Employee left, we're stuck with a Huawei P20 phone asking for a code. - General Topics

Hi,
Im working for a compagny where we are providing cellphones to the employee. This time it a Huawei P20 model. Employee left the compagny and this employee didnt give us the passcode. we're now stuck at the passcode screen and we cannot do nothing to factory reset the phone. Is there a solution we can do recover the phone and be able to use it again with a new employee?
thanks a lot

Hi there,
I think the best option you have here is to call back your employee in order to fix that, because Huawei blocked everything on their phones.

Year ago we had the same. It was mate10lite and security patches were not applied.
So, there bwas a YouTube video how to get pass it.
Included creating having shortcut maker in yahoo mail, while watching yt video (was a way to open some how to recover password) you could get in mail, open shortcut maker, skip to settings, disable security...
But that was lucky. As the user had not applied any updates.

Unblockable Iphone 5

Hello there! I've got an iPhone 5 which cannot be blocked thru "Find iPhone" service. It means that I can sign in icloud account, enable find iphone function and then simply flash it thru DFU, turn it on and pass activation without entering account data. No custom software or something. I just can tune it like new device or enter other apple id. I wonder how that could be possible?
I've wrote to Apple bug reporter six days ago but no reply for now.
I want Apple pay attention on that problem and give me reply.

So wait..... Are you saying that you had an iPhone with the "iCloud Lock" enabled on it (meaning you could ONLY enter the owners email & pass to continue the setup) and somehow managed to get around it with some sort of trick???

Tmobile S7 - SM-G930t FRP question/help pls

I have used this phone for 2 years. While the sale was going on I upgraded to the Note 8 and decided to give my daughter my S7. I set up the account with Family Lock and everything seemed fine, but it would never let me do anything. Even when I logged in as me! So I decided to just log in as me and remove all the family link bs. Well it wouldn't even let me add my account to the phone. At this point I should have called help, i know this. However I just deleted the family link which deleted my daughters email from even google services (she isn't old enough for an email so it just created a non-email type of google account).
So I go to reset the phone, but there's no options for resetting the phone. I have reset it 3 times in the past, I know what it looks like/how to do it. The option was NOT there. So I did the factory reset through the boot menu, and of course there's FRP. I've followed every youtube video, and many written out instructions. I did try Samsung but because my order from T-mobile doesn't have the IMEI on it, they won't repair it. *sigh* I even tried to use someone online to repair it via LOGmeIN but it was a scam.
Can someone help a computer nerd mom save her little girls phone?
Thanks in Advance

Don't hard reset your vivo

This is a warning for all who maybe thinking about hard resetting their phone.
Strangest thing happened to my vivo.
I hard reset my vivo and now I can't login to my Google account. Due to that I can't use the phone, it doesn't even load Google login screen for me to enter my credentials. It's essentially screwed.
Vivo can't help and have asked me to go to the nearest support centre, which is in Asia somewhere and I'm in the UK. I did tell them not possible so they apologised and said unable to help even though phone is aimed at international market.
I'd hold of buying vivo products in the future for now until they have support for Europe customers.
In recovery there is an option to download and flash the latest firmware
you can just go to setting and find account setting to add google account
then go to apkmirror to find play store apk, download it and install, done
It is advised to log out any google accounts and other proprietary apps that have security activations, like Mi Account in xiaomi devices, before you hard reset any phone.
On my xiaomi device when i reset 2 options apear, one is access wifi settings so i can enter my wifi, second is log in on my Mi Account after the first option, so i can unlock my device.
hope it helps.

That's the mistake I made, reset without logging out of my Google account.
Stuck on this screen
I assume this issue happen only on global version of Chinese phones that has Google play services and Play store pre installed out of box.
Because I've never had that kind of issue with Chinese version of Chinese phones.
BTW I'm waiting end of the week or earlier next week receive my Chinese version of Dual Display.

It's the dual display version not the regular Vivo Nex.
Perhaps he should change the title so not people get confused.

Yesterday I've hard reset my dual display Chinese version for the first time after purchasing 1.5 month ego and after installing manual play store/play services via Vivo store app everything worked as normal.
No any kind issue.
So problem you had its only occur on global version of the device.
So with Chinese version people won't have to worry of dealing with frustrated situation as you lived with global version with Google account login.

I have the chinese version and after reading this I made sure to sign out of my Google account and vivo account just to be safe before reset, thanks! The only problem I had after reset was that i could nt sign into my vivo account, I know my password as i use it all the time and it was working before the reset (whenever i made changes to some app vivo asks for password). I had to contact vivo through messenger and they reactivated my account ( for some reason it got suspended)

Locked out of S10e (too many pattern attempts) - BRICKED?

Asking for a friend - no really! His wife locked herself out of her S10e. Also forgot her google user name. Her recovery email is a yahoo email but she also set up 2 step verification so she needs to get into her phone to get the recovery email. So she can't factory reset the phone without her google account and she can't recover the google account info because of the 2 step verification on her Yahoo mail.
Verizon has been ZERO help as has Geek Squad and everyone else they have asked. They feel like the phone is now a very expensive paperweight. Does anyone know any thing they can do? She just got this phone and is pretty upset. :crying: Thanks in advance for any help!
Factory reset, or, return the device if possible. Tell them you are cancelling your cell phone service and going to the competitor.

You can put in Odin and install the factory software, but I don't think it will help if there is a FRP lock, because when you go to log into the phone on the factory reset startup, it will ask for your google account to proceed.
So, BTW, Odin is not the solution to FRP lock. If there is a solution, then you should not post it publicly because criminals will read this, even if it does help a couple innocents. Smart criminals will be able to find a way, but the majority of criminals will not be so smart, that's the reason they are thieves, because they are stupid morons with an 80 IQ and unable to get a real job because they are losers lowlife criminal scum. We don't want to give them a way to actually use a stolen phone..

P20 and frp issue

Hi all
I have a P20 pro that I got from three UK
After I upgraded my dvice I have the handset to my daughter.
Unfortunately she recently changed the password and could not remember it. We tried to recover it but again no joy.
We then reset the device but have hit the frp protection. When we try to use the use my Google account to recover the phone it has a pop up stating use the device owners details. I have tried numerous accounts. Tried to contact the customer service teams at 3 and haiwai but no joys.
Can anyone give me another option. I have proof of purchase etc and tried the work arounds on YouTube etc
Thanks
