I looked very very good and I couldn´t find it!
My phone is an 920I with the G920IDVU3EPC3.
I was thinking of installing Xposed, if I couldnt find any outher solution, but I dont know if it will give me the ability of enabling softkeys.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/xposed/unofficial-xposed-samsung-lollipop-t3180960

I have a 920F with dutch rom.
I had installed xposed too! But if you try to make the nav keys available in Xposed, it resulted me in bootloop
Please take care and make backups when you are messing with that option!

Well, I tried before see this message.....:crying:
Bootlooping...
Dead end!

Anyone had luck enabling softkeys in Touchwiz Marshmallow?

Still waiting for solution. I had some floating 'softkey' apps installed but it doesnt compare with the real ones..:silly:

Smarttouch (Smart gesture)
For those who still suffering without the nav keys this app i find very good as a alternative.
With this app you can move from the floating dot on the screen in 4 directions including tap and double tap.
It works like a cursor button.
So you can redirect the gestures to home, back, menu and screen off (left, down, right, up)
I find it even easier than the nav keys since my thumb is around the floating button.
You can find it on Google playstore. Search for "Smart touch (Smart gesture)"
Good Luck!

Sofkey enabler works for me (from play store) all you need is root running xtrestolite 2.4 G920I

It works on lolipop yes not on marshmallow!
but i tried some things, when i use xposed with good lock (the apk that changes the lockscreen and notifications) and use gravity box Xposed i can get the softkeys to work but without this app i get a bootloop!
also when you have a bootloop you can just instal the xposed uninstaller and you can boot your phone again!
dont know why this works with that app and not without that app

Sorry !
I haven't any idea about it.

So only with good lock app AND xposed gravity box apk you get softkeys to work in MM?
Could you share more precisely?

Yea that's all i did
- Installed Marshmallow rom
-Install Good Lock
- Flash superuser and xposed
- Install xposed
- Install GravityBox
After that i checked soft buttons in settings somewhere and rebooted and i got softkeys on bottom of the screen. THis only worked when i had Good Lock installed when i deleted the app i got in bootloop.

Well Do iI have to install Good Lock and enable it? Or Can I keep using the google Now Launcher?
By the way, the Smart Touch workaround is the best alternative right now. Thanks.

not sure tbh didden't test it out! i use pie control myself for the moment only didden't like the good lock ui

I have installed Good Lock, enabled navbar in Gravity Box, and the same problem - The system UI has stoped

Same here! SystemUI crashes. But I'm gonna try and mod SystemUI, and see if that helps.
EDIT! It Works! With Good Lock UI!

mine works without good lock but when i activate soft keys it mess it up with home screen , it makes them smaller , for now im using Simple Control , it works good even thought i would like to have system soft keys.

Xsposed warning

I thought I'd just stick this up here as a little warning to others. I have a N9005, stock rom but rooted with cf autoroot. Had phone a month with no issues what so ever, 3 days ago I decided to put xsposed on there and find some some modules. Before I found any I got a warning saying sd card umounted so decided to try sort that out. I then quickly found out the power button had gained a 5 second delay from press to any responses. Next the dialer keeps freezing and when I'm on a call the proximity sensor won't turn the screen back on for 10 seconds after I move phone away from my head. Most annoying of all is the clock app has just totally derpt. Got no alarm clock at all and clock widget keeps saying I'm in Israel!! The sd card seams to be totally dead as neither my sensation, G nexus or pc will read it now and my backups are on it so I guess today's job is finding stock rom and starting from scratch again.
All this may just only happen to me but I thought I'd put it out there as a little warning

I have been using xposed for about a month since i got my Note 3. Never had any issues. So this happened even before you installed any modules?
Well xposed had been known to be tricky. Most times it works, sometimes it messes up and sometimes it gets you into a boot loop.
Yeah, was scrolling through the modules to download when the sd warning came on and all the other problems have since followed. Just want to note that I haven't installed anything else since Xposed and had no issues before installing
You installed the latest xposed version right? The previous ones are not compatible with 4.3. I've been using it with no problems.

Yeah, the latest version. What is really confusing me is why it's getting my location as Israel constantly. Doesn't matter if I'm on wifi or 4G

The next logical question would be - Have you tried uninstalling it to see if the issues go away? If they do go away, try reinstalling it and see if you experience the same thing.
I've been using Xposed with the Wanam module and don't have any issues.
Have uninsulated. Made no difference. Factory reset made no difference either. Just had a full wipe and flashed clean stock rom. Will see how that does then will know if all is fixed
Ive had similar issues with xposed myself

Not all Xposed module is working in every phone.
You should name which Xposed framework module give you problem.
So far I using Xposed framework till now fine and not much issue.
I only use few module:
App Settings - 100% working.
Wanam Xposed - theming is working, hide smart stay, blocking mode and etc is working but not all example center clock not working since MJ6 firmware as it will give you FC after end call.
Instagram Downloader - 100% working.

It's simple. Your device is hacked by mossad.
Just to say, after a full wipe and clean flash back to stock rom all is normal again. I'm guessing just got unlucky with xposed this time. Not sure if I'll be in any rush to try again for a little while
I have xposed with a lot of modules, but xblast and 3 dot menu modules cause troubles, screen freezes and ui stops working
Mine, if this helps anyone (I've never had any problems):
App Settings
Boot Manager (Amazing)
Disable Clear Defaults Dialog
GravityBox (I disabled for messing something up - tread carefully)
GreenYoutube
NotificationMod
NotifyClean (Amazing)
Per App Hacking
Play Store Fixes
ReceiverStop (Amazing)
Tinted Status Bar (Great)
Wanam Exposed
XBatteryThemer
XBlast Tools (Great, but tread carefully)
XHaloFloatingWindow (I've not managed to get working)
Xposed Recent Tasks
What is the make of the SD card that failed? Was it SanDisk?

I have a rooted nexus 5 running CM11. I kept getting this message before and I didn't know why so I posted here and someone told me to wipe my data so I did. That fixed the problem for about 2 weeks but it's back again. It happens so frequently now its very frustrating. It happens when I open an app, update an app or uninstall an app. Not every time but most frequently when updating. Why is this happening?! Please help and thanks in advance!
Just reflash your ROM or flash a different ROM and your problem should be fixed
Sent from my Nexus 5 using Tapatalk
Do you use Xposed or any theme mods? Probably something like that causing it.
As spinninbsod said, just dirty flash your ROM again or clean flash a new one.

Cool, just make sure none of the mods are trying to do the same thing, like change battery icon etc.
If you're reflashing ROM it also might be worth taking a fresh back up before reactivating Xposed, just to save reflashing if something ***** up again

You can change all that stuff in GravityBox and XGEL so might be best to just use those instead
Due to an update of an Xposed module, I had badly corrupted my systemui. The phone was totally unusable, and I could only press the OK button notifying the stopped event at startup.
Lucky me, I still had not updated to 4.4.3. Via Skipsoft Android Toolkit I updated to the last Android release, and my systemui got fixed. I did not choose to perform a complete wipe, so I actually maintained my previous apps. In relation to root, I did not loose it, but I had to reinstall SuperSU to get the non-official apps working again.
I hope this helps somebody else in my same condition, with no need to do a system wipe!
thank you. this helped me today.
woke up with the error. assuming its gravitybox and xblast causing an issue. will remove xblast.

Xposed does not actually "touch" or change SystemUI in any way. Xposed puts a couple of "files" in system which allows intercepted commands to be changed, without changing the actual code.
When you updated the ROM via a toolkit (PLEASE don't use toolkits by the way) you would have overwritten these Xposed files.
The simplest fix is to just remove the Xposed files

Rooted Nexus not starting

Hey,
I've got a rooted Nexus which won't start anymore. It has been rooted for months and everything worked fine so far. I've installed a lot of root apps like the Xposed Framework, Titanium Backup and App Ops. The last Rom I had on it was the Stock Android 4.4.3. After running without any problems and me making no modifications, suddenly it stopped working. First, the System UI kept crashing after max. 1 second of running. Now, it won't even get past the boot screen. I think, it is a problem with a Xposed Framework module of which I have a lot installed (I remember XBlast, GravityBox and Wanam but there were more (propably around 10). Is there a way to disable the Xposed modules? Another problem is, that I don't know, if I accidently updated to KitKat 4.4.4 what could've caused those problems.
I hope, you can help me.

You can repetitively press the volume keys during boot and eventually it'll vibrate every time you do. What it does is add a folder "disabled" in Xposed's data and disables it. No need to push and flash lol. Was implemented a while ago as an easier alternative

I tried that several times now and it doesn't seem to work. During boot, i repetitively pressed the volume keys as you told me until it vibrated a bit. Then, the boot took a lot longer than usual but it didn't change anything - the com.android.systemui process is still crashing.

Ok, it seems I did the button pressing the wrong way. After looking at the thread posted by rootSU and especially at this post I was able to do it (I pressed both volume buttons repetitively instead of just one). So, now I was able to boot the Nexus - what next?
Disable all your modules and re-enable Xposed with the instructions of that post. Reboot to see if its Xposed itself causing the issue. If it boots up then enable them one by one and reboot each time. One will be the culprit.

[Q] broken One-Hand-Mode swipe-navbar, any fix? [SOLVED]

Hi all!
suddenly the swipe left or right gesture on navbar broke, my screen does not resize anymore =(
i think it just happened after i downloaded a navbar related playstore app to change icons etc in navbar or view visuals in it.
i deinstalled the app later and then the gesture for one-hand-mode was broken i think.
i tried to fix it like in this video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WFQt22hNG3Q
smthng like: activate magnifying glass, use it, deactivate it, one-hand-mode should work. it do not work.

yea, before i unlocked bootloader and installed magisk i was on pure stock and installed this app: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.perfectapps.muviz
after i used it, took some settings, deinstalled it my mini-view was broken.. then i made factory reset and all was good again...
but now i have magisk and applied all my app and userdata backups from old phone.
... in the next days i try to flash system only and try to inform myself (and you ofcause) if flashing system partition will harm in any kind my files, settings, etc.
thanks guys so far.
maybe there is some other trick to bring this function back

so, i managed to get myself to the "mini-view option screen" by entering the (from playstore downloaded) activity manager and there i startet the correct activity.
since my could not find this point in my settings i had to go that way.
see screenshot.
http://imgur.com/Q1Mxq42
so the function was enabled, is disabled and re-enabled it. nothing. still no swipe for mini-view
disable it, restart, enable, restart still does not work....
is there a way to find out why this is like that?
can someone maybe check the code, what this switch actually do to a system file, so maybe i can take a look inside mine and change -a number for example- by myself?
reflash anything to my phone is the last way i guess... that cant be the only option.

so, i managed to get myself to the "mini-view option screen" by entering the (from playstore downloaded) activity manager and there i startet the correct activity.
since my could not find this point in my settings i had to go that way.
see screenshot.

so the function was enabled, is disabled and re-enabled it. nothing. still no swipe for mini-view
disable it, restart, enable, restart still does not work....
is there a way to find out why this is like that?
can someone maybe check the code, what this switch actually do to a system file, so maybe i can take a look inside mine and change -a number for example- by myself?

U can do that easily by swiping on middle button to recents button on navigation bar. Works on both sides.

He mentioned that it's stuck (meaning swiping doesn't work for him)
But does the touch work on navigation bar?

the touch works without problems.
i just think that the navbar-app i installed earlier somehow broke this feature for me.
i dont want to say "please guys (n girls) try this on your honor 8 and see if it breaks the feature on your phone, too."
i think the app changed some settings which were accessible without root-permissions and my honor 8 can't change these settings back...
but if someone maybe plans to backup his/her system.img and is free to try the app and if it breaks this feature it maybe help.
so that i can say if it is really the app fault.
maybe someone knows the file in the phone where the variables for the mini-view are stored to change/check it all manually?!
thanks so far
new info:
i extracted system.img from latest update.zip (update.app) and flashed it via twrp. after that i wiped dalvic and cache and booted the phone.
mhm.. nothing changed =/
all settings stayed the same, swipe to mini-view still not working....
anyone know in which partition the systemsettings are stored ?
I don't know in which partition they are.
I'll search
[problem solved]
problem solved!
i just got into
Settings>
advanced settings>
restore/backup>
reset all settings
not the nice way i guess, but it did the trick and now i'm able again to use mini-view (and have the slider back in settings again)

Is GravityBox actually working for anyone? When I installed/enabled the Xposed module my phone went into a boot loop. Not too bad to recover from, but I don't really want to try it again unless someone can confirm it works on their OP7P. If it's working for you, which version/where did you install it from?

For themes, Substratum will install a magisk module if it finds it.

cant get lockscreen rotate to work in gravitybox. really the only think I installed it for.
does anyone know of a volume button reorientation module until we get custom roms with it?
I really want to install Gravity Box on my phone but last time I did on my 6T, the exposed interferes with the Snapchat and I was banned for a day. Has anyone found work around for Snapchat with exposed installed? If yes, please let me know. Thanks.
