[Q] iPhone double tap sleep button flashlight

Hello all! There's a cool feature called springflash in iPhone that consists on double tapping the lock button and the flashlight turns automatically on, if you doubletap again flashlight goes off
I love this feature and have been searching for a similar thing or a "gesture maker" to turn flashlight on (or unless open the torch app)
can someone tell me any app they know either to do this or to enable small gestures to open apps like torch or directly turn on the flashlight? thanks in advance
I'm using last miui rom so the option of using the search button as a launcher of the app torch is not possible!
for the miui rom i believe if i remember correctly all you have to do is hold the home button and the torch will turn on for you. i was on the miui rom just about 2 days ago and did work. if not there are other apps that you can use as widgets and they automatically turn on the torch for you

I'm using MIUI ROM and holding down Home brings up "Recent Apps" screen, just like CM7.
On cm7 you can change what long press on home does, under cm settings
Sent from my MB525 using XDA App
I thinks this is possible ONLY in custom ROM, Android System does not permit to any user's app to override Home or Power button,
bye,

You may have luck with the app called "Tasker" - Check it out
With CM7 you can define lockscreen gestures which can be used to toggle the flashlight.
I have setup a very simple gesture (looks like an upside down "L") for that. That makes the flashlight very accessible, though i does not engage accidently.
I used the built in powermanagement widget for the notification area to toggle the flashlight before i found that solution and this is a lot less of a hassle as i dont have to unlock the phone or pull down the notification area.
thanks for the replies! the torch thing of miui works sometimes but other times you mantain home button and it just flash 1 sec and goes off
If I can't find any solution and the problem of miui isn't solved I will go back to the cm7 and notification bar flashlight which is quite cool

[Q] Back app

Hi guys, i was wondering if there was any app that would stay in the dock and you could press it to go to the last application you were on. (and if you do, then when you press it again you go back to the application you were on before you pressed it allowing you to toggle between two windows)
Uhm why not use the < (back) and [[]] (last apps) button ?
The beauty of the type of back button i am talking about is that it would allow you to toggle between two applications. The back button goes back but then to go "backwards on the back" you have to go find the app again

[Q] Lollipop - change home and recent buttons

Since kitkat, Google has made long-pressing home bring up Google Now, and the button to the left brings up recents...
I've always liked long-press home to bring up recents, and the other button for menu, and used gravity box on xposed, however now I have lollipop I can't use xposed...
Is there another way to do what I want?
I have a galaxy s5 with fusion ROM
no,actually i dont think show.

That would be a pain, I've already had issues... I use playerpro for my music, and there's no software settings button which you need for sleep timer etc
Some Custom Roms had this option 'sleep timer'.

Ability to take picture when double pressing the power button on Android 11

Hi, in the latest version of the camera app i can't find an option to take a picture istantly when double pressing the power button. I'm able to open it when using the gesture but the new app lack the option to snap the picture once opened. Is there a way to install the old version of the app?
I tried to install an older apk with "app clone" but unfortunately it crashes on start up, no matter what option i select for the cloning process.
The feature they removed made my life so much easier at work so i would like to find a solution/alternative, anyone can help me solve this issue?

Android 12 does not exit most app

After using so many year of samsung phone, first time saw this behavior after update to Android 12
Most of app after i open, normally i press back it close app, but Android 12 it act like i press HOME button, all keep running at background
No way to turn off this so called 'function', cause some app does not update info when i open back app because it still keep running on background
Example telco data usage app, if i open at morning, i press back, at night time i open it still show morning usage, i need refresh/kill app to force update
Why need design like this, if i want background running i will press home, now look like back button is not exit app
Try Button Savior, which works properly in custom ROM with android 12.1.
This app allows you to protect the physical buttons ( Power, VOL- and VOL+ ) from wear and tear and also allows you to close all apps or one.
