I am planning to buy OnePlus 7 but cannot find information about whether the normal OnePlus 7 has any liquid cooling or not, it's really a good feature to have in 45°C summer in India as I am currently using poco f1 and liquid cooling definitely improves sustained performance.
I know that the pro model has liquid cooling.

Have no fear, OP7, like OP6 before it, has some of, if not the best sustained performance out of any phone on the market right now. I bought this phone exactly for this, after testing Pocophone and Xiaomi Mi 9, which were my initial choices.
The way OP7 handles thermal throttling is amazingly and it allows for sustained max CPU/GPU speeds.

Which device are you coming from ?
It really seems a great piece of device with good hardware, great specifications, dual sim support among others.
The only reason that I am still weighing this device over lg G4 (about 200$ expensive) is the price.
G4 has to offer these but it all comes to what I need in my phone?
Do I really need a great camera, NFC for payments, wireless charging, Quick charge (30 minutes for 60% charge compared to 2 hours ten minutes for full charge), a removable battery and expandable memory ? Also, the screen pixel density and results are great for LG G4 where screens are a bit dim/ yellowish for some Xiaomi devices.
However, no SDcard and non removable battery seems a bit of deal breaker for this device. Also, i am not a really big fan of MIUI and their reluctance to release source code which makes it difficult for development.
I might get this device in a month as I am still deciding my options between this, Lg G4, and Moto X Style.
You got a point there!
I wonder how the battery life performs on the Xiaomi, also the site i provided has a great deal on that device, thats why i am considering it and i just got a new motherboard that supports usb type c
I'm wondering how network performance will be.. So used to tmobile LTE speeds

I've got a Mi4 that has a 5" 1080p screen with a 3080 battery. Battery life on this phone is pretty amazing. So I would expect the Mi4C to be just as good or better. Getting 5-6 hours SOT is not a problem. I'm usually at 3 SOT at 50-60% battery.

It's not that bad and it's definitely usable. LTE is nice due to the no latency when transferring data. But the speeds of HSPA+ are plenty for everyday things such as streaming music, web browsing, emails, GPS, etc.

Yes !
Interesting..
Gearbest says the mi 4c has "External memory: TF card up to 32GB (not included)"

It will work with Android Wear. I've used it with both my Mi3 and Mi4 when I had my GWatch. You just have to give it the correct permissions in MIUIs permission manager. Also, texts didn't work that well, but it's nothing a 3rd party app like Evolve SMS didn't solve.
You'll probably have issues with Android Pay as the Mi4C doesn't have NFC [emoji6] . I believe only the Mi3 has NFC.

Anyone interested about this? I chose the mi4c simply for the snapdragon and i was very tempted by the fingerprint scanner.
Whats your opinion, would you chose this over the mi4c?
well, the cons compared to mi4c: 1. 5.0 lollipop vs 5.1 llp on mi4c 2. many people still prefer 5" devices and the mi4c is a lot smaller and lighter 3. mi4c supports proper fast charging with variable voltage 4. mi4c screen has superior contrast (1700:1 vs 950:1 on the redmi note 3 pro). pros compared to mi4c: 1. more screen real estate 2. better build quality, more of a looker, too 3. fingerprint sensor 4. better battery backup, although it should charge real slow 5. s650 is more or less on the same level of performance with the s808 (maybe a 5% difference in favor of the 650) 6. i still don't know about the camera, mi4c has a 1/3" 13mp, wide angle, f/2.0 sony imx258 sensor with phase detection af vs redmi note 3 pro with a 16mp f/2.0 pdaf, but we still don't know if it's a. a samsung isocell s5k2pxx 1/2.6" sensor (like the one on the s5) b. a sony imx234 1/2.6" (g4 etc) c. a sony imx298 1/2.8" (mate 8 etc) so it should perform either equally or better compared to mi4c 7. it's going to be cheaper than the mi4c !
i would buy the one with unlocked bootloader....
offtopic but may i ask why is there no thread section about redmi note 3 here in xda?

Sorry, I read it as SD 615.
It still is a good phone, even better now . No doubt. The screen is just too big for me.
I hate it. The SoC is better (BIG cluster uses A72 instead of A57), the GPU is better (proven by higher AnTuTu score), the rear camera resolution is bigger, the battery is bigger, the screen is bigger, full metal unibody, yet cheaper price. Damn you, xiaomi...
I recently got my Nexus 6P (64GB) stolen and I'm thinking of getting the Mi4 since I'm on a tight budget. I'm also considering getting a Redmi 3S but it's a bit expensive compared to the Mi4 being an older device. I haven't used a custom rom ever since I used a Note 5, iPhone 6 Plus and Nexus 6P and I'm thinking of using a custom rom if I do get the Mi4. So do you guys think the Mi4 is still worth getting in 2017?
What i've heard, also camera in these new cheap ones is not as good as at launch with Sony sensor.
Snapdragon 801 seems plenty fast to me, I'm not trying to play VR games on my phone after all. Maybe some people are?

Can't find other one with Google, too much results. IIRC it was in en.miui.com.
As a mi4 user myself, I do not recommend it this day. This device is very good incase of build quality and battery life but it is outdated. You can at least go for Mi4c ( if I'm not mistaken, the one with sd 808 and 3 gigs of ram ) It will get Nougat too in summer maybe.
still works fine
it all depends on your usage of the phone. If you're looking into playing games then the SD801 might be not enough any more. If you need all LTE bands working, the MI4 wouldn't be the right thing.
cons:
-- gpu performance not up to par with current gpu's
-- different versions of the phone without LTE or only band 1,3
- only qualcomm quick charge 2.0
pro:
++ 5 inch JDI IPS screen is still top (1080p)
++ 13MP rear camera with sony sensor (IMX214 with f 1,8), not many top devices can beat that.
++ 8MP front camera with sony sensor (IMX219 with f 1,8), not many top devices can beat that.
++ build quality is top
+ 3080mAh battery is good enough
for me the best thing is the community support: you still get all sorts of custom roms including the latest nougat updates (check the MI3 forum, they are mostly working for the MI4 too).

Sorry for the super late reply, been busy with my studies. Anyway I got myself a Redmi 4A instead due to unexpected circumstances that killed my budget (lol). I don't really play games on my phone so I guess this would do for now. I'll save up and probably get something better by the end of this year or earlier next year. Though the Redmi 4A battery life is pretty good but I do miss the large screen, stereo speakers, and camera of the 6P *sobs*
I normally don't game on my phone and I have no issues with normal usage performance of the phone except for the pathetic battery life, but the ONLY time I get interested in a game which Mario Kart, it lags horribly to the point where it becomes unplayable.
See the video for reference:

Ya that snapdragon 712 won't be up to the mark. I was doing some research and found Oppo Reno Ace, almost perfect https://www.gsmarena.com/oppo_reno_ace-9894.php
Poco f1 comes with Snapdragon 845 chip and now poco X2 comes with snapdragon 730G. According to benchmarks 730G score is low than the Snapdragon 845. So if I buy poco x2 coming from poco f1. Am I upgrading or Downgrading?
If you want 120Hz display + 4500mAh battery + Camera and some new features upgrade then Poco X2 is the way to go but if performance is your only priority then stick to the King Poco F1

No, in terms of flagship specs. but consider it as a mid range phone and hope it will bring its pro version as the successor of poco f1.
If u live in India its OK, but for rest of the world in specially Europe , is not. Important lte bands are missing.

Definitely POCO X2 is a better choice.
I regret twice after getting Poco F1 (I bought two units. One in October, 2018 and one 1n May, 2019). LCD panel was of poor quality, touch sensitivity was a complete mess, thermal throttling was crazily aggressive, animation was crappy. I suffered to such an extend that I am scared to buy a Xiaomi device again. Currently using Realme X and apart from Color OS, I don't have any other issue.
Planning to buy Poco X2 as secondaty phone. I'm using Asus ROG Phone 2 as my primary phone. Will it be good for using, how is the performance and speed?
Well Poco F1 was a flagship killer, but X2 is definitely not. Their launch event shows Poco wants market share from Realme and the comparison between X2 v X2 was so prominent throughout the launch event of Poco X2.
If Gaming is priority - SD845 is still better
If Camera is priority - You can opt for X2 as it's better. Quad cam + Sony IMX686 sensor works better than that of Poco F1.
upgrading -screen n camera
downgrading -SoC
