There is a module called Magisk Manager for recovery Mode(MM) and can remove particular module from twrp ternminal.
Else flash uninstall Magisk zip and completely remove Magisk and reinstall magisk again.
But bootloop with this module usually comes after removing the module. In that case u have to use the zip i provided.
Maybe goes without saying but remove any screen lock security before, I had to do a full reinstall
Well this mod works but has a few drawbacks as it fallows:
It tempers with the /system and any banking app won't work after install even with magisk hide.
No deepslepp so it drains a lot of battery.
The display menu in settings crashes
If you want to uninstall you have to remove module from magisk manager or from magisk manager for recovery, and install bootloop fix, same steps if it works or not on the version of oos you have installed
I've rebuilt the this awesome mod for the latest oos release 9.0.7, according to paphonb's github repo. The build include screen on/off animation and AOSP-style charging indication, and have a different magisk id so please uninstall previous AOD mods. Anyway here it is.

Hey all,
Sorry if this has been covered elsewhere - I've searched a fair bit but found no definitive explanation..
Anyways I've installed viper4android 2.5.0.5 via magisk and it works initially. But soon enough it stops (processing=no)
I think I may need to flash it via twrp but I'm not sure ?
Has anyone got viper4android working on OP6 OOS 5.1.8? If so how?
Thanks!
Viper4Android works very good for me. Sometimes I have to reestablish a Bluetooth connection again as at the first connection no processing is active but in general viper works good.
I use the original Magisk module in the current version 1.6.9 and in addition "Audio Compatibility Patch"-Module in version 1.4.4.
I think this is all you need.
Just reboot.

Thanks! I've installed this module and reinstalled viper4android afterwards. It's working again, but it always does after reinstalling. Hopefully it continues too. I'll update you guys!
I think the order of installation is important:
first viper and afterwards the audio compatibility module.
If your flash viper two times in a row it deinstalls itself (if I remember it correctly).
But I think you get it.

Viper (as magisk module) works flawlessly also without the audio compatibility module for me; on spotify, soundcloud, power amp. Don´t know exactly, what the module is needed for. If "processing" says "no", clearing app data (and maybe reboot) helps - in worst case reinstalling the viper module.

Which viper version and options are you using in magisk?
I've tried audio compatibility module but no help there. I turned on fx compatible mode in viper and that gets it to work and stay working!
However it silences my alarms. Which isn't ideal ?

I suppose a custom rom is one way to solve it. I'd prefer OOS but...
Can anyone who's managed to get it working on stock OOS share with me the steps they took?
Hey man - I have it going on stock 5.1.8, I had problems with one of the modules in magisk, am using this one now after removing the old one - works well.
I am on OOS5.18 and used the version "Viper4Android FC Magisk V15", and I flashed it via TWRP.
But the "Proccesing" mode switches to "Off" after a while (5-10 min.). It is not consistent, you have to reboot, which makes no sense for me to reboot 10 times per day. There must be a different way to install it.....?????!!!!

This is weird... I don't understand why it would work for some people and not others...
I've been using the v4a material version from magisk, and it works great. I had to install the audio compatibility patch along with the audio modification library in order to get certain streaming apps to work correctly. You need to install the audio modification library if you install v4a and the audio compatibility patch.

I've updated my OP6 to latest OOS with Android P.
Everything are ok but i cannot find setting for reboot option. In previous OOS, when i press reboot, there're more reboot options for Recovery or Bootload..
And screen brightness is darker, in previous OOS i just need to use 50% of brightness, but now i have to slide to 85%
1. yes, boot menu have shrunk for some reason.
2. brightness bar have just reworked a little bit, not a big deal though.

Google has never supported those extra boot options.
You have to be rooted and have a rom that does.
Alternatively, you need to be rooted and use an app that does it.

My understanding is that pie doesn't require wiping cache.
U can ckear the cache from individual apps.

I'm using mi5s and feel like want to pull trigger on this mix3. I know right now there still no global rom or aosp/los support as yet, but soon there will be.
The question is, if i buy the china version can i flash with global rom when it release?
Also, once aosp/los available, will it be a problem to flash on unlocked china also?

I think you can flash them after bootloader unlock.
I'm using Pixel Experience GSI and it's working well, though I had to add some patch for MIX 3.

I'll make pull request when I can finish tweaking for auto brightness (stock is too bright...)

you have to manually change the settings to make notifications appear. Goto Settings/Installed Apps/ and click on each app you need notifications from. When you click on the App, ensure "Autostart" is enabled and click on permissions and allow the settings you see fit. After that you may have to back out once and modify the battery saver settings. I'm not sure if restarting your device is necessary after you modify the settings

A bit off-topic, but do you experience issues on your GSI installation? E.g. you're able to receive SMS when LTE is on or you could use contactless payments on Google Pay?
Maybe I've been having bad luck with terminals but I couldn't get Pay to trigger payment on a few stores I've tried. NFC by itself works, and using an NFC reader app with my other phone it triggers just fine.

hi guys now you can install last version miui 12 eu version on your device miui 12 is much faster and battery life is better of other miui versions

The developer (ingbrzy) stated that if you want to upgrade to this rom "Update to MIUI 12. You have to install this update MANUALLY - OTA from MIUI 11 will not work."
MIUI 12
Ok, my way=
1. Download the ROM
2. Start MIUI Update
3. Select the ROM manuall
4. It reboot to Twrp 3.1.1-7
5. Finish the Install with no Error
6. Reboot to System ends with newstart to Twrp.
No, you need to boot to TWRP only. In there, select the downloaded zip file unser "install". As mentioned, updating through the system settings option wont work.
MIUI 12
Ok, thanks !

I had already tried Magisk, not worked. It look like some issue with EU rom as I observed few other ppl also posted the same issue in EU site. By the way I am using Jio simcard in 1st slot, I use only one sim. Earlier when I was using MIUI11, it was working good. After updating MIUI12 beta version started this problem.
I have one more surprize with this ROM, there is no option to restore the backup. We can only take backup but we cant restore. This is really very strange.
I updated to the new OOS 11 via the Oxygen updater app and all is fine except safety net fails. I have an unlocked boot loader and coming from root, but I just wanted to try this out and don't care about having a rooted device at the moment, so I upgraded without doing anything else, but now safety net fails. And stuff like google pay doesn't work now.
Does anyone know how to fix safety net?

Well, Magisk is for obtaining root, if you don't have root then why would you need to "hide" root that you haven't applied?
If you're asking about the bootloader then the only thing you could do is to lock it again, which will wipe your storage so make sure you back up
I'm on OB4 with lastest magisk canary without problems, try using it and enable magisk hide option and if problem persist enable magisk hide por Google play services and wipe playstore data.
