Just wondering if it's possible to get that function while wireless charging, I use a dock-styled wireless charger and it's awful to use it while charging so i'm here asking
yes, it's possible...in the "developer options" you can find "stay awake" so if you enable it, the phone will stay on during the charge...

Hi,
does anybody know a way how i can prevent my Sensation from waking up when i plug in the charger?
I know that there is an option where the device stays awake while charging but i couldn't find anything to keep the display switched off while connecting and disconnecting the charger
My device:
HTC Sensation (german t-mobile branding)
ICS 4.0.3
No root
Thx

Go to Settings->Developer options -> unmark Stay awake while charging

This option isn't marked. Thats why the display gets switched off after a while. But i want the display to stay switches off when i plug in the charger
Do you want that screen is always on while charging?
then just mark Stay awake while charging

as for my knowledge - not possible to configure,
probably some custom kernel could have screen on when plugging charger disabled
Mime doesn't turn on sense 4.0 through
Sent from my HTC Sensation 4G
the question is - can you configure it from OS, or is it defined in custom kernel/ Faux123?
I have a Nexus 5. There is a special "Testing" menu that can be accessed by going into the dialer and using the keypad to enter #*#*4636*#*#. One of the 4 options there is "Battery Information" that gives details about battery temp, time since last boot, battery health and charging state(Not Charging, USB Charging, Wireless Charging, A/C Charging).
Recently I updated my phone to Android 6.0 and that "Battery Information" option is gone. Only the other 3(Phone Information, Usage Statistics and Wi-Fi Information) are there now.
Anyone else have this problem? Any other way to get to that "Battery Information" screen?
Hello MOAR users,
I'm not sure this is a MOAR issue. Something changed and I don't know what. For some reason when I plug in w Samsung USB cable & multiple different Samsung Adaptive Fast Chargers that previously would indicate "charging", now they do not. Inductive Qi charging seems to be working, although I'm not sure it is at the faster rater. On occasion it too has not worked but restarting the phone re-enabled it. Odd. "Fast Cable Charging" slide switch is "on" within the settings\battery area of the phone. I'm using Galaxy Charging Current app, to watch charge rate. In the MOAR General tab, Adaptive Fast Charging and Wireless Fast Charging buttons are red, indicating enabled. Anyone else experience this issue? Thanks in advance.
Also, how do you get what looks like a down arrow [on the extended power menu screenshot of the MOAR main XDA page] to further expand the options in the "Extended Power Menu"? I can enable a fixed number of them after which their respective icons are off screen and you can't scroll down to tap them. Touching the screen exits out of the menu in its entirety.
see this post too which describes pretty closely my issue:

I would like to make an app (for Samsung) that will work like this app on Google Play - Schedule Airplane Mode (sorry I can't post links because it's my first post).
But my app would have a timetable with fast/normal charging. So if I set my timetable from 11pm to 7am my phone will charge in normal mode with fast charger.
Could anyone please help me.
software can't control that, u would have to physically change cables or adapters
Are you sure that you cannot change option "Fast cable charging" to false with code?
I'm an avid user of Androids screen saver mode, whereby when activated, you can have the screen display a clock, photos, a widget when the phone is charging.
This feature always worked on my previous phones. Now that I upgraded to the Note 20 Ultra, I found that when I have my phone charging wirelessly, the screensaver will evetually stop, and the phone will drop to a blank screen, or to the AOD if that's activated.
I'm not sure if this is due to a change in wireless charging with Samsung devices or Android 11.
From what I observed, it appears the phone will turn off wireless charging about two minutes after the toast message "Wireless Charging Paused" is displayed, which then kills the screensaver mode and the phone will go blank or into AOD.
Anyone using screen saver and experiencing this same issue, and maybe know of a workaround?
Thanks for any advice.
