So I've tried flashing all TWRP versions but it still stays on stock recovery. What I've noticed is whenever i try to boot to recovery it shows screen 'NO COMMAND' and when i enter recovery mode it's still stock...I've tried booting TWRP through fastboot too but it just boots to system...I have unlocked bootloader and did everything correctly but i still can't flash TWRP...did I do anything wrong?
EDIT: So all it took me was to enter command multiple times and it properly flashed...

hey guys when i try to boot into cwm my phone just restarts itself
i got the white htc screen with the red text but after that the phone reboots
Can you get into the bootloader and goto fastboot?
What I would do is "Clear Storage" from the bootloader, restart the bootloader and re-push CWM.img using fastboot in your Command Prompt.
brwetz,
I am having the same issue. I have tried to clear storage, and flashing a new recovery and am still stuck in a boot loop. Can someone please help me?
When you flashed a recovery have you flashed a ROM (even the stock one)? Or did you just write a new Recovery and try rebooting?
Hi, I have a unlocked HTC One Mini S-ON, not sure if root is still there.
I had it loaded with One-Hybrid-Rom, which used to work fine.
Whenever the phone runs out of battery and I recharge it, after trying to reboot, I always get bootloader.
I have to reboot boatloader 100 times before I finally get the HTC screen and the Rom boots up.
Once the rom is loaded, the phone works fine.
Also, in bootloader, I can NOT enter recovery. When I select "Recovery", it gets back to the same bootloader screen.
So I tried flashing the recovery partition with all kinds of versions of twrp and cwm.
The phone is perfectly connected with adb, fastboot. I use fastboot flash firmware to try and flash the recovery, but it ALWAYS gives me the same error, it is able to send the file to the phone perfectly, but when it starts writing I get "IMAGE UPDATE ERROR".
I have tried literally everything to get the recovery partition working again, but all fails.
As I said, once the phone is booted up, it is working fine...
Is there a fix for this issue? It is just impossible to reboot the phone 100 times before the rom loads.
Thanks a lot guys.

No one?
No-one willing to help me on an unflashable recovery partition?
Sometimes phone boots into modded OS and runs perfectly, but mostly (99 out of 100 times) it just reboots to bootloader,
unable to enter recovery.
When flashing recovery (I tried all possible recoveries) via fastboot, it connects, but then I get "Failed, image update error"..;
I would really like to use this phone again...
It is S-ON, Unlocked, Hboot-2.21
Thanks.
Hello guys.
Like the title says, I can't boot directly into recovery mode after flashing twrp. I know the combination for booting into recovery mode but it automatically forces it to boot normally. I have to power off my phone after it starts normally to boot into recovery mode. But the problem is that the twrp disappears after it starts normally after the flash because u have to get instantly into the recovery mode (I think.) so it doesn't reset.
Modelnumber: SM-A510F
It worked at first, but there was also a problem with the recovery system because it always showed "No Command". I didn't use the latest version of odin and twrp. I only followed a guide with download links for this model. The odin flash succeded btw. I hope for some help here.
Thanks.
I have flashed TWRP 3.3.1 successfully . after that I rebooted into TWRP and it does not enter its recovery UI. After that, I tried to reboot the phone but it goes to recover screen again without entering recovery UI. I can't open my phone now. please help.
At the beginning, after flashing the twrp it was showing only TWRP screen not the options. then i rebooted the system and the phone rebooted without any issue (till now, phone was ok). then I again flashed the twrp but it remained the same. after that i tried different command from the Powershell. (fastboot boot twrp.img) and it showed downloading. after waiting for 5 min, I just closed the PowerShell and tried to reboot. from that time I cannot boot my phone anymore. then i again flashed the recovery but could not boot the phone. when i triy to boot the phone it only shows the recovery screen. I've attached the commands that I used to flash TWRP. Please help me to solve the problem.

Have you tried booting the recovery by pressing Power + Vol up?

Now since you are bootlooping we would need to install MIUI back again, to do this download the MiFlash Tool and the fastboot ROM for the latest MIUI, now copy it's file path and paste in MiFlash Tool, also make sure it detects your phone, now in the bottom right corner there would be an option like flash_everything_except_internal (similar to this) so that the internal storage isn't erased, now flash the ROM and let the phone boot up atleast once.
Once that's done use this TWRP (https://forum.xda-developers.com/re...unofficial-twrp-3-3-1-proper-t3933531/page4), it has a fix for the encryption bug and won't lead to a bootloop (the password/code/pattern asked in it is the same as the phone's), now you have TWRP installed and running
Thanks for your support. I followed the instruction and bootup the phone. But I'm afraid of flashing TWRP ?
It worked. I installed TWRP without any issue . Thanks again ?
TWRP 3.3.1 has bug, reinstall TWRP 3.2.3 and boot to recovery and then reboot to system.

I have now flashed TWRP. But my phone isn't booting into TWRP recovery and the power button and volume UP button is booting the phone into MIUI recovery. Also when booting into the system, it's asking for a password when I had no passwords on the device. Will MiFlash Tool help in this case??

The password is on the phone lock screen? In that case your device must have got encrypted, you might have to format all partitions and then flash with Mi Flash.Do have a try with MiFlash first, might help if it's not encrypted. Also make sure you used the right commands to flash the recovery, and use OrangeFox or Peter's.
hey,
so I guess I made a major mistake. I wanted to flash twrp recovery with this ramdisk.img , it all worked fine, I could flash it and then I entered the recovery mode via adb with the command adb reboot recovery. The recovery mode twrp logo popped up and all I can see is the name teamwin and the project version, which says 3.2.1-0 btw and the names of the developers nothing more, the screen is frozen and I can't do anything else.
I tried to reboot into fastboot and bootloader with adb but all I does is, that the screen turns off then on and then it says "your device is booting now…" and it leads me back to the teamwin logo and freez again.
I can't do a normal reboot and I can't flash another .img recovery..
I hope someone can help me please..
There must be a way to get out of this.

Were you on android 9 or 8, prior to flashing twrp?
Android 9.1, however I did this but I could get back to eRecovery after I pressed the volume up key and on/off key several times. I normally rebooted my phone and now I can use it again ?
But its still frustrating that it didn't work
