So I made a rookie mistake and tried to relock oem using the fastboot command, which bricked the phone. On boot it shows device corrupted, which is still fixable via the msmtool but I have been unable to get the msmtool working because the phone reboots by itself after a minute, disconnecting from the computer.
Is there any chance left?
Edit: I do not have the msmtool for the 7

Look for msm download tool here in the guides forum., it will reset your phone by wiping everything! And even relock bootloader.
Also, welcome to xda. Please use search before making threads.

Unfortunatly I have a mac so am struggling to work out how to do it.
https://forum.xda-developers.com/oneplus-6/how-to/rom-stock-fastboot-roms-oneplus-6-t3796665
Flash.all.partition.bat in the link above will get you booted atleast.. From there you can probably get a locked BL again.

Not sure if it's worth the shot, but try to install a virtual machine on your Macintosh to use windows.

Yeah I'm gonna side with him. When all else fails, give the msm tool a shot. We're fortunate to have our hands on this inside tool.

Does THE msm tool fix almost everything? Does it make it impossible to brick the device beyond save?

It should fix any issue with this phone. Make sure you get the right tool for your version of the phone. And ONLY CLICK START. There's a few other buttons on the tool, don't click those! I heard someone on this forum say that the other buttons may wipe your efs partition (you don't want that, trust me). So just click start to get it running.
Hello good to all,
It turns out that I have the device with a hard brick and I can't find a solution to repair it, I've been looking for a similar thread, but nothing. It won't let me in, it's not fastboot, not in recovery or anything, and if I turn it on normally I get: The current image have been destroyed...
How I got to this situation, was after rooting the device with a tutorial here, which worked perfectly for me. It was later when I had the great idea of closing the bootloader with the rooted device, and since then it gives me this error.

1)Just go to service center , if phone is in warranty , they will just flash the device with STOCK ROM using msm tool (best )
2)however they might even replace motherboard for no reason but that will also fix the device (time taking)
3) last option is to use paid msm flashing services costs from 5to 10$ USD , you can find them by Google search (risky)
I had about the same problems, my GT Neo 2 does not load fastboot further. The cyclical startup process is repeated.
Stupidly, I understand now, I decided to wipe data in TWRP recovery
This is what it looks like - youtube
I tried to install custom recovery from this topic, all stages passed without problems, but at the end after rebooting fastboot loops
Have you solved this problem, if so, in what way?
udp
installing this method
but root I couldn't get here
I tried to unlock twrp using the magic installation, but the problem described above appeared
I think I have the same problem as others. Realme appears and restarts continuously. It does not go into fastboot because the boot loader is blocked. What can I do?

Firstly, I don´t know why you flash an image that is for other device.
After that mistake, you also flashed a file that is -again- for a different device.
You may need a PC in order to try to recover your device and...

Sorry mate, it´s funny, you said to me the same some days ago, but no response at all, it would be enough, if you know a specific step to bypass that, by the way, tools like Unlock Tool injects some specific file to get it, but free apps like SPFT doesn´t have it.
