Sometime before there was some glitch from Samsung side when they sent a software update for Android oreo update where the touch was not working so I saw a YouTube video where he flashed with some file it was around 15mb, from that day the screen boots with name as Samsung j7 neo whereas my phone is Samsung j7nxt and I want to unlock the OEM unlock because the phone has baseband version as unknown but when I click on update manually in software update section it says registering device and doesnt end. I want to unlock OEM option so that I can fix the baseband version unknown please help fast. Thanks

G920FXXU3QOJF Galaxy S6 SM-G920F 5.1.1 Stock Firmware -- This firmware is officially released on November 2015 for EE UK Galaxy S6 alone.Build date: October 12, 2015.

I have been searching for this for 1week now...and its all cause in " Dev Option " the ( OEM is Hidden ). Atleast im stuck in this part with this phone cause the rest i know with Odin.
I just got this phone a few days ago and I'm already looking for a root as well. I found one post on a root for this phone, but I kinda doubt it's legit. If you search 'Samsung galaxy SM-J737A root' on google, it should be the first search results. I'm keeping an eye on these forums for now.

If you see KG STATUS: checking or if it's not there after the wait time then you shouldn't need to use the OEM unlock option
Original recovery post for the J7 2017
https://forum.xda-developers.com/ga...fm-g-gm-x-samsung-galaxy-j7-pro-t3835629/amp/
https://mega.nz/file/fFFSxALD#1nOVnhF0k6vojg19bK60YCSugHH4LPULdmhYx-wHhP0 here is the J7 2017 recovery that should work since the 2018 model is the exact same but minor screen differences (I do not take credit for this recovery I'm just supplying the link)
It should flash without issues as the bootloader should already be unlocked

Hi.
I have a G955U Galaxy S8+ AT&T Factory Unlocked on Android 7.0
Baseband Version: G955USQU1AQC9
Android Security Patch Level - April 1, 2017
I no longer live in the US, and currently in the Philippines. Phone works great and the signal is too and all, but I cannot get OTA updates. Every time i try to update it says that its up to date.
I have tried different ways to update it that i read online, The latest one that I have tried is following the steps given from this Thread https://forum.xda-developers.com/att-galaxy-s8+/how-to/sprint-released-oreo-s8-s8-flashing-t3915872 but it gave me this output https://prnt.sc/oqjnp6
My phone is not rooted or anything just a normal phone. I am just trying to update it to the latest Android Version 9.0(Pie) , I just made this thread for the reason of maybe someone can help me on updating my phone.
