Hey all, has anyone had issues installing the first update for the T-mobile OP 7 Pro?
I get a message: Couldn't Update, Installation problem (9.5.5.GM31CB)
Trying again results in the same message. I've tried factory reset, clearing cache, etc to no avail.
Has anyone else ran into this? And if so, how did you fix it?
No issues here. Sorry.

If this is still somehow an issue, refer to unlocking your bootloader, and/or converting to international version..

{First of all, i DID search high and low to find the answer to my problem before i made this thread.}
I have been using Cyanogen 4.1.11.1 ROM for sometime now without any problems. A couple of day ago i started getting force closes everytime i tried to go on the android market. I tried reflashing my phone using the CM Updater as i thought this might solve the problem, but that didn't work. I have cleared the market data via setting>application settings>manage applications>market>clear cache. That didnt solve the problem either.
Is anyone else using the same ROM as i am and experiencing the same problem?
Does anyone know how i can fix this problem.
Thanks.
This is an APP question post in the correct area!!!

wrong section or not, i have the exact same rom on my dream and the market runs fine. just move the cm-update zip folder out of the cm updater and put it in the root of your sdcard then try wiping and reformating it. might help, might not. it's not a rom issue though as the market works fine on mine.
Ok thanks for the info ill try that now
Problem Solved
I wiped/factory reset, rebooted and it works fine again now. i dont know what caused this though.
Thanks
Hello guys, I have this s7 duos (gt-g9305fd) (UAE), I rooted it about a week ago and everything was going okay, but yesterday while I was playing with developer options I turned on OEM lock/relocked it, and then after the phone restarted I got this message "Custom binary blocked by FRP lock", I searched for solutions online and I read that I have to flash the stock rom to fix the issue, so I did (Indian Stock Rom). After that, I booted it up and got several "x is responsive messages" (android.process.media, my files, Google x, Google y, Google z) so I thought it's a permission issue so I rooted it again, but that doesn't seem to fix the issue .. Is there a way to fix this?

Try to go in and force stop android.process.media and cmlear its data and reboot. If that does not work jreinstall stock firmware with odin.

How can I force stop android.process.media, what app is that? Also, I did flash stock firmware and that's the only reason I'm getting these errors.. I'm guessing it has to do with Google * apps or some stock app(my files gets unresponsive too, also can't see anything from gallery/my files)

Maybe try to reflash gapps. It wont reset your phone
Since yesterday this update appears downloaded but on settings it appears a red one that then is updating and I will not install anything and stay there I tried with factory reset but nothing.
Can anyone tell me something about it?
Do I have to take care of it?
thank you
Anyone else met with this issue with the latest beta? I keep getting this error, none of my SIMs work and trying to go into settings-SIM&Network crashes settings.
I used to have Google dialer framework (Magisk) and Google Phone installed, removed them but the problem persists... Cleared Phone's data, set the OP phone as default app, nothing works - I can't receive or make calls, and the OP dialer just gives me a black screen.
Any ideas?
Can I go back to OB3 without wiping everything?
[EDIT] ahhh local upgrade won't let me downgrade...

I'm on latest beta 4 using a IN2025 OP8Pro. I used the full ROM not the incremental update to upgrade from OB3. I am rooted also. No issues you are experiencing. Sounds like you need to flash the full ROM from fastboot mode and complete wipe for a clean install and start from there.
./
Thanks for the input. How big is the partial update? Because the one I flashed was almost 3GB...
So, no real way to downgrade to OB3 again?
3gb is full ROM not the incremental update.
So that's not the explanation then... I wonder if factory resetting will fix the problem?
Any ideas anyone?
So anyone else having random restart issues no matter what firmware you are running?
I am having this issue even after updating the firmware (yes I managed to get it updated lol didn't realize need to do it in increments rather straight to the latest).
I found a work around sort of but it requires having my hotspot on and another device connected at all times to keep the phone from restarting randomly.
Has anyone else ran into this issue and have a fix? Could it be a battery optimization setting?
Thanks
i got it when i update the rog 5 to latest version so i factory reset it then worked well

Ok thank you for replying, I just finished backing up with Migrate and going to do a factory wipe and then restore all my apps. Hopefully that solves my issues.
I have the same problem for last two firmware updates, for each update I need to do a full factory reset in order to let it work again!
