Is GravityBox actually working for anyone? When I installed/enabled the Xposed module my phone went into a boot loop. Not too bad to recover from, but I don't really want to try it again unless someone can confirm it works on their OP7P. If it's working for you, which version/where did you install it from?

I really want to install Gravity Box on my phone but last time I did on my 6T, the exposed interferes with the Snapchat and I was banned for a day. Has anyone found work around for Snapchat with exposed installed? If yes, please let me know. Thanks.

Not to sure why this is happening.. I've installed everything correctly according to the threads for these apps.. I installed xposed, installed the framework.. rebooted.. then I installed gravity box and then try to activate it through the modules in xposed and I get that error.. anyone know why? and yes I am rooted. Lol I am using the LG Optimus L9(LGMS769) on v10f

I have a rooted nexus 5 running CM11. I kept getting this message before and I didn't know why so I posted here and someone told me to wipe my data so I did. That fixed the problem for about 2 weeks but it's back again. It happens so frequently now its very frustrating. It happens when I open an app, update an app or uninstall an app. Not every time but most frequently when updating. Why is this happening?! Please help and thanks in advance!
Just reflash your ROM or flash a different ROM and your problem should be fixed
Sent from my Nexus 5 using Tapatalk
Do you use Xposed or any theme mods? Probably something like that causing it.
As spinninbsod said, just dirty flash your ROM again or clean flash a new one.

Cool, just make sure none of the mods are trying to do the same thing, like change battery icon etc.
If you're reflashing ROM it also might be worth taking a fresh back up before reactivating Xposed, just to save reflashing if something ***** up again

Yes. I had like everything enabled. I changed things in the status and notification bar and I also did stuff to my lock screen and a few other tweaks.

You can change all that stuff in GravityBox and XGEL so might be best to just use those instead
Due to an update of an Xposed module, I had badly corrupted my systemui. The phone was totally unusable, and I could only press the OK button notifying the stopped event at startup.
Lucky me, I still had not updated to 4.4.3. Via Skipsoft Android Toolkit I updated to the last Android release, and my systemui got fixed. I did not choose to perform a complete wipe, so I actually maintained my previous apps. In relation to root, I did not loose it, but I had to reinstall SuperSU to get the non-official apps working again.
I hope this helps somebody else in my same condition, with no need to do a system wipe!
thank you. this helped me today.
woke up with the error. assuming its gravitybox and xblast causing an issue. will remove xblast.

Xposed does not actually "touch" or change SystemUI in any way. Xposed puts a couple of "files" in system which allows intercepted commands to be changed, without changing the actual code.
When you updated the ROM via a toolkit (PLEASE don't use toolkits by the way) you would have overwritten these Xposed files.
The simplest fix is to just remove the Xposed files

[Q] I need help with installing Xposed on my device

I want to install Xposed Framework on my Huawei G700 with root access. But when I install it, my phone needs to reboot and then Xposed Installer says: The latest version of Xposed is currently not active. Did you install the framework and reboot?
I did the steps, the install and the full reboot, not the soft reboot. I also checked if I have really root access, and I have, so no problem about that.
I also have installed all bundles and they are all active. So what do I need to do now to get Xposed Framework working correctly?

Nice to know. Too bad Huawei doesn't follow its GPL obligations and doesn't publish the sources, it would help.
My device is huawei y625 ana i installed flat colored statusbar and no changes on my statusbar.
Xstana is working
But i wanna colored statusbar ,anyone can help plz.
You must install Xposed version 2.5, and everything will work.Sometimes, some modules will not work unless you have the latest version, so in order to fix that, install older versions of the modules you want.

My phone is an 920I with the G920IDVU3EPC3.
I was thinking of installing Xposed, if I couldnt find any outher solution, but I dont know if it will give me the ability of enabling softkeys.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/xposed/unofficial-xposed-samsung-lollipop-t3180960
I have a 920F with dutch rom.
I had installed xposed too! But if you try to make the nav keys available in Xposed, it resulted me in bootloop
Please take care and make backups when you are messing with that option!

Dead end!
Anyone had luck enabling softkeys in Touchwiz Marshmallow?
Still waiting for solution. I had some floating 'softkey' apps installed but it doesnt compare with the real ones..:silly:
Smarttouch (Smart gesture)
For those who still suffering without the nav keys this app i find very good as a alternative.
With this app you can move from the floating dot on the screen in 4 directions including tap and double tap.
It works like a cursor button.
So you can redirect the gestures to home, back, menu and screen off (left, down, right, up)
I find it even easier than the nav keys since my thumb is around the floating button.
You can find it on Google playstore. Search for "Smart touch (Smart gesture)"
Good Luck!

also when you have a bootloop you can just instal the xposed uninstaller and you can boot your phone again!
dont know why this works with that app and not without that app
Sorry !

- Installed Marshmallow rom
-Install Good Lock
- Flash superuser and xposed
- Install xposed
- Install GravityBox
After that i checked soft buttons in settings somewhere and rebooted and i got softkeys on bottom of the screen. THis only worked when i had Good Lock installed when i deleted the app i got in bootloop.

By the way, the Smart Touch workaround is the best alternative right now. Thanks.

not sure tbh didden't test it out! i use pie control myself for the moment only didden't like the good lock ui
I have installed Good Lock, enabled navbar in Gravity Box, and the same problem - The system UI has stoped
Same here! SystemUI crashes. But I'm gonna try and mod SystemUI, and see if that helps.
EDIT! It Works! With Good Lock UI!
mine works without good lock but when i activate soft keys it mess it up with home screen , it makes them smaller , for now im using Simple Control , it works good even thought i would like to have system soft keys.

There is a module called Magisk Manager for recovery Mode(MM) and can remove particular module from twrp ternminal.
Else flash uninstall Magisk zip and completely remove Magisk and reinstall magisk again.
But bootloop with this module usually comes after removing the module. In that case u have to use the zip i provided.
Maybe goes without saying but remove any screen lock security before, I had to do a full reinstall
Well this mod works but has a few drawbacks as it fallows:
It tempers with the /system and any banking app won't work after install even with magisk hide.
No deepslepp so it drains a lot of battery.
The display menu in settings crashes
If you want to uninstall you have to remove module from magisk manager or from magisk manager for recovery, and install bootloop fix, same steps if it works or not on the version of oos you have installed
I've rebuilt the this awesome mod for the latest oos release 9.0.7, according to paphonb's github repo. The build include screen on/off animation and AOSP-style charging indication, and have a different magisk id so please uninstall previous AOD mods. Anyway here it is.
