[Q] Play store error

I've recently rooted my nexus s (i9020) and flashed ROM Codename 3.5 with 3.0.40-Air Kernel. I also flashed the Codename Gapps, the problem I am having is that google music and maps youtube etc, werent installed. I did a restore with titanium backup and they were still not installed.
When I try to install these apps (or any apps) from the play store I get an error that my account cannot be verrified. I cleared the market data as well as google play store data, and still getting the same error.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks.
Original post removed, due to me not fully reading your post.
Try wiping and flashing only the rom and gapps first. Sounds like something may not have flashed right.

Problem is solved. I cleared the data in Settings-Apps for Google Play Store, google play services, and market feedback agent.
I still cannot seem to find Google Play music in the app store tho..

[Q] facing error issue when download app from playstore

Hi,recently i just flash and using this stock rom (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2560915) . After that when i try to install or update any apps from play store i facing error issue that says "error retrieving information from server.[RPC:5-3]". Can anyone solve this problem.I am very appreciated if anybody can solve it.
Can you go into your settings and clear the cache from the Google Play store, then clear the data from the Google Services Framework and force stop it. Then restart your device and proceed to Google Play and see if the issue persists.

Google play store apps update freeze after 100% download and won't install

Hi All, I am new to this forum and am very pleased with ROM KatKiss-6.0_TF700T_026. Also have Gapps: OpenGapps ARM 6.0 Pico and SuperSU BETA 2.52. The only problem I have is with Google play store unable to get past 100% download when updating apps. It just freezes and the 100% download and wont go the next step and install. I have even tried manually updating random ones via the play store. I have tried all the recommended fixes such as clearing google play store cache/data/force close and restart. deleting and re-adding the google account, reinstalling the latest Google play store version. Any help in resolving this issue would be appreciated.

Play Store Has Stopped

Hello everyone,
I have an issue, uninstalled the play store app completely from the system and downloaded the most recent one from an XDA thread. After re-installing it does not work. It says (Unfortunately, Google Play Store has stopped working). Now I've tried some method like clearing the cache and data from both the play store and google play services. I also did a factory reset using TWRP, everything is back to normal except the play store app which did not installed by itself but I had to re download it fro XDA. How can i fix the app so I can use it again? Could it be that is not working cause is not in the system folder anymore? if so how can I put the app back there? Thank you in advance for any help you may give me. :fingers-crossed:

What I did was reinstall gapps
Flash arm 5.1 and full package, you can uninstall the unwanted apps with rom manager or something

I uninstalled Google Play Services.....

Hi,
I made a mistake I was tired. I wanted to uninstall google play services UPDATE (downgrade) but like a retard I deleted the app instead of the update with titanium backup.
I tried to install a new clean APK with correct dpi etc... but I have google play services has stopped working all the time. all apps who need playservice are not working like google maps. a lot of apps who required location mostly.
I can acces to the playstore but only with a secondary account. main account is not working anymore.
Do I need to install play services differently? Or I'm good to flash a clean firmware with odin?
Thanks.
Try to convert Play Services to a system app and then reboot or if that not works, yes, flash a new firmware.

Are you using a tools for that ?
Or I just copy past the folder ? to /system/app or /system/priv-app ?
thanks for you help
I made a similar mistake trying to install a newer version of play services and got the same behaviour.
Only thing I could do was reflash firmware.
