My camera on sensation won't focus, this happened gradually, firstly it was getting harder to focus(take longer time or must change between models), then it can't focus totally. If I use the offical camera software from the offical rom, I tap the screen nothing would change. If I use the camera app from MIUI rom, I set it to focus on long press, it won't focus either. I've tried to flash back the original rom, the same. Even after I bought the camera and change it, it still can't get focus. Now the back camera with 8M pixes even can't take picture better than the front camera.
So I want to know if this is a hardware problem or software? I have searhed on the internet, it seems that only I have this problem. Do any of you guys have suggestions or ideas of what could cause this odd problem?
ps. I can't remember clearly if this problem happens before or after I change the rom, it has a greater chance that before I change rom, this problem has emerged.
Send it back for warranty claim. Look like hw problem to me.

I bought it in mainland China but it's for HongKong, there is no warranty here. Thank you, anyway.
Hi I recently started to notice that there was black blobs on my screen when I turn on the camera. This only happens on the when I flip and turn on the 8mb back camera. When I take pictures it also there. Once I exit the camera app the blob is gone. Did anyone ever encounter this problem? I called in Samsung and they wanted me to send in my phone for a repair. So I'll keep updating the issue. Thank you for your time.

Is your finger covering the camera lens!?!? LOL j/k
Had to say it. The SGH-i727 has been know to have screen issues with lines and blobs but they are usually pretty small. If you are not seeing the "black blobs" any other time on screen, then there must be an issue with the camera. Your best bet is to either send it in to Samsung for a repair, or try and take it back to the store where you got it from.

Hey Thank you. Yeah I sent it in today for repair. I should be getting back in 6 or more days. I was running on a stock rom 2.3.5 at first but I noticed the blobs when I was using the leaked ICS. So I went back to 2.3.5 and they were still there. It was probably the camera. I noticed the vertical lines a long time ago but they didn't bother me at all. Not all phones are perfect. haha Thank you very much though!
I need help with my nexus 5 camera. Couple of weeks ago my camera started "wobbeling" dont know how it happend. I tried factory reset and flashing other ROM's but it won't work. Have anyone the same problem or know how to fix this? Can't poste a link to show you because im a new member.
Does anyone know how to solve a problem with a slow camera focus? Is there a patch?
what variant do you have, what rom/build are you on, are you rooted/not rooted?
I believe that the main problem is the slow camera focusing especially noticeable at night. correct this programming error, I think you can get good photos and has not yet made video.rut forward bootloader unlock code.
Is anyone else having a issue with there spectacles where they won't upload the HD snap. It has always done it before with all my phone's. But not with my S8+ it seems to be a wifidirect issue like it can't make the connection. And I'm on my second phone. Anyone figured out a fix?
