Hi all, i know this might seem like a total n00b question but i just dont understand - can anyone state the pros and cons of each release?
is any of the releases based on the OTA t-mobile G1 update that was sent a few days ago?

I'm not certain of the pros and cons of each modded build, but I do know that JF gave help to the dude and Haykuro. JF also posted on his blog that he's definitely working on a modded version of Cupcake.

Recently, I’ve been debating with myself if I wanted to tackle making a new “JF” image based on 1.5 when it came out. I really wasn’t looking forward to making a new update. But now that’s its actually here, the “update bug” has bitten again, so I’ll get to work on it this evening!

i've noticed that alot of ppl went into this thread, plz say that you want to know this as well so that the ppl in charge will see and that it will stay alive!!!
OK so now we have 3 very similar mods based on the same build. Many of them share the same tweaks (apps2sd, multitouch browser, protected apps, etc). Is there a chance for a single unified build? Sorry if this has been asked a million times.

TAT home is for display for companies that build UI's on top of android it like samsung or sony and will probably never be released unless purchased or licenced by a company
TAT Home tweeted that it has released it preview it says
"TAT Home Preview has been sent to those who were chosen to review it. Stay tuned for manufacturer and service provider release"
Means someone out there already had a preview version. Mind sharing?

That's not 100% true. TAT had a beta signup form which I signed up for but like allot of betas they only send it to the first XX number of users. Very similar to the Swype beta which I am apart of.
I was hoping that someone who was lucky enough to receive it would share.
All early TAT Home beta testers are under NDA's, no one will share it and even if they do the app is protected. So no scramble that idea u got guys
Aren't all beta testers of any piece of software under NDA? But we still get leaks. I'm not saying whoever has it that they should release it but I'm hoping that the beta goes well and quick and they release it on the market im sure it will get them a lot of customers. Im first in line. Lol

yes this is true i signed one with biowallet iris software which is just aweful
Last I saw, we had the tech demo where data and wifi barely worked (and caused kernal panics). That was sometime before christmas. Has there been any progress? I haven't seen those threads getting updated, is there a different thread I should look for?
They aren't updating them as much (if at all anymore). I think because of the "secretive" nature of Cyanogen releases thats why they aren't putting out betas etc. If you follow CMSGSTeam on Twitter they tweet all their commits and such, to help you keep track, at least thats what I've been doing. Fingers crossed it's soon!
Is there even a Galaxy S Captivate Cyanogen version in the works? I got the impression they were not going to get to it for a while with the last release

all i see in that post is performance improvement, now expecting any new watch faces though

It looks like that project and alternative firmwares are currently meant only for the old Smartwatch 1.
Hopefully we'll see a similar development for the SW2.

i got this reply today, about the missing watch face that's on the box
(from Sony Webcare in the Netherlands)
"we expect this functionality soon in the next update, when this update will be rolled out i dare not say"
and in another message:
"i've saw the video, it seems only test samples had that watch face. i do expect this to be made available soon though"
i'll continue stalking them, adding one watch face doesn't solve the other issues
edit: also sent Sony webcare nl a tweet, the mail i sent though their support website never got answered either, but it was registered with a request number, maybe that will help as well
