Hi,
The beta of my new project is up.
Is a app to automatically set Android profiles depending of the situations (networks, battery, phone state, calendar, ...)
I known, other apps are executing this work now, but none works fine in Android >= 4.0 and none executes all my requirements
In the first beta, you can define profiles with a combination of the next preferences:
Network and comms
Airplane mode
Bluetooth
Mobile data
Synchronization
Wireless
Screen
Brightness
Orientation
Screen timeout
Stay on while plugged in
Sounds
Alarm sound
Dialpad tones
Enable speaker phone
Haptic feedback
Incoming call sound
Lockscreen sounds
Notification sound
Sound effects
Wired headset on
Vibrations
On incoming call
On notification
Volumes
Alarm
Incoming call
Media
Notification
Silent mode
System
Voice call
I plan to add more features in the final version...
In this first beta you can also apply manually any of the defined profiles
and define your locations (based on wifi, gps or cell towers) but you can't apply the profiles based on this (you can wait to the final release).
If you like this devel and you can help.
I need:
* A icon for the final app
* A translations (including english due to i'm not english and my english is poor). You can set it in http://www.getlocalization.com/SettingProfiles
* Beta testers
Please, if you report a issue, post a description and a logcat.
Thank's to all!

This is a rule condition.
I'm planning to add NFC conditions in final version (non in beta).
Thank's for the comment!
1) What are the advantages compared to competitors, like a Profile Scheduler etc.?
2) Does your program is able to turn on/off GPS (on rootes devices)?

1) none of the programs that i've tested makes effective all my requeriments (except "Setting profiles", but it doesn't works fine in ICS and JB)
2) The list of features isn't closed. i'm working on find how to add gps control to the app, but it not seems possible in normal mode. if that's possible using root, yes, i will include
thanks
I will formulate the question in another way: what CAN (or will, maybe in future release, not in beta) your program that CAN NOT other existing programs?
I'm really interested

WHAT IS PLASMA ROM
Well let’s start with what it is not. It’s not as dark as AOSP, it’s not as bright as touchwiz. It’s not modified in ways that will make your phone less stable than a stock experience. It doesn’t have all the bloat removed, but it has enough removed that it boots very quickly. It’s not your mama’s ROM, but it is stable enough to be. I only want to remove from touchwiz, what can be made better by the All Star team of developers and modders we have for this phone. If you like having to install 10-20 zips after you flash your ROM, this isn’t for you. You’ll find the good stuff is baked in. But make no mistake, we will be adding more with every release. Your suggestions are more than welcome. Updates will be coming on a weekly, to a Google just updated a lot of apps basis. I’m no Scott, or Beans, or Esch, or Hero, and don’t even pretend to be, but I do have a great eye for what works and what will get the best out of your phone. It’s a daily driver, you are going to flash something, might as well give this a go. I think the vast majority will like it. It’s not like anything else out there in my opinion. Enjoy and profit my friends.

This ROM is meant to use a dark background. If you leave the default blue background it will be tough to read. I recommend ditalix or Gyrospace or Deep Galaxies. Or you could just use a straight black background you would be essentially inverted.
Thanks to dsixda’s kitchen
And thanks to all the crackheads, the critics, and cynics, and all my heroes in the methadone clinics!
If I missed you with the love, just shoot me a PM and I will get you up pronto.
BUGS
SLOW INITIAL BOOT, make take up to 2 minutes. Don't panic and don't pull battery. Walk away from the phone and let it finish booting.
Viper FX/HiFi needs the old drivers cleaned out. Just flash this zip.
The Google Now included is ooooold, just use this one instead if you need the latest features.
The Samsung Multi Window app doesn't have a Verizon variant driver yet. Just use Galaxy S3 > GT-I9305 until they do. I haven't felt any side effects yet.
I highly recommend reading my post below as well for customization (base audio effect adjustments for noobs) and other stuff you may want.

TO ACTIVATE FLOATING MULTIWINDOW SEE THIS POST
The MD3 radio and RPM can be found here.
TO GET LEFT\RIGHT CLOCK
Install KindaCrap mods. Choose I535VRBLK3. DISABLE POLICY MODS AND FRAMEWORK MODS. Choose circle battery, or the one of your choice, tell it right or left. Change all of the backgrounds to black and all of the objects to while or another color. And set the expanded status bar notification panel to 75%. If you want the transparent pulldown.
TO ENABLE BLOCKING MODE
Just click lidroid settings in the app drawer. Check the box that says blocking mode, turn it on in the status bar. Profit.
XPOSED TWEAKBOX
To enable the Framework mods, hit Xposed Installer in the app drawer, then hit install, then hit soft reboot. After reboot hit the modifications tab, then hit soft reboot again. Then click on the app called Tweakbox, every option in there seems to worK except the CRT stuff and honestly I personally wouldn't touch the stuff that says experimental. If you want to try it, be sure to make a backup of your ROM first.
Here is an Xposed battery icon changer. Thanks Romcrazguy.
Not telling you what kernel to like or anything, but the brand spanking new KTkernel is absolutely smoking on this release.

Link is fixed. We are up on filehost now.
so even without the phone being released yet, were starting to get a picture of what features it has, and doesn't have. since the development section is reserved for actual development, I'm going to share what my development todo list looks like, for some essential tweaks once the device is released.
if you've got a good idea, or useful tweak you think of, you're encouraged to share it.
anyone's welcome to hijack my thread as they'd like, the more open, the more we can collaborate on each project, whether it be one of mine, or one i have nothing to do with~
TODO:
'Privacy Mode': music won't shift over to loudspeaker during notifications when headphones are attached. (note* Boeffla kernel implemented this in sgs3)
long press volume up/down track skip. (not sure if sgs4 will have this or not, but assuming its missing, it'll be a fairly easy mod) (note* possibly first todo).
freaking remove parental controls from camera. samsung lovesss to be a natzi when it comes to when you can use YOUR camera; camera wont work when battery <15%, or during music, in call, or during a media scans, shutter sound, and auto focus sounds are immutable... considering sgs1/2/and 3 all required custom modding to make them functional, its safe to assume well again need to play this little game with samsung yet again ...
keep screen off during notifications option
it may look short but theres already a massive amount of time involved.
- CRT OFF.
- Centre Clock.
- Depending how the sound quality comes out off the DAC, developing it via kernel.
Black statusbar

THE ISSUE:
-The current stock equalizer only offers options for Bass & Treble and "Lound" (Loud?.. it adds loudness). When volume is up it sounds like portion of sounds is missing (quite midrange effect)
-Currently I am not able to use any equalizer app except the one that comes stock with the ROM
-When installing equalizers, some fail to open and are forced to close; others install but simply do nothing when changing the settings
STEPS TAKEN:
Disabled stock EQ app in settings and cleared data/cache - Alternate equalizer apps still did not work
Disabled stock music player app in setting and cleared data/cache - Alternate equalizer apps still did not work
Looked for 'Settings>Sound>Music Effects' option to switch to new equalizer being used - 'Music Effects' option does not exist for this build
Attempted using music player apps with equalizers built into them - equalizer option in app doesn't show - other apps like this just don't start (they are forced to close when starting)
THE DEVICE:
-Model: SNT-210
-System Version: 4.4.2-20140516-sntb-HOMEMADE
-Kernel Version: 3.0.101-gdaab9de-dirty
[email protected] #46
-Build Number: omni_sntb-eng 4.4.2 KOT49H eng.QDroid.20140516.133512 test-keys
-Basband Version: Unknown
Does anyone have any suggestions to resolve the issue? If they would have included a good stock EQ it would be nice..
If anyone knows where I can find good custom rom(s) for this device that may also be helpful.
UPDATE - I got Poweramp working on there, equalizer and all! It doesn't sound the best, would be better if I had more options but gonna try to make due with this.
This is a cusptech head unit right?
It is a little bit late but I got a solution for you.
They simply did a very bad job in editing their config files. Check the file audio_effects.conf in /system/vendor/etc.
Simply delete it(or move it if you like a backup). After rebooting you will be able to install any Equalizer that you want. I am using Viper4Android since a year without any problems.
But even with viper or poweramp equalizer, the sound of these units are distorted, the mesured frequency response is a joke. I could not even correct it with an external DSP.
The way I am trying now is to plug a USB DAC(like hifimediy) to the system and bypass all the sound processing crap that they have implemented on their mainboard, espcially the TM2312 chip.

ButterLimitsButterLimits - Its A Magisk Module with many features that some you can see and some you can only feel by your device usage.
Its A Magisk ROM or Magisk MOD, we can call it anything. But, I am just releasing it in MOD section because I think its a right place for it because Full ROM is a complete ROM with all system files [Big size] and a small part with custom settings and patches or with some apk files can only be mod or a theme. Why its name is ButterLimits? Many of you already heard "ButterSmooth" in Android Developing, but why?, Because of its smooth functions, smooth touch responses and fast working device.
But many times ButterSmooth experience can eat a lot of battery that our device not supposed to. So, when we add some limits to it for a perfect balance between performance and battery backup.....
Then here comes A ButterLimits and yes its for OOS 11 only right now. But if we remove and edit some files then it should also work as A Universal Mod but not all the features that come for OOS 11 and Open BetaFeatures:-UI Tweaks-Blur effect in background when pull down notification panel and in some more places.

Precautions are in your hands.
Click to collapse
1. ButterLimits is heavily based on Stock Kernel
2. Some VM Tweaks may or may not conflict while using any custom kernel (can or cannot create some issues)
3. ButterLimits on each boot force kernel to use Schedutil Governor.
4. ButterLimits uses CPU/Governor Tweaks for and on Schedutil Governor only.
5. If you change settings from any kernel tweaking app or just change governor, Then assume it that many CPU/Kernel Tweaks (from ButterLimits) are not in use anymore and conflicting.
6. With ButterLimits, If you use any other mod also that contains Kernel/CPU/GPU tweaks that can heavily create issues.
7. ButterLimits Does it's best with Stock Kernel when it's alone.
8. But obviously you can try ButterLimits with different kernels. (But in that can if you get some issues, it will be difficult or impossible for me to solve it)
9. If you have any sound mode then I recommend trying ButterLimits without any sound mod first to experience actual ButterLimits Sound Enhancement, And then later you can do experiments with other mods.
Conclusion:
Don't expect any support if you are on a custom kernel or sound mod.
However, I may help if possible but don't expect it.
But you can get help from other users in a thread.

Anyone test this yet? I'm really intrigued by the blur and the gaming optimization.. I'd flash this but I'm not near any wifi rn
I have installed it and at first glance you can see that it improves the speed quite a bit in all aspects. Installed with Neutrino kernel. Thank you so much for this mod
Req: Is it possible to make the background blurry in recent applications?
Hi. Can u add black icons on quick settings? Wi-fi, Bluetooth, data...
This mod looks very promising, do you plan to relase it for other oneplus phones? Specifically oneplus 7t pro

Hi, can you share your compiled kernel? I'm curious to try it but unfortunately Neutrino is a compilable kernel but I don't have the skills whatsoever.
About the mod: runs perfectly, thanks a lot to the developer.
Just to let you know:
- I've been trying it for two days with Radioactive Kernel, at the moment zero problems.
- I have been trying it for two days with the Dolby Atmos app installed (apk + Magisk module), apparently there are no conflicts but I will test more thoroughly and on different scenarios.
Latest OOS 11.08.14.

Why not just download Neutrino from the Dev? He has a pre release version that is available

Scroll lags with this module. Removed.

Thank you for this mod. The last 2 versions are working just fine on the 8T open beta 6 without any issues.

Unfortunately with this version I have problems with voice messages on Telegram.
They are recorded at a very low volume.
I haven't tried on WhatsApp and other messaging apps because I don't use them.
I think the problem is in one of the optimizations under the "sound" section of the changelog.
Reverted back to the previous 3.8 version for now, thanks for your time.
Stock OxygenOS 11.08.14, stock kernel.

Thank you very much, with the new 4.0 everything works perfectly!
I disabled the Dolby Atmos app and its Magisk module as you suggested in the changelog: thank you very much for the equalization you have chosen, it's great!
Allow me to give a suggestion to everyone: for safety, disable Dolby Atmos integrated in the OxygenOS with the following command from the terminal:
Code:
su
pm disable -user 0 com.oneplus.sound.tuner
Bye!
Would it be possible to make the dark theme completely black instead of dark grey?
