through 4 Z3s for one reason or another and all had the same appearing top speakers so I'm guessing it's normal.
I can see the same with mine so I'm guessing it is normal for these devices

The design looks like 2 speakers but it's only one in the right, and the left is the mic.
When you turn the phone crosswise, the earpiece turns as a stereo speaker.

Hi guys,
I accidentally got some liquid in the bottom speaker of my mate 9.
The sound is now distorted and muffeld. I tried to clean out the grill and it seems as though I've pierced the protective cover on the speaker grill.
Help please.
Like the title, there is a mic to the left of the USB-C port, but there is also a hole on the other side between the speaker & the USB-C. What is it? I got a case and this hole is blocked, should it be open?
I'm pretty sure it's a microphone. I have a Spigen case, the hole is open just for your reference
htc u11 have 4 microphone for 3D Sound Recording when record video....your case is not official try to change
The four microphones are different than this hole. The there is one microphone on the bottom, one on top front next to the front camera, one on the very top edge and one on the back bottom. The hole I am referring to is the other one on the bottom edge. I attached a photo.
The edge of the loudspeaker board sits pretty close to the port, looking at the teardown on iFixit. Tweeter for the speaker perhaps?
The four mics are shown in this pic from HTC. The little hole must be something else.

Hi,
This xperia have 2 speakers, one in the top and one in the bottom, they are the same? Because I changed them but they have the same size and I'm not sure if I putted them in the right position. How I can know if the speakers are in the right place? Like how I know what speaker is for the top
PD: the speakers work but the sound of the videos and music are a bit low
Yes, both the speakers are the same. Just that top speaker is more loud and the bottom one isn't that loud as the top one. That's because the bottom speaker is fitted inside the antenna module and to see that it's waterproof the bottom speaker isn't as exposed than the top one. :fingers-crossed:
