I updated xz via ota update to 7.0
After the update, the battery is quickly decreasing. It was look like a deep sleep didn't work,....
So I did recovery with xperiacomanion (made a clean install).
Now i don't have transparent lock screen anymore (witch came with update to 7.0) ?!
Reset didn't help.
should I try to do recovery again?
Thank you.
EDIT:
now i realizerd that transparent lock screen enable only when you change the wallpaper. If you change the theme it doesn't show
I don't know what's the point

Thanks goes out to @wbrambley for his involvement in testing & helping to solve / fix bugs!
I noticed that "mm-pp-daemon" was stopping the CPU from going in to sleep state and keeping it at full clocks but after killing the process it reloaded and was fine.
@nutsda, I've tried to pm this but its not working. Probably some spell check safety net
You should post a link here. http://www.modaco.com/forums/forum/796-vodafone-smart-ultra-6/
the SU6 has its own device forum on Modaco and I'm sure it would create some interest.
I've pushed(?) a change that enables the NFC and also put up my overlay folders. There's some stuff in there you might like.
The sensors (Accelerometer, Magnetic field and Rotation vector) are still causing grief.
How fast is your phone to "wake up" from sleep? My buttons light up but screen on takes about 5 seconds. (could be the sensor hal cal firing up but im not 100% sure.)

Use recovery to flash a 5.1 stock ROM, then you can get temporary root. I'm guessing you've found a guide for this. After that I recommend flashing stock MM from TWRP. There's one with edited uodater-script around that will work.
Hint: look at the forum I posted earlier.

Thanks for your rom
I Wonder when will sensors be fixed?

Okay here is an updated build http://www.mediafire.com/file/wedlnkhzk4e5o81/lineage-13.0-20170925-UNOFFICIAL-p839v55.zip, playstore should now work properly & improvements to sensors (but probably still require more work).
Thank you. Market now works. Still can't install nova but overall very good. Looking forward for the first stable release

I haven't tried the other custom roms but I believe it will be because most of them are ported from another phone rather than specifically built for this phone.

You have to download SuperSU to get root access as Lineage doesn't have root access built in.
I have TA-1046 with Pie and unlocked bootloader...
After install (via TWRP) Magisk (official zip release (tested 17.1 and 17.2)), then is missed:
From Settings/System/Gestures:
- Swipe fingerprint for notification
- Swipe up on Home button
- Lift to check phone
From Settings/Display:
- Double tap to wake
After uninstall Magisk, then all this gestures is available again, this is not (direct) related to unlocked bootloader, still have unlocked and without Magisk installed is all Gestures here...
I try following:
- enabled Magisk hide
- activated MagiskManager
- installed Magisk module "MagiskHide Props Config" (but not manualy changed anynthing in prop files)
Anyone have any tips for fixing this?
btw: screenshots is from DP4.1, but in Stable Pie is same problem...
UPDATE: thanks to Doktaphex, workaround found, confirmed with screenshot here
UPDATE2: actual version (1.7.4) not working, i not have installed other version before than 1.4.3, reinstalled this older version manualy from Download folder working
Where did you get TWRP for pie? Please guide me to the correct place
Broadcasted from Zeta Reticuli
I had the same issue! I'm on Official Android 9 (version 00WW_3_22C) TA1046, and i root it with magisk by following this method:
https://forum.xda-developers.com/nokia-7-plus/how-to/guide-how-to-root-ab-partition-scheme-t3792509
When i remove Magisk Module, Gesture navigation, Lift to check and Double tap to wake are available again!

I think he didn't flash TWRP, he booted into it and flashed Magisk. That's what I did too.

I am on Oreo September and I keep getting a blank screen on Smart Lock. every time I enable it somehow (Settings>Lockscreen>Trust Agents>Disable Smart Lock>Reboot>Enable Smart Lock), it gets blank again after some time.

I just got the OTA today and had the exact same problem. Initially i thought it was just a bug from the update and did a factory reset, and it worked and had the gestures back until I installed Magisk again. Did you find how to fix it?

Same problem here on TA1062.
Do we suspect it's the phone or magisk to blame?

Here is the output in a text file. Had one of my friend pull it out from his TA-1046 Global ROM Pie Stable, September patch.
I hope it helps (◕‿◕)
Edit: Commented on github with pastebin link. There already was one but I saw more lines on mine who decided to post it anyway
@k3dar7 @Gravemind2015 Many thanks Hopefully, this will lead to a fix so that Magisk properly supports our device on Pie sans the glitches.
If you use the PIX3LIFY mod, it will re-enable all missing gestures.

Unfortunately, I can't do that atm. I'm on Oreo right now and I'm not moving up to Pie. I'm afraid you'll have to ask the others to try it out, and if they too concur with your experience, then I'd gladly reopen the issue. ?

i think if you not have now Pie, then i wait if someone confirm/disprove and i reopen own issue
btw: actual (1.7.4) version Pix3lify stop working (=not enable missed gesture), i not have installed other version before than 1.4.3, reinstalled this (1.4.3) manualy from Download(if have installed this version before) folder working
With Pie Nobember update is now NOT need workaround using Pix3lify 1.4.3 mod...
now gestures is simply not blocked with installed Magisk (17.3 which is version BEFORE (not working for me) patch on Magisk side)

Did u even try to downgrade to miui 11?
Hmm i blindly believe u...and now I lost fingerprint options. and I didn't create backup of persist.img
Hope other sensors are fine. Please in future don't answer anyone with guess and if u are not sure.
EDIT: Tried everything to back fingerprint on miui 11 but fails. All other sensor is fine even L1 widevine is ok. After flashing MIUI 12 fingerprint is back but i think it working slower (maybe placebo effect)

Hey,
When i had a trouble, or stutter on my fingerprint on my oneplus 3, to avoid that, the tips is to delete all fingerprint, and restart saving new one. Try it and tells me if it works.

I did the same thing without any FOD problem (V12.0.3.0.QJKMIXM to V11.0.2.0.QJKMIXM miflash).
But i lost fingerprint with a Weekly EU rom.
I solved the problem with this method:Flashed with miflash V12.0.3.0.QJKMIXM clean all and lock then :Go to the CIT menu press the 3 dot in the top right of screen scroll down calibrate the FOD -> place a white thing on FOD click start before next step put something black on FOD and press next...wait until finish close restart and add your fingerprint(Thanks to tze_vitamin).that's all...

i was downgrade 12.0.3.0eu to 11.0.6.0eu (clean all and lock method) and lost FOD. Tried everything to back FOD and only solution for me was flashing back 12.0.3.0. Didn't try with calibration on CIT as i didn't know for that..all i was tried in CIT was fingerprint test which failed. Thanks
so used miflash to downgrade? did you upgrade to 11.0.6 then ? Im having problems with 12.0.4 widevine not working and mediaserver having 70% battery consumption

yes i was using miflash to downgrade and i was downgrading from 12.0.3.0 to 11.0.6.0 and i was lost fingerprint, since 11.0.6.0 is last and only MIUI 11 for EU i was not able to flash any other 11. so i was back on MIUI 12 again to fix fingerprint problem.
Right now im using 12.0.4.0 Indonesian rom with locked bootloader and im pretty happy with it, im only missing miui launcher right now.

Hello,
Like the title said, orientation is off by 90°. Auto rotate works as expected (if we ignore it being off by 90°).
The camera is also off.
But when I'm in landscape and try to check tablet orientation via adb. I get it's in position "0" which is for portrait.
It seems like the sensors are misscalibrated. Any way to fix this?
I used this custom rom: https://sourceforge.net/projects/andyyan-gsi/files/lineage-20-light/
Anybody has any ideas?
did you flash lineageos on zui13 or zui14 firmware?
