Alright, did anyone else get an international processing fee when they ordered their 7 Pro? I'm in the USA and I placed my order from OnePlus.com, and I woke up to a fee of $14.23 ON TOP of the price if a 12GB 7 Pro -,- anyone else or did I get a charge for no reason?
tax? I didn't get any add on fee. I am in Fl.
Michigan here- no additional fees. I got 8/256 and paid for $10 faster processing/shipping $709 exactly.
Maryland, no tax or fees on mine either.

Wow that infuriates me. Could not got that fee waived no matter who I called! Let's take this a step further. You're all in the USA. Anyone here use usbank?
No I do not use usbank
I did get notice of possible fraud though due to charge from Hong Kong Bank or whatever it was... Just had to reply/confirm it was valid and it went through.

Nah I use pay pal which had my American Express card linked. American Express doubles all electronic manufactures warranties and if I had to return the phone to OnePlus American Express refunds the restocking fees and they don't let the seller charge that to the customer. Amex goes after the restocking fee for themselves. That and the best fraud protection of any credit card out there, I only use Amex for all online purchases except Amazon, I use my Amazon card for the points on Amazon.
I had an extra$250 on my op7pro

Blame Trump, it's probably Tariff related.
Don't know about USA, but it happens in Europe too. Most banks have special fees when buying something outside EU and/or in other currency. In this case I have been hit with 20€, or so, in the past because they process the payments in Hong Kong which sucks.
But we can avoid that by using PayPal or Revolut or something like that.
I haven't seen anything like that, also from the US. Which bank did you use?

I use US Bank, but my card would not even go through, presumably due to suspected fraud due to the vendors location (Hong Kong).
I ended up using Paypal, and they did not charge me any kind of fees. No international processing fee, or even tax.

To clarify, I have a credit card with USBank, that was not accepted. So I then used PayPay, which is linked to a (different) local bank.
It should say right on your account history, whether it is OnePlus (or Paypal) charging the international fee; or if it is just listed as a fee, then it's USBank charging it. My guess is that it is the bank charging the fee, as nobody else seems to be having this problem (not a fee that OnePlus charges).

Yeah I made some more calls today, and it WAS USbank that charged the fee. The first banker told me it was OnePlus, and the second one I spoke to told me it's a federal law..... Which obviously isn't true seeing as nobody else in this thread got the fee. But aw well, gotta bite the bullet I guess...... On the bright side, my 12GB 7 Pro will be delivered to me on Friday! I'm excited! [emoji16]

I'm thinking of jumping on the wagon and was wondering if you guys would kindly share how much you paid for your Fuze, I have been asking several stores and even with premier account the price is 299.99 after rebate with 2yr contract (plus some upgrade fee and of course sales tax) in total would be close to 400.
Please let me know if and how you could get it for less than what I was quoted for. And is there any official statements from AT&T that lists benefits of having premier account?
Thanks
I was 269 out the door with a 50 mail in rebate i think he messed up (I am not premier that I know of)
http://mangledpoly.com/fuzePrice.jpg
i started a new 2 year contract, was leaving tmo for att.
its 369.99 if you get it bundled with the car charger, case, bluetooth headset, and maybe some more trinkets i don't remember.
then its 349.99 if you leave all that off.
then -50 with the text or data or something like that rebates...

he definitely messed up...but good for you though~
also, i got it for ~440 aftertax before mail-in rebate. I was only able to get an "early upgrade" with $75 off retail price. Manager was nice enough to waive the $18 upgrade fee for me though. Every bit counts
Bah. Lucky dude who's rep marked it down $100. Where do you live? lol
I was unlucky =/ tax was a lil over 8%!!! :O
Came out to $391 before rebate T.T I'm a return it and see if I can buy it from a city that has less tax.
Baught it online @ Premier for $388 Including $18 upgrade fee..I also think tax came around to $24.
Shipping was Fedex 2day for free. Doubt I will get it this week though.

really!? gas is going to cost you more than that tax difference, unless you live near border of WA and OR, then i'd see a reason to do that.
Mine was $367 shipped from AT&T Premier site. There was no upgrade fee, and then I have the $50 rebate to add to it. Bought it this morning, it shipped out this afternoon - comes in on Thursday!! I waited over 2 months to upgrade my phone as I wanted this, or the Sony X1. I couldn't wait any longer, so I gave into this phone. I can't wait.

I think a ~1-1.5% difference would make me drive. Besides, if it's in the way to work, it doesn't matter right?
Mine was $259.99 before the $50.00 MIR. I went into a corporate store in Kansas City Area, and was told they were discounting it $100.00. I asked why and was told: "I am not sure, perhaps revenue or longevity". I didn't ask any more questions and certainly didn't want them to reconsider.

AT&T Authorized Dealer...
Hey all,
I stopped by on Monday afternoon at an AT&T authorized dealer in Pembroke Pines, FL (South Florida). They had the only gotten in one fuze that afternoon which they sold me.
They charged me $300 plus tax, so it was $318 total, plus the $50 rebate when I send it in.
Not quite as good as $269 before rebate, but I didn't want to say otherwise either when they quoted me that price.
mine came out to 387 after taxes and now i gotta mail off the $50 rebate
I paid 349.99 + 24.15 tax = 374.14 - 50.00 rebate = 324.14
I want the 100.00 discount some of you got. I wonder if I call and complain if they will credit me? I love complaining.
just ordered mine about 2hrs ago off the at&t wireless website.
$374.49 w/ 2yr agreement ( contract renewal )
kept my unlimited data plan and unlimited txt.

I just re-uped my account and purchased the Fuze for $299 online befor rebate. Total came to $327. I'm not really worried about the rebate at this point. Just received the tracking info and it will be here Thursday the 13th.
Hi,
Wondering if there are any other members out there who are importing the T-mobile Sensation 4G into Canada?
Maybe we can share our experiences and figure out the best options.
The device will have to be sim unlocked, thus far there has been only one confirmed site to have working unlock codes.
http://www.unlock-network.com/
Lowest price online is $579.50, but still in pre-order state. I am assuming that will change on the official release date of 06/15
http://negrielectronics.com/htc-sensation-4g-t-mobile-unlocked.html
I have never dealt with them, just found it doing some searching. Any info on this company?
I bought one on Ebay for $590. Hopefully I will receive it by Friday.
Congrats!
Was it unlocked for $590
If so that seems like a very reasonable price.
How much was the shipping?

any updates on any of those unlocking websites?
which ones cheaper/faster/etc?
So a quick update on my end.
I ordered the phone off expansys.ca on Friday night.
Not the cheapest of sites, but felt it was worth it in case of issues and I need to do returns/exchanges.
With HST it came to ~$671 (I also paid for express shipping)
Its supposed to come unlocked.
Here is the link... expansys.ca
if you do decide to order from them, the only other tip is coupon code LSJUNE10 will get you 10 bucks off (I assume it expires at the end of june?)
Will update once I get it
i ordered mine off tmobile, which means that i will have it LOCKED on tmobile.
still looking around to find a way to unlock it
If you're in Vancouver, you can buy it from CellworldCo for $529 + tax unlocked! That is cheaper than the T-mobile price of $550 + $20 for unlocking.
They ship elsewhere in Canada for $30.
I bought mine at pacific mall $600 no tax with free car charger. its sim free unlock. There is another sttore at pacific mall that sells it for $600 tax free with free car charger, screen protector and case but they were out of stock.
Ahhh good to know there are still nice deals to be had at Pacific Mall... Haven't been there in years

AT&T Premier Account and 3rd Party Retailers (RadioShack). Activation waive possible?
I preordered the HTC One X Sunday morning from Radio Shack (regretted it once I heard Amazon had it for the same price, tax free). Anyhow, a few days later I found out I qualify for an AT&T Premier Account as a student.
My question is, can Radio Shack (or any 3rd party retailer) waive my activation fee like AT&T does since I'm a qualified Premier account? I'd rather not pay those $36 for locking myself in a 2-year contract.
Just call at&t when it shows up on your bill and ask them if they can waive it for you
I'm not sure how much truth there is in this, mostly because I just don't trust the dude at Radio Shack, however, I, too, pre ordered from Radio Shack before the Amazon announcement, and I have a premier account, and what I was told by the manager at Radio Shack was that they don't "charge" the activation fee. AT&T does. If you owe an activation fee, it is assessed by the carrier, and charged by the carrier after the sale of the handset. I don't believe this, mostly because everyone at Radio Shack has told me something that doesn't make sense, illustrating their lack of knowledge about the inner workings of the cellphone industry. I'm hoping that at the time of activation the information shown in the AT&T system will be that I don't owe the fee, and one will not be charged, but there is no way to know until it happens. Might possibly ask AT&T directly what their protocol is for activation through 3rd parties is, maybe they can put a note on the account to waive the fee. Not really sure.
Sorry if this isn't that helpful.

He was right, the activation fee is charged by the carrier, thats why I suggested calling your carrier when it shows up on your bill, because I just found out that not all premier members get activation fees waived, you basically have to call and see if your company or whomever has that included in the benefits, but being a loyal customer helps as well.
Hmm, I'm on Premier account and I never get activation fee wavied by AT&T. In fact, AT&T charges $36 fee for Premier account a year earlier than they did for regular consumer account.

In fact, other than the service discount (I got 23% discount on everything), everything on Premier is more expensive than regular account. All the promotions like rebates and routine $100 off for new customers never apply to Premier accounts.
BTW, the activation fee is charged to your account, not paid at point of sale. So unless they give you $36 credit for your account, you will be automatically charged $36 by AT&T on your first bill.

I too have a premier account.
All you have to do is call in to ATT and tell them you were never made aware that there would be an 'Upgrade Activation Fee' and they waive it 90% of the time.
I literally just did this yesterday and they waived the $36 fee.
The convo went something like this:
Me: Hi I noticed that there was a $36 fee on my account. I wasn't aware that I would be charged for upgrading me phone!
ATT Rep: The sales person didn't tell you about the fee?
Me: No, I wasn't aware of this at all.
ATT Rep: We aren't supposed to waive the fees anymore since we started to charge everyone but I'll waive it just this once.

This is just about right.
I've NEVER paid an activation fee or upgrade fee since I had my first contract phone in 05/06.
I bought the HOX from a physical AT&T store and did not get charged the upgrade fee. 2 years ago I bought from Amazon and also did not get charged the fee. 4 years ago was from walmart and didn't pay it then either. So unless they've changed anything you shouldn't have to pay it even from 3rd parties. Not all premier accounts are the same though...I get 30% off service and other stuff which is my biggest reason for not jumping carriers in 8 years.

I know that. My question is that since my current phone is NOT on the corporate plan, and it seems that to transition to start the corporate plan requires a fresh 2 year contract, it appears I will have to start a new premier account contract at the same time I get a phone.
At Amazon I can only upgrade my phone w/o the ability to modify my AT&T plan. However, once I upgrade my phone, I will be on a new 2 year contract and thus not be eligible to switch to a Premier Account for the next 2 years?
Is that true? I am thinking about cancelling my pre-order from Amazon Wireless and just going to an AT&T corporate store.
I was planning on going into the AT&T store, since I have a Premier account, so I could get the activation waived. However, I guess after reading this I might just get the activation fee waived afterwards.
My only question now is that with a Premier account, will I have any problems doing an upgrade with Amazon? I talked to Amazon customer support about two years ago (when I last upgrade my phone) and they said that Premier accounts could not upgrade through them. Is this true? Anyone have any experience with this? Because I sure would like to pay $150 with no tax rather than $199 plus tax at the AT&T store.
I also am premier account but on top of 24% off plans I also get 30% off accessories and 40% off msrp of any phone and activation fees waived I guess there are differences in premier accounts

Thanks for all the inputs. So, to confirm:
Radio Shack should NOT charge me an activation fee when I go in and buy my HTC One X. The Activation fee is incurred in the monthly bill. Is this correct?
If that's the case, I feel like I have a chance at getting it waived via AT&T. I know Radio Shack would fight this to the death, so I hope they don't have anything to do with this fee.
I pre-ordered my phone online and was charged a $36 upgrade fee on my phone order. Today I checked my service bill online and there is an additional charge of $36 for a "one time upgrade charge." When i called them the CSR said that she was unable to see my phone order in her system but that it was "impossible" for them to bill the upgrade fee on the phone order so they always add it to the service bill.
After a lot of back and forth and being put on hold, she finally offered to "waive" the upgrade fee... which actually just means I don't have to pay twice lol.
Make sure to check your phone order and your next service bill.

If you wait long enough to upgrade, they will offer to upgrade you for free and even give you extra discounts. I used to wait for those offers but now I'm becoming addicted to new technology!
Wouldn't hurt to try calling them though!
You can probably get the other $36 charge taken off if you want to argue enough and if you're a VIP customer. At the very least, they'll give you a $25 credit or so for "not being told about the fee." But the easiest way to do it is to tell the person you're upgrading with (it probably has to be through AT&T and you would have to order in store or over the phone) tell you that you won't have to pay it and then remember what their name is in case they say otherwise when you call to get it taken off. Bam. $36 saved.

My last upgrade was $18, so i was aggravated to see $36 as a new fee :-\

You can probably get the other $36 charge taken off if you want to argue enough and if you're a VIP customer. At the very least, they'll give you a $25 credit or so for "not being told about the fee." But the easiest way to do it is to tell the person you're upgrading with (it probably has to be through AT&T and you would have to order in store or over the phone) tell you that you won't have to pay it and then remember what their name is in case they say otherwise when you call to get it taken off. Bam. $36 saved.

So far I have $75 dollars of credits in addition to the $36 refund due to having to call them constantly this month. I don't want to push my luck again haha.

I received the same.
I waited in the line in a TMobile store for an hour. There was only one customer before me. The clerk is extremely inefficient.
They have only black And there is no region lock sticker on the box.
Update: talked with one of the clerk in store, there is NO white note 3 in ANY store yet.
Sorry that you had a bad experience.
If you don't mind me asking, what was the full price, with tax, of the Note 3 at the T-Mobile store? I see on Negri it is $690, but people are saying it is $708 on T-Mobile, but I don't know if that's with tax or not.

USD 708 was before tax. That is $29.5 monthly charge for 24 months.
preorder Note 3 you had to pay 199 down, but in store you don't. The monthly payment is different.
I just picked up White Note 3 @ Tmobile in Outlet connection in Auburn, WA. There were no lines. I was 1st one to buy a device and after taxes, my bill was $775.26
Not being region locked kind of makes sense - all U.S. phones are carrier locked. Technically, you didn't buy a Samsung phone you bought a T-Mobile phone made by Samsung. So T-Mobile sets the policies that are applied to it. The drama about region locking really only applies in the America's and EU where "unlocked" devices are sold directly to consumers. Samsung doesn't sell direct to consumer in the U.S. so their global policies would only apply if a U.S. carrier chose to accept them.
Just got mine on web order, they had white and black but I wanted black. Special no money down so that is pretty awesome. Just taxes.

Thanks. I wonder if Negri will charge me tax. If they don't that would save me $75 bucks, which is nothing to sneeze at. Only problem is it's still showing as pre-order on their site, but I want it NOW!!!
I guess i'll wait. I can put that $75 towards a 64GB MicroSD and a decent case.

there's waaaay too many differences... last night when I went to visit the note 3 page on T-mobile it was $312 and $16/mo for 24 months or whatever and today it's $0 down and $29.50/mo for 24 months.. -shrugs-

Not sure about this since you can get your phone unlocked by the carrier under certain circumstances. We'll know more as these cases write in, but it's certainly simple to check if there are blocklists implemented on US models.

Nuh-uh. $75 is a lot for me. I won't spend it if I don't have to.

Actually, I was able to use a $20 off coupon (NE20OFFCART) on Negri's website, so the savings is actually more like $100. It came to $668, no tax, no shipping. That's a decent savings for another week or so. I've already waited months for this phone, so another few days won't kill me.

I picked up a white one too at T-Mobile in Tukwila/Southcenter, WA. I wonder if the availability of the white one in WA has to do with HQ being in Bellevue...
