I have galaxy tab 2.when i check in settings for update tab says no update available but kies says new firmware available.but when i click update device connection get lost and reconnect.pls help me.and also tell me which is latest firmware rolled out by samsung here?

Hey..Even i am facing the same problem.
i guess there must b some kind of modes like download mode or recovery mode in which we have to boot our device..the problem is even i dont know as well as the samsung customer care .

did the *#272*IMEI thing - CSC shown is INU (im from india)
when i connect the phone to Kies, it shows "your device does not support software upgrading via Kies" as per attached file
any ideas or thoughts to resolve would be appreciated

its not ddkp4. Its actually ddkp2. U can upgrade it via odin. Kies update software is most stupid software.

I got the same message some days before the update was avaible in my country. You'll probably be able to upgrade your phone soon, just wait.

that cant be it ... the update has already been released and others have already updated
If you know how to flash...just flash DDKP2 using odin twice
I got the same problem. After waiting for months, I reflashed it with odin. So no other way except odin or samsung service center for us.

A few days before, i tries to install android on my wave 525... But after installing android , my mobile didn't opened. I even can't go to download mode.. so i gave it to repair.. I don't know what they did... they install the older firmware.. so, i decided to install new firmware.. but after installing it my mobile keeps restarting..even downloaded 3-4 firmware from different sites.. but nothing happened... And samsung kies said that "Your model does not support updating from samsung kies" ...What to do?? :crying::crying::crying::crying::crying::crying::crying:

I tried to find firmware from different sites, xda but the only place i went was hotfile .com and that has been closed.
So the problem is I don't know which firmware will work on this phone German/ European or what so ever.I've multiloaer 5.65, I just need the amss file please developers help asap

Found working firmware. BUT i wondered its BADA 1.1

Hi All,
Hoping for some advice
Ages ago I installed some custom roms on my UK N8010 - I now want to pass the tablet onto a non technical family member and want OTA updates to work
I did a restore before and in download mode it showed Binary as official and system status as official but OTA was not working
I've used Odin to flash the BTU N8010XXUCMG1 stock rom on there from samsung-updates.com
All seemed fine, though now there is no OTA update to test.. when I hold Power+Volume to get into download mode it is still showing "Odin Mode" at the top
Can anyone advise how I can be sure that OTA will work?

connect the note to Kies on pc , and check on Kies for updates, if it says u r modified then OTA will not work, if it says u r on latest firmware , then u r good (I think )

I did some more digging and managed to find an older firmware on sammobile.com, flashed that and it's updating ok it seems
hi there. I really need help with my Samsung note 2 lte (GT-N7105). well ive been waiting for kit kat update and there was once when I saw the software update prompt on my phone,I chose to update later coz I had no wifi connection nearby at that time. but when I tried to update, my phone says that the latest software has already been installed. its currently on 4.3 jellybean. I called up samsung customer care and followed their instructions but downloading "KIES 3" and I should should able to update from them. but even when I connect my phone to kie 3,its says the latest software is already installed. can anyone please explain to me why? all the other note 2 users I know are enjoying the new kit kat update. will my phone ever get the update? pls help. thanks. am from simgapore btw..
I've acquired a note 10.1 (GT-N8010) on 4.1.2 and when I try to do software update is says "your device has been modified"
I'm guessing that it's been rooted but it's not rooted now. Can i get this to update at all?

If you are trying to do the update via OTA, this might be your problem. Hook it up to your pc and use Kies and it should update it up to lollipop 5.1.1 for you. If this doesn't work, you might do a search on here on how to download the firmware and use an app called Odin to manually update it.
