How much in real life is present this issue? I refer to the problem that at the bottom, where are the keys to record voice messages, the touch does not reach 100% on the whole display.

Hi all,
When I receive an incoming call on my phone, the top third of the screen shows the callers picture. However, the bottom part of the image is cut in half and not scaled to fit the area. The area below this point is all black with just a picture of a phone in a circle at the bottom half of the screen. I then slide the phone to the right to reveal the options to answer the call.
I've not had a nexus before but have ran third party AOSP ROM's and I'm sure the top half used to display the caller picture in full or at least the silhouette person for contacts without pictures rather than cropping them off. I'm also sure that a circle animation used come outwards from the centre of the phone icon when the phone rang to indicate how to answer.
Can someone confirm what I should see when I receive a call as I'm sure mine is not right. Do you see the circle animation on receipt of calls? Here is the screen shot.
Thanks
Steve
Resolved. Factory reset sorted the issue.
Okay, so I am I missing something or did they remove the Groups tab in Contacts? I can't see why they would do this. I have work, school, and of course personal contacts, I dislike having to go through one long list to find people. I know I can search but that's not the point. Also it seems you can no long copy and paste into the calculator? It seems like they rebuilt these apps for lollipop but forgot basic things. Also I can't seem to figure out how to access my Notification Priority while media is playing. I can't figure out why they didn't add it to the power menu. Any help would be appreciated if I'm missing anything.
Looks like they have removed groups. An odd choice
Calculator is really annoying
There is sometimes a delay when music plays when I press volume, it is still notification volume and I have to wait what seems a life time before it disappears so I can get to my actual volume.
Edit...
also I dont like how the "hide sensitive content" in notifications works with pattern lock. It hides my SMS and email (great) but it also hides my spotify buttons (Wha?)

I wish it would tell you who you have a text from, hide the message when picking "hide sensitive content"
The touch sound is very very low and barely can hear it while lock sound is high , anyone facing this issue ??

I'd be happy with a simple SMS icon in the status bar to be honest.

Yeah, the system sounds aren't noticeable
Just got Oreo, and it appears there's no way to see notification text or interact with notifications using the S View Cover anymore. I can't dial or take pictures anymore either - anyone know of a fix? This is especially annoying considering that I just got a new cover as my old one was worn out. Dial/photos wasn't that critical, but seeing notification texts so that I could read incoming emails without opening the cover was.
I have the problem as flinx1, including that the clock is displayed on two lines instead of one!! Terribly annoying and amateur behavior from samsung developer.
Does anyone know have to fix this?
Disappointed with same issues--no phone or camera from S View window, and can't preview notifications.
Change clock display for S View window in Settings, Advanced features, Accessories, Clock and FaceWidgets.
Hi,
To those who have the original Samsung LED cover. Does a saved contacts name display when they are calling if unassigned to an icon?
This was my only gripe when I had it on my Note 8. When a contact calls, even if saved, only their number displays and not the contact name. Has this been improved in the one for Note 9?
Thanks
no, this has not improved. a big reason why i choose not to use this case anymore.
I have a question about LED view cover for Note 9. Do the LEDs adjust brightness according to ambient light? My Note 4 LED cover did that, but the Note 9's cover I have doesn't seem to do it.

No, but you can draw your own icon and assign this to your contact, so you can draw, let's say "Tom" and select Tom's phone number so it will show his name when he calls you.
Is it possible to add icons to the cover, when pressing power button?
Because right now, it's only showing time, but it would be nice if you can add battery status too.
So I'm curious if there is any way to get what i'm looking for on my Note 20 Ultra. Like many of you, I get a TON of notifications. I'm also one of those people that turns the volume to off at work, and tend to keep it that way. The problem with this is I tend to miss phone calls. When I unlock my phone, I have quite a few notifications in the panel from twitter, youtube, gmail, whatsapp, telegram etc and missed calls tends to get buried. Notifications in the status bar get pushed out rather quickly, ( fills up ) so I have to pull down to view notifications and sometimes calls are buried at the bottom and I miss seeing it. What I would love to have is the ability to pick say two or three most important notification types ( say phone calls, youtube video I'm subscribed to and Signal app ) and ONLY those notifications show up on my lock screen. Preferably with a PREVIEW of the content. So that way while at work or at home, I can quickly see if I have missed a call and from who; Any SIgnal messages and any subscriptions on YouTube that have published a new video. I only want a few apps able to do this. Is this possible? Some of the content I view on Youtube is kinda time sensitive, so as soon as a video is published I would like to see that notification IN MY FACE the moment I look at my lock screen. Any ideas?
