Did u even try to downgrade to miui 11?
Hmm i blindly believe u...and now I lost fingerprint options. and I didn't create backup of persist.img
Hope other sensors are fine. Please in future don't answer anyone with guess and if u are not sure.
EDIT: Tried everything to back fingerprint on miui 11 but fails. All other sensor is fine even L1 widevine is ok. After flashing MIUI 12 fingerprint is back but i think it working slower (maybe placebo effect)

Hey,
When i had a trouble, or stutter on my fingerprint on my oneplus 3, to avoid that, the tips is to delete all fingerprint, and restart saving new one. Try it and tells me if it works.

I did the same thing without any FOD problem (V12.0.3.0.QJKMIXM to V11.0.2.0.QJKMIXM miflash).
But i lost fingerprint with a Weekly EU rom.
I solved the problem with this method:Flashed with miflash V12.0.3.0.QJKMIXM clean all and lock then :Go to the CIT menu press the 3 dot in the top right of screen scroll down calibrate the FOD -> place a white thing on FOD click start before next step put something black on FOD and press next...wait until finish close restart and add your fingerprint(Thanks to tze_vitamin).that's all...

i was downgrade 12.0.3.0eu to 11.0.6.0eu (clean all and lock method) and lost FOD. Tried everything to back FOD and only solution for me was flashing back 12.0.3.0. Didn't try with calibration on CIT as i didn't know for that..all i was tried in CIT was fingerprint test which failed. Thanks
so used miflash to downgrade? did you upgrade to 11.0.6 then ? Im having problems with 12.0.4 widevine not working and mediaserver having 70% battery consumption

yes i was using miflash to downgrade and i was downgrading from 12.0.3.0 to 11.0.6.0 and i was lost fingerprint, since 11.0.6.0 is last and only MIUI 11 for EU i was not able to flash any other 11. so i was back on MIUI 12 again to fix fingerprint problem.
Right now im using 12.0.4.0 Indonesian rom with locked bootloader and im pretty happy with it, im only missing miui launcher right now.

To fix this issue you need to flash persist.img from Fastboot rom to Persist partition using Orangfox recovery- But remember after this you may/will loose widevine L1 support to L3
My compass sensor doesn't update at all

Never had this problem with the EU roms.
Did you use this TWRP?
https://androidfilehost.com/?fid=17248734326145679747
With a stock rom to have all the calibration options.
https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/use-xiaomi-flash-tool.4262425/(last).
possible with twrp(zip) but more safe with this method.

Did you use the calibration with a piece of white paper then black?
I had this problem and it was solved with this manipulation and if I remember correctly it ended with an error but restarting the phone it came back.
You have to restart the phone after trying a calibration, trying several times in a row no longer works.
And the calibration must be done with the rom you had at the start.

This may found unusual but I really want to revert back to MIUI, mainly because of the camera app. Gcam has made my life worse because of shoddy module intergration and the gallery opening delay, even with many .xmls I have downloaded. MIUI is getting better every day, and there are ways to debloat it and remove the ads, so I expect that it will get better.
There have been ways to revert the phone back to MIUI and lock the bootloader, most of them involves the MiFlash tool and jt is known to be unstable and brick your device. Is there anyway to lock the bootloader and revert to MIUI without the MiFlash tool?
Thanks in advance
hi there, if you are on a custom rom then you can get back miui camera, follow this video
. it will help you install miui/ANX camera on your phone, however if you still dont like it you can follow this guide and it will show you how to get back to stock miui,
.
if you still need help just ask again.
Thanks! I'll reply to you later
I think the gallery delay is actually HDR processing. If you turn off HDR, then images appear in gallery immediately.

If you want to shortout this issue you should go to service centre and change the motherboard or u try to unlocked bootloader and flash any other version miui
i have visited service center, they said wait for next update there is no issue in motherboad.
and we all know i will take months to get the update.
Same thing they told me but after 10 days my device dead then they change my motherboard
If issue in miui rom then miui update 12.5.4.0 why not fix this wait and watch no updates can fix this if updates can fix this then we surely fix this by flash fastboot rom

Hello,
I got a big issue on my Mi 10 Ultra, the stock camera is not wanting to work anymore.
It's black only and then refuses to launch (see screenshot attached).
I've tried third party apps but quality is not as good and I can't use all the camera modules. I've bought the 10 Ultra for it's cameras and really want to keep using it. (I do a lot of macrophotography and the 10 Ultra is amazing for this but only on the wide angle module.)
Did someone encountered the same issue ?
I've tried installing GCam but I do not managed to install apks. Theres an issue during the package analysis... (I've tried all GCam apks I could find here.)
I'm on stock EU OS with TWRP and I just activated root to try to solve the issue.
Sorry for bad english and french screenshots
EDIT: Every camera is working in the CIT hardware tests, I think it's software but I resetted the phone and nothing changed.

I understand this is a tutorial to change my ROM, which is not what I'm searching for as the ROM works really well. Plus I only see the CAS on this thread's links which is the chinese ROM.
Not sure what you meant.
My bootloader was locked all the time, I just unlocked it during my testing but it did not change anything.

Now in the tests, my 5x telephoto camera does not respond, so I think it's an hardware issue, but I don't think the camera is broken so I'd like to found people with the same experience.
I don't think changing the recovery will solve the problem.
Plus I like having TWRP

Flash this rom to be sure
Mi 10 Ultra ChinaStableFastbootV13.0.4.0.SJJCNXM
Just to be sure of something, I did a test. Thanks for answering all my messages but what I need and want now is info or a way to debunk the issue.
I wont flash a ROM in a language I don't understand on the phone I use every day just to test something.
I already tried resetting the phone (including dalvik cache iirc) and it did not change anything.
Plus I would need a PC and a flashing tool, this would take a lot of time...
Finally, the issue did not came with a ROM change, the actual ROM is stable.
Edit : I changed the camera module, everything works perfectly
According to my repair shop, Xiaomis are just unreliable.
