DeX crashes when connecting USB hub to Type-C Adapter (not original DeX) - Samsung Galaxy S10 Accessories

Hi,
I just bought a similar to this Type-C to HDMI and USB Adapter for testing DeX. I didn't want to buy an expensive adapter, because I'm not gonna use it very often (maybe this changes, when Linux is ready).
I works great, I also connected my Logitech k400 without any problems.
So I tried an USB 3.0 hub with card reader (3x USB, 1x SD, 1x Micro-SD) to it and DeX doesn't show up anymore.
The S10 still shows, that DeX is running but my monitor goes black.
Does someone know how to fix this? Is this a general DeX related issue or just adapter related?
EDIT: Found out that it's working when I connect the hub before connect the "DeX" adapter.

[Q] Powered USB Hub Setup

I am trying to connect my NVidia Sheild to a powered usb hub with no luck at this point.
Heres what I'm using:
Powered Hub
USB to Ethernet
OTG to USB
Male to Male USB
So I am taking the OTG to USB and connecting it to the Sheild OTG port. From there I have a Male to Male USB connecting the OTG to USB to the Powered usb hub. When I do this I can see that the Sheild's power light is orange which indicates to me that it is getting power and not acting as the USB Host for the Hub?
I did notice when I tried to use an air mouse directly with the OTG to USB it works as it should but not when it's connected to the powered usb hub instead, then nothing works (just charging). Also my ethernet adapter doesnt work via the powered usb hub or the OTG to USB.
BTW this whole physical setup worked just fine (plug and play) with both android MK808 and MK908. I was surprised that the Sheild isnt picking this up as well.
Can anyone tell me if I have incompatable hardware and if so what is compatable? Also I do not have ROOT access to the Sheild...yet, could that be the issue?
Many thanks in advance.

[Q] How to capture hdmi->usb by mhl.

Let's say I connect my smartphone's micro USB port to a micro HDMI port of a video handycam, with a MHL cable.
I need to know:
- The pin mapping done by the mhl cable- namely what usb pin is connected to what hdmi pin (I couldn't find on the net).
- How can I capture the audio/video signal output by the camera, with the phone through its micro USB port (I want to write the driver for that).
We suppose the phone doesn't have a dedicated MHL chip (even if it had one, it would be for output from the phone not for input).
Also, I don't want to use Wi-Fi.
Any hint is appreciated.
Thanks.

Internet connection via USB OTG

To begin with, hello to you all on the forums!
I have a question and I would appreciate any suggestions on how to progress.
I have a Z1 Compact (D5503) that I would like connected to Internet via RJ-45 and a pretty much standard Wi-Fi router (with ethernet outs, of course).
What I decided to do was get an OTG cable, a USB ethernet adapter, and just plug it all in together: router -> RJ45 -> ethernet adapter -> OTG cable -> D5503. That didn't work. I thought maybe the adapter is lacking power, so I used a USB hub - that didn't work either (with 2 different hubs and 2 different OTG cables in all possible configurations). The phone seems not to be aware of the ethernet adapter at all (when trying with a hub, it's either only charging, or charging and informing about a PC connection, depending on what I plug the hub into - but the adapter seems not to be detected at all, or I'm unaware of where to look; no internet connection either; without a hub, nothing happens when I plug in).
I have seen on this forum, and some other places on the net, that such connection should be possible. What am I doing wrong? Am I missing some steps in the phone configuration?
I know I can just use Wi-Fi for that connection, and I will if there's no solution - I would much prefer a wired option, however.
Thanks in advance for all your help!

How to get non-storage USB peripherals to work?

I got an Anker OTG hub. It works completely if I connect it to my laptop, however, if I try connecting it to my phone, my USB mouse+keyboard combo (wireless with a receiver) doesn't work. It works with other devices, including my laptop's USB C port, and my old phone's USB C port.
I did turn OTG on prior to connecting anything (I'd love (root) to know to keep it on at all times).
I already ensured they work on other computers through that OTG adaptor, and that a USB storage stick works on this phone through it. In addition to that, HDMI works too (the adaptor also has an HDMI port), and the USB C passthrough passes power successfully, as well. No warp charging, but that is to be expected and that's alright.
I have TWRP and everything. Is there a kernel mod I need? I'd be happy to do whatever's needed.
Maybe OnePlus needs some updates
Even i have latency issus with my midi keyboard
But not with op5t

Bluetooth-USB adapters - connect them through a USB hub with Enthernet-port via Enthernet

I have a keyboard and a mouse that both have their own Bluetooth-USB adapter.
I also have a new Android STB that has only one Enthernet and HDMI connector.
So therefore I wonder if it is possible to connect them through a USB hub with Enthernet-port via Enthernet,
so that the Blutooth adapters can be used.
