T95Z Plus - Black screen, unable to boot recovery mode - Android Stick & Console Computers General

Hi all,
Hoping you can help, I’ve got a T95Z Plus, whilst has power and looks like it boots up, it seems to be stuck on a black screen, when it does load the screen flickers constantly, making it unusable.
I have tried the following, with no success:
Toothpick in AV port to press reset button
Press power and volume down to
Load boot menu.
Used alternative hdmi and power lead.
Any other suggestions please?
Thanks,
Chris

is there anything i can do apart from send it bk
any help would be greatly appreciated

There should be some 2-button combination that will bring you to a recovery screen that will allow you to do a hard reset (factory reset). Usually, it is the Power button + another button.
It could be
Power + Vol Up
Power + Vol Down
Power + Home
One of these combinations will bring you to a screen with an Android with a red X. Depending on the Power + combination, press the second button again. For example, if Power + Home (in the case of my cheap China-made tablet), I see the Android with red X, I will need to press the Home button again to get to the screen from which I can select to do a factory reset.
Just be patient - sometimes the buttons are a bit sticky and the combinations may not seem to work, but perseverance will pay off.

Hipstreet Flare 2

Hi Guys,
The tablet will not load... After turning on power it gets to a logo screen and won't boot past it.... screen turns off then back to logo screen over and over...Wondering if anyone knows the key combinations to get into recovery mode to set the tablet back to factory?
I found online that it says power button and volume + but that's not working.. Any other ideas?
Model is hs-9DTB4-8GB

[Completed] icraig clp293 slimbook

i am having a problem my slim book model clp293 by icraig freezes at the loading screen after the blue screen. i power it off then hold the power button at turn on for 14 seconds and it will not bring up the menu where i can select a factory reset. unlike tablets you hold power button and volume up key to boot into the eset menu. slimbooks have no volume key. i am desperate. can anyone in simple terms explain how to get to it? i can not find the firmware package either online. i already called craig electronics they were no help. Thank you so much
Hi !
With the device powered on , hold the power button for 12 - 14 seconds until the recovery mode pops-up
There are some youtube videos around , check it out
Good luck !

unfortunately when it powers on it freezes at the boot screen and does not load to the main screen. even when it freezes i have done the holding of the power button and all it does is reset the unit, then goes back to the main blue screen. i have tried with the unit off holding the power button for 14 seconds and it does not bring up the back way to factory reset. not many videos on youtube for my model. just about to give up. thank you though for your reply.

Captiva Pad 10 3G Plus (tablet) stuck on boot-loop

Hello xda community,
I tried to install TWRP on a Captiva Pad 10 3G Plus. The installation failed, so I'm now stuck at a boot loop. As soon as the tablet is connected to a power source, it keeps restarting. I can only see the Android logo and after that the tablet turns black and the Android screen is shown again. This keeps going until the battery is empty.
All the phisical buttons seem to have no functions because the power button and the reset button can't turn the tablet off and pressing power together with volume (-) won't start the recovery mode.
Their support isnt very helpful, they only told me that power and volume - would normally start the recovery mode. Nevertheless I tried pressing power and volume (+) and power together with both volume buttons. But this didn't start the recovery mode as well.
I also tried to connect the tablet to my pc, but it disconnects too fast to use ASB.
Has anyone an idea what I can do to fix this?

Booting into Recovery

I raised this in another thread but think more people will see it here.
I have just received Android 11 on my N9860 (BRI and Snapdragon) and want to get into recovery to clear the cache. For the life of me, I cannot do it. I am using my AKG headphones plugged in to the USB port. I press and hold the volume up button then hold the power button. When are you supposed to release either of them? I have tried keeping hold of both, or releasing the power button at the first logo screen and all other options I can think of. After maybe 10 or 15 seconds there is a strong vibration and it then goes on to start normally, although it seems to start in flight mode for some reason and Nova is no longer my default launcher. What the h**l am I doing wrong? Google tells me some people with Android 11 and Snapdragon, the old method, without plugging into the USB, still works. Not for me.
I was just able to get to recovery using the below instructions on my Note 20 Ultra.
To boot into recovery mode, start by turning off your Galaxy Note 20. Once completely off, hold the volume up button and the power button until the Samsung logo appears. Let go of both buttons, and after a few seconds, a black screen with yellow and blue writing will appear.

Thanks but that wasn't working for me. I've just got it to work but for me I had to connect the phone to my computer before doing the buttons. Connecting my AKG earphones did not work. Maybe there's something wrong with them but they work as earphones so I don't know. I hope this may help someone else.
