Issues running The walking dead: Road to survival - Asus Transformer TF700

So I decided to upgrade the custom ROM for the TF700t to the KATKISS 7.1 Rom. I followed the instructions exactly and had no issues getting to a working tablet. I decided that I wanted to install walking dead since it is hard to see and read everything on a small galaxy s7 screen. After installing the game and start the demo it plays like a stop motion animation movie. I can't seem to figure out what the cause is. Any suggestions or help would be grateful.

If it's any consolation, you're not alone. There was a mention of that symptom before, and I've had it happen to my tablet recently as well. I notice that it tends to happen when I have the tablet warm (due to around 15mins of gaming).
It's definitely not about Tegra compatibility, as it happens on Heroes Call (a game designed specifically for Tegra3). I think it might just be (unfortunately) another Acer software flaw.
Maybe acer will do some patch / fix for us in nearest future
I also hope they patch the screen responsiveness, and the heat, and occasional app crashes...
Same problems, but not so frequently happen. There're about 10 times in total during my 4-month use. ( it just happened in big games)
Try to update to the latest firmware and do a factory reset, that may help.

I'm actually anxiously waiting for new firmware, there's still none for us WW gen users though, we're still at 1073.
Are you rooted btw?
The same symptom. Temporary help cleaning the cache ...
If you are using hacked games, you may blame the cache is not on your version of the device.
thx i try cleac cache at home after work
but this symptoms it's not always after heating device. I was try launch nova 3 and when the game started (real game not intro or menu) screen crashed (shaking and freezing). Maybe when Acer give us Jelly Bean update it will fix this problem
about root, i'm not rooting iconia yet, but i think i do that. Btw it's possible to unroot deveice after this operation?

(Assuming that you will use the popular mempodroid exploit) Yes, you may follow the unroot steps in post #2 here:
http://www.acertabletforum.com/foru...ing-rooting-iconia-a100-made-easy-method.html
Note that some directories are slightly different (e.g. su would be in the 1st mentioned directory and busybox is in the second, etc.)
(The mempodroid exploit is the same root method used in A100, that's why we have the same root/unroot method.)

new transformer pad. very slow

Just bought the transformer today. It has jb preloaded. It was extremely laggy. Google search took several seconds to start etc. I returned it and got a new one. It's currently charging so I haven't set it up. Is this a common problem or did I just get a lemon? Thanks

i only had the stock rom for a few hours but as i recall it wasnt real slow. but i can attest to the fact that this tablet runs twice as well on clean rom 3.0.3
well this 2nd one is just as laggy. I can't believe I'm about to say this, but the Kindle Fire HD 8.9 I returned in favor of this was faster.
Try doing a factory reset. See if that makes it better. Also, the pad suffers from a bad I/O. Currently the only way to make it fly is unlocking and installing custom ROMs and kernels.
I'm seeing blank pages with "loading" written on them in google play books.
So, this thing is unusable unless I root/rom?

Well tbh ive never owned a android, apple or windows device i didnt customize, overclock, ect. It just makes for a better machine. But in this case if you have done the jelly bean update keep in mind you WILL lose your warranty when you unlock your bootloader. Good luck man.

Oh I'm no stranger to ROMS or rooting, and this thing came with Jellybean. I've just never seen something be so unusable out of the box.
Did you try factory reset?
Yes. No difference.
It sucks to hear its not running smoothly man! maybe it has to deal with a hw problem itself? i was between buying a kindle fire, a nexus 10 and this tablet, im not new to flashing and such either, my tablet came with stock jellybean, it ran smoothly since the first boot!, i unlocked it for the fun of it but I had no need, im very happy with the tablet.
maybe you should return it or try another one? maybe theres a problem with the one you got
I've not installed any custom roms, so I don't have them to compare it to, though stock rom seems to work smoothly for myself. I don't find it lagging or slow, so maybe a fresh install will help?
The only other device I use that has Android is a Galaxy S2 and the Asus TF300 feels much quicker and responsive.

[Q] Adobe Flash for Samsung Galaxy Ace S5830 - how to install

Hi,
I hope I am in the right forum here. If not pardon me please since this is my first time on this site.
Here is the issue at hand...,
I just got my girlfriend the Samsung Galaxy Ace S5830 as a Christmas present.
I set it up for her since it was her first smartphone and it's all fine and good now.
However, there is a little problem.
I can't find a working Adobe Flash player on "Google Play" since it seems that Adobe has pulled the plug on that darn thing. Beats the heck out of me as to why they would do this but from what I could read on the internet it happened around August 2012 and now this thing isn't any longer supported for the Ace and some other devices.
Now the question is..., how do I get this downloaded and working on the Ace without having to do the whole circus with changing to custom ROM etc...? I would like to keep the original OS due to possible issues with the seller and the warranty (there is already one problem which is a faulty proximity sensor that actually has to be fixed under that warranty).
I am looking for a simple and clean install here. I don't have a problem with the security of the older Flash Player if anybody should ever wonder. I'll take this as a calculated risk (it's a girl's phone so I don't think it will ever wander to the darker corners of the internet, let alone that she knows how to get there).
So if there is anybody out there with a good idea - no matter how small or big - shoot right from the hip.
Thanks in advance for your time and kind help...!
PS. I stumbled upon this website which lists a solution for this issue but am uncomfortable with downloading stuff like this directly from some page I don't know nothing about nor what the apk consists of. Might be serious though but have no clue. Anybody with some input on this one?

need some help with my tf101

Hey, I've been doing some digging and I need some help fixing my tf101. I've looked through a few threads and i'm not sure where to go next.
A few weeks ago I followed the instructions found here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/eee-pad-transformer/development/rom-t2942560[1][2][2] to upgrade my tablet with the katkiss rom.
To do this I found out that I have to install TWRP v2.8.1.1 so i did. Well heres where i'm kinda screwed; my tablets touch screen doesn't work in TWRP. I've tried using the volume buttons but they dont do anything. The only button that works is the power button which locks the screen.
The tablet gets into the build of kat kiss that I had installed previously (4.3) but I've got 0 apps installed. No store, no file browser no nothing which kills the idea of putting the APK files on the tablet to run.
I'm not sure what to do next to get this tablet up and running again, but I'm in a crunch for time and need to figure something out before Friday as I'm moving over the weekend and wont really have a lot of access to a computer to work on this with for about a month.
I've spent the last few days trying to figure this out and have more or less come up blank. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
I'm stupid. I fixed it. Followed instructions here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1681155
You guys are the best!

Unlock Apps in Play Store

Hey guys, i really need your help. Hope this is the right subforum, but I thought with needed help / a question, I'm pretty ok in here.
So whats the problem... It might sound pretty easy just from the title, it actually isnt..
So what exactly I want access too?
I think you guys all know Pokemon GO... I'm from germany, so I had do take the APK. The problem about this was, my phone is a Galaxy S3, so Android 4.3 cap.
Long story short, i rooted it and flashed cyanogenmod on it, so i have 4.4.4, even changed the Kernel so it can run smooth.
And it did worked out. So the last days i was playing Pokemon go all day long and was having fun.
Now the problem:
Today, Pokemon GO came out to the Android App Store, and I want access to the regular download with updated coming in frequently, without installing every update manually (ok to be honest, I think all this took me much more time then I ever would need to download and install all future updates of this game, but I am pretty lazy)..
The App Store just tells me I dont have access to it with my device.. So I googled again for hours..
I used Market Helper and hoped I get access.. nope.. I changed the build.prop so my phone now "is a galaxy s5".. doesnt work either.. and yes, i deteled cache and files frequently, restarted the phone..
So right now I'm desperate and have no idea how to fix this problem. I hoped someone in here has had the same problem or knows how to fix it..
I'm looking forward to your help and thanks for just reading about my problem.
Cheers
I feel your pain.
Having exacty the same problem. Even tried market helper. Btw, I am running the s3 with the newest cyanogen nightly (1 week old) and Android 6.0.1.
Maybe the playstore checks for stuff like available ram, and that is the reason why it is not working. Our phone only has <1GB and the game wants phones with >2GB as far as I know.
