Hello.
Well, basically, the phone started freezing and the only way to unfreeze is turning off. When i try to turn on again, the phone just blinks the led, and sometimes just blink when plugged on energy.
I've already searched on the internet, and actually found two videos of guys unplugging the battery and plugging again, and the phone comes back to live. They have made this on another model that i don't remember. I've made on mine and worked, but the S2 have a backplate that i cant take of completely to do this, and opening and closing everyday is awful.
Does anybody knows why this happens, or how to fix definitively?

Ok, stop me if you've heard this one before (I've searched and searched to find a solution to this issue, so I appreciate any help I can get)
I recently rooted my TF101 and have been flashing different ROM's to see which one I like the best. I'm not a complete NOOB, but I've never done flashing on a tablet before. I flashed Megatron 1.6.1 and when I went to reboot I couldn't get out of recovery and it kept looping back to recovery despite my doing a complete re-wipe/flash. When I finally powered down I wasn't able to power back on.
Now the unit will not turn on, either regularly or in recovery. It's completely dead. I've been letting it sit plugged in for a while to see if that helped and still nothing. I've held the power button down in every conceivable way and for different lengths of time and still nothing.
I'm at my wits end... any help would be AMAZING!!! Thank you in advance.
Can you get into APX mode? You may want to nvflash back to stock and try again.
Sometimes the tf not really shutdown, it just freeze in black screen when we thought it already shutdown. Undock it and plug in charger to see if it charging as it might be given up totally battery drained.

I have been unable to get the unit into APX mode... when I plug it into the PC it recognizes it as a generic device but I can't do anything with it other than eject it.
I've heard about the "deep sleep" issue and I was really hoping it was something simple like that. I've left it plugged in over night and it still won't respond to anything.
Is this thing bricked? I'm used to troubleshooting issues with devices but typically if it can't even turn on there's not much that can be done. I'm fearing the WORST!!!

The battery might be drained after 2 days away. Try charge it individually first.
As the OP issue.. I fear it might be the display problem but you must be certain before judging it to hardware issue. Still best way is flashing it to stock via NVflash method when all the screen give is black. You can do it by just listening the connection sound on your PC and install the right driver for the APX to work.
new damages

It's a long history.
One day, my Moto G stop charging. He charge until 1%, then turn itself on, and when it was on, it wasn't charging. I thought that was a OS/software problem, but nothing was sloving. I send to warranty and there they send me back saying that a piece was oxidated and was my fault, so they can't help me. When the cellphone arrive back, it was charging normaly. I really doesn't understand. But my PC wasn't showing the smartphone when plugged in the USB port. I started to use AirDroid.
I have a little struggle to update to Android 4.4.2 but I did it. The smartphone was really weird, but I let it go. Now I have the most annoying problem. It keep turning off by itself. I don't know if is software/OS, hardware, some app, something I'm doing wrong, but it's driving me crazy.
Please guys, help =[
P.S.: Sorry my bad english.
I had same issue where it turned off on its own and wouldn't charge. I plug cable to wall charger and held power button for 1 minute nothing happened so I kept pressing power button repeatedly until it vibrated and started charging.

So, it's charging normally now, but it keeps turning off itself. Another annoying problems is that it turn itself on when I connect it in the USB port on my PC, but not when I plug on wall charger.
Sorry for the double post, but I'm don't know what to do anymore! Please, someone help me! Any ideas!
Try this
Plug it in
Hold power button for 2-3 mins
Leave it charging for an hour then unplug
Hold power button for 30 seconds it should vibrate and boot

I guess you missing the point: I CAN charge and I CAN turn it on. The problem is that the cellphone keeps turning itself off at random. Random time, in random activites.

Hi are you able to connect the phone to a PC? If so I would transfer important data and then do a factory reset to see if that solves your issue sounds more like a software problem to me.
Already did a Factory Reset (the one in Configuration, the one the Fastboot just normally boot the device) and the problem persist.
So no one can help me? =[

does the phone fades purple then goes crazy then shuts down for a while then turns back on?
It did it when I did something different, trying to turning on or recovery, I don't really remember. I remember that I freaked out, because the screen was black, without changing, than I did a reset (Power + Volume Up) and then it reseted.
You already try charging with wall charger? Maybe your PC don't have enough power to recharge this phone
I was able to charge the phone, Anyway, the device stopped to turning off alone. By itself. I didn't do anything different.
I'm so confused.
Something is shorting out inside, probably due to the said oxidation, which will most likely result in such behavior.
If you know how to do it, just open the phone, take the pcb out and clean it well with a dry contract cleaner and a hard toothbrush to remove any oxidation and possible residue.
Later I was thinking that could be it. So if anything goes wrong, I'll do it or ask to someone with a little more experience to do for me.
Thanks.

Some Moto G's do turn themselves ON when you plug in a charger, I have 2 and both do it - you connect the phone when it is turned OFF and then it turns itself on! Sometimes if I plug in the charger and turn OFF the phone quickly it stays off.
It's a bug / feature / quirk but it's unfortunately normal so you can discount that as being a problem related to your other problem.

I'm having this exact problem too. The phone is less than a month old. Twice this week its happened. Phone was close to fully charged on going to bed, I still checked some emails while it was plugged in.. the charging symbol was also on, so I know it was charging ok when I put it down... then in the morning, wake up, phone is off, but the battery display is showing 100% (The big one shown on screen when it is turned off)
Potentially if I was only using my phone as an alarm, I'd have not woken up. I always use a backup, but now this Moto G worries me!
Seems a few people are having this issue!
So I was hanging out on my phone one day and it started freezing, I had this ROM for about 2 months and my phone shut down as it always used to do. Problem I was never able to power it back on. I've been to different mobile services but no-one could help me. The only life sign my phone gives is when I plug it in the LED light shows as it was mid-charge like a yellow-green light. Other than that, no vibration ever, the computer never recognizes it and only makes sounds randomly when I plug it in. I was hoping it wasn't a hard brick since it happened long after I installed the ROM and it happened all of a sudden like that. Please share your knowledge with me if you have something I can know it would help so I can stop trying.
Hey all,
I have a very odd problem with my old P500 I am trying to get running again. Almost all the time the phone wont turn on. I have tried removing the battery and leaving it, plugging it in both with and without the battery, trying various different reset combos with and without power or battery in the phone, nothing will work. Usually. Then sometimes the phone just turns on. When it does work, its great. All until you turn it off again. As soon as you turn it off, its a guarantee it's not coming back on for a while again.
I cant seem to work out any rhyme or reason as to what will let it turn on either. I have had it turn on sometimes on a charger with no battery, sometimes charger and battery, and sometimes just on battery without a charger. Like I mentioned, when it works and will turn on everything works exactly as expected. I can't find anything software-wise that seems to indicate it wouldn't load. Just most of the time (upwards of 95% of the time or so?) it won't turn on at all. Hard reset combos etc have no effect on the phone, and it won't pull up on a computer in this state either. I bought another battery recently and tried that, as I had previously had a poor battery life from it, but that turned out to have no effect on the booting issue. The most recent time I was able to boot the phone I left it on and charging for a few hours and it finished completely charging the new battery, but on turning it off it wouldn't come on again as usual.
I am suspecting a hardware problem with the phone internally, although I am not really sure. Anyone else have any clue as to what I might try? If it is hardware-based, does anyone have a suggestion as to what part might cause it not to boot?
Thanks,
AsteroidWalnut
So, I was just browsing on my phone, as usual, when all of a sudden it made a loud beep then shut off. It tried to restart itself, but after the LG logo popped up, gray lines came up all over screen, like an old TV that wasn't getting enough reception, and it shut off again: for good. It will not even attempt to come back on or even boot into recovery. It's just completely dead. Plugging it into a charger makes no difference and neither does removing and reinserting the battery. It is rooted and unlocked, but I did that around six months ago. It is still running the stock ROM. I have never put a custom ROM on it. I have not done anything unusual with it. I've just been using it normally. I tried to Google what happened, but couldn't find ANYTHING. I'm praying it's the battery, but will have to order one from Amazon and wait as there's nowhere to get one in my rural area. Has anyone ever heard of this?? A very loud beep an then completely dying?? Please, please help!!!

It could be the battery. But sounds like your phone is dead.
