[Help] Dropped s6, doesn't stay on for more than maybe half second - Galaxy S6 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

My mother dropped her s6 on the kitchen floor and now it doesn't work. We bought a A30 to replace it but she wants the photos and notes and stuff off of it. The buttons on the phone don't do anything with combinations or whatever. Plugging it in turns the screen on for half a second or so then it just turns off and repeats. I've tried booting into recovery and download mode but it's non-responsive. What should I do?

Note 5 broken screen, need help recovering

I have a AT&T Samsung Note 5 that recently broke. Screen is shattered, screen won't turn on,but the phone still turns on but stuck on boot loop. I keep hearing the AT&T intro sound, but its broken like the sound skips. After a minute or two it I will hear it again. Sounds like a boot loop.
I'm on a stock factory rom, not rooted.
I did setup a finger print security on the phone.
I see a blue led light on top of the phone.
I tried using findmymobile from samsung didn't work.
However I did something else. I pressed the home+volume up and power button. I hear a usb sound and installing devices. It then show installing gadget serial
what does that mean?
I simply need to recover my files before I sent it out to my insurance. I am getting a new phone from them, but I need to get my stuff off this phone before I sent it out.
What can I do?

Smartphone fell into Toilet... Help!

[Bad English disclaimer!!!!!11!!]
Hey Guys!
Last Saturday 1st July 2017 my Samsung Galaxy A3 2016 fell into the toilet. At that time it was running. after the drop it showed a green flickering Samsung startup screen with Samsung and the Phone name, like you all know it. I immediately started trying to open the phone with the hair drier. (when the glue on the back gets warm its easier to remove) I opened up the phone, removed all the screws, took out the board and removed the battery. I put it into rice for 3 days. After that, when i put the battery back in, it woud automaticly start to boot just to stop at the Samsung logo Screen with the phone name. From there it would not do anything. I was able to get it to go into odin-download-mode, but recovery mode wouldn't work. (if I hold home, vol up and power, nothing happens) The phone was not rooted.
Does anybody of you amazing People know what do do?

If you can get to download mode then find the stock firmware and flash it via Odin and hope it works.

Galaxy S7 won't turn on but will charge(kinda)

I've had this phone for about 2 months now, and from the beginning, it's had an issue where it would randomly freeze, restart, and get stuck in a boot loop for random amounts of time. Sometimes it would be fine after 2 minutes, sometimes it would need 10. I kept thinking this was a firmware issue - the phone WAS rooted with TWRP installed, but none of my past phones have had this issue and hardly anybody online seems to have had it, either - and just thought that maybe installing a custom ROM would fix it, but never got around to doing so.
3 days ago, my S7 went into a boot loop again, so I just decided to put it down and let it do its thing. After 20 minutes, however, it still wasn't booting, so I booted into TWRP, and cleared the cache and Dalvik cache. Another 20 minutes later, I went into panic mode and started doing Nandroid backups of my stuff. I decided that I had no other choice but to commence with finding a ROM to replace stock. In the meantime, I just plugged it in and let it keep looping, hoping against hope that it would just fix itself like it always did.
About half an hour later, I was ready to install the ROM I'd decided on. I went and picked up my phone, but all that I saw was the screen was black, and the blue notification LED was lit up. I tried holding Vol- + Power to start booting it into TWRP, but nothing happened. The phone didn't vibrate, the screen didn't change, and the LED stayed lit. I tried holding every button combination possible, for even as long as a minute, but the phone refused to respond. I tried plugging it into my computer, but Windows didn't detect anything.
Skip to today, and the phone's battery has long since died(the LED isn't lit up, so I can only assume...), and I just decided to plug the phone in for the hell of it just to see if maybe it would maybe work again. To my astonishment, 2 minutes later, the battery icon came up on the screen, but the charging animation wasn't there. When I held Vol- + Power, the phone actually responded and restarted! Though, it wouldn't boot past the Galaxy S7 splash screen, and when I tried to boot it into TWRP, it went back to being a brick. I let it sit for about 10 minutes, plugged it in, and this time tried to get it into Download Mode, and it worked!
I downloaded the Switzerland version of the G930F firmware, flashed it in Odin, and everything seems to have worked. Odin says it succeeded, but when the phone tried to restart, it got to the splash screen, and after a few minutes, the screen went black again. When I plug it in now, the Galaxy S7 screen will come up, but now I can't seem to get into Download Mode anymore(though, it DOES still seem to respond to me pressing Vol- + Power).
Does anyone have any idea what's going on? I can only seem to find 3 or 4 other threads on various forums about this problem, but none of them have any answers. People just keep saying the usual "Hold Vol- and Power to make the phone restart", but in case I haven't made it clear, THAT ISN'T WORKING.
And before you suggest that I return it to where I bought it for a replacement or refund: I bought this phone on eBay from a seller who said it was in pretty much mint condition. When the phone arrived, there was not a dent or scratch anywhere on the phone, even around the charger port, so I have no reason to believe he was lying. When I asked him about any possible problems with the phone's operational stability the other day, he says he tested it for about 2 weeks, and that he didn't notice anything.
Sounds like a hardware fault, not much else you can do other than flashing stock and factory resetting, which you've done
Considering it had a fault from day 1 it sounds like that fault finally caught up with it
Likely scenario if sent for repair, new motherboard replacement needed

Samsung Galaxy S6 after dropped screen is cracked, black screen...

So a relative of mine brought me an S6 with a cracked screen. It belongs to his 15 year old daughter. He told me that she dropped it and the phone is now stuck on a black screen. When I put the phone to charge it didn't respond in any way at first. After leaving it like that for 2 hours I tried to boot it up. Only response I got was a flickering blue - light blue led light. So I searched on the net and found a couple of people fixing this problem by holding the power button with the volume down button which performs a simulated battery disconnect, unfortunately absolutely nothing happened. The phone continued to flicker the blue - light blue light. The screen is probably dead as no matter what I try it is also black. I tried entering recovery mode, nothing changed (flickering blue light), than I tried entering download mode and the flickering blue light changed to a constant red light which after a while changed to green, I am guessing the phone was charging now (screen still black). So I downloaded ODIN to see if the PC will recognize the phone and oddly enough when I connected the USB it did recognize it. So what I'm thinking is that the screen is probably dead as no matter what I do it is always black, but I am not sure what else is wrong with it... Is another hardware peace broken from the fall or did the system just got messed up is that even possible from a fall? If just the screen is dead shouldn't the phone just boot up normally and have sound, like being able to ring and stuff ... Any advice/ opinion will be greatly appreciated.

Wont turn on need urgent help

I'm having a lot of trouble with my android. I fell asleep on the couch around half an hour ago and I woke up, and it was dead, so I put it on the charger. But the screen flashed this cyan screen saying broken cable. I put it on every single charger in the house and still nothing worked. I even put other phones and tablet on these chargers to make sure they worked and they did. So I don't know why my phone isn't charging. Whenever I do put it on a charger it just turns in but is an all black screen then immediately turns off. It keep doing this and I'm scared it'll mess up my phone. I noticed in the top corner it said "(timeout) Normal booting" so I'm wondering what is going on and what can I do to fix it. Is this one of those red rings of death moments or am I just exaggerating???
Which phone is it?
