App to answer calls and ask the caller "press 1 to ..." - General Questions and Answers

Hi,
Is there any App that will automatically answer all incoming calls without ringing my phone?
This App should answer for me and then ask the caller, "Please listen to the following menu options: Press 1 to speak to James, Press 2 to speak to Paul, Press 3 to speak to Sharon."
Most robo-callers begin with an AI operator. Even less know my name. So only people that know my first name and understand the menu will get through.
If the caller gets the right menu option, then my phone rings as normal. Otherwise the App should be silent and not disturb me.
An even simpler version should just go, "Press 1 to continue." Even this simpler version will block most robo-callers.
Does any App like this exist on Google Play?

Private Call Toggle?

Okay, we have times when we want to hide our caller's ID, we don't want our number to be noticed by the call receiving party! Yet it is so much to go through, first hitting the phone button, clicking the options, selecting caller ID, hitting the get settings, and now select provide my caller ID to "NO ONE". Took me like forever, and now I have to select the person's number from the phone book, if I still remember who I was trying to call! LOL
So I know there got to be a way!, Create a Caller ID's toggle, hit it to show or hide caller ID, simply and then select the number you want to dial and you can hide your caller ID.
Anything like that? I know I used to have the simmon's phone back in the days, when I needed to hide a caller's ID, I would just hold the 8 key and it would hide the caller's ID. Now the toggle was assigned to the 8# key, but I think if that is too much to do, why not just have a toggle, just as we have it for the bluetooth or other phone's options.
Is it possible?
um whats wrong with just dialing #67xxxxxxxxxx??

[Q] Weird Call Answering Setting?

So I'm not sure where this setting is or how to disable it, but when I slide the slider to answer a call, then a woman's voice says there there is a call from some one and to press 1 to answer or 2 send them a message or something. Is there way to disable it? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

This may help.
If you'd like to answer calls to your Google number without pressing any numbers, simply disable call screening in your Google Voice settings. Here's how:
1. Click the gear icon at the top right of any Google Voice page, click the Voice settings link, and select the Calls tab.
2. Select the 'Off' radio button option in the Call Screening section.
3. Click Save Changes.
With call screening turned off, the first phone that picks up will get the call if you have several forwarding phones.
If a voicemail system picks up the call, any message left by the caller will not appear in your Google Voice inbox, and instead appear on the voicemail system that picked up the call (i.e. your home answering machine, your work voicemail system, etc.). You can turn off call screening on a per contact basis in your Contacts list.

Skype - Will work...but I need to start it once manually at each start up

I have Chinese version of Skype. It works perfectly....IF...I start it up once manually after every power up on my Mate 9.
If I don't start it manually....it does not respond to incoming Skype calls or show the orange notifications of incoming Skype calls that were missed.
I gave the app EVERY permission possible...including WRITE to system...but still can not get it to respond to incoming calls unless I start it manually once.
Any thoughts or settings one wouldn't think of?
Thank you.
Maybe lock Skype in the recent menu, when you press recent button click the lock for Skype.

End active call

Hi,
I've just got a watch 2 sport and when I've dialed someone off the watch and they are engaged I cannot see how to end call as icons disappear, I then have to get phone out my pocket , same when I'm on a call and want to end it off watch without getting phone out, unlocking it, then ending call, how do you?
Thanks.
Would like to solve the same problem.
u can set in option to ends call by pressing power button
I've tried wear dialer and that does what I want, ie there is an answer and a end call icon on the watch itself, it's not perfect because once in a call you can't see anything on the watch bar the dialer, if you want to see the time by pressing the home button it ends the call.
not sure if i understand good (my english is not very well )
if u have a call and wanna see for example time, just swipe dialer like u would close any app, call will remain and you will be able to see what u want and at the end of call press power button

Not my situation.
I cant see the call informations on my watch.
Once I pick up the call, call UI on the watch dissapear.
Kind silly if you are driving car and speaking to your bluetooth and you are not able to end call without picking phone out of your pocket.

That's what I can't understand, I call a number from my watch through my Bluetooth, the call ui disappears, the number is say engaged, I then have to go back to my phone to end call as the watch won't do it, the only way the watch will do it is by taking the call solely through the watch itself, the call ui then stays.
Not the best but I've stuck with wear dialer even though once on a call the watch only shows the call ui, if you want to know the time while on the call, you can't.

Call Screening Duration to Mark as Spam

When I'm screening a call and the caller hangs up, I only have a split second to hit the red button to report it as spam. Does anyone know how to extend the length of time for that button to stay on the screen? I'm assuming that when you hit that button it reports it to Google to gather data, but will log-pressing on a caller in the history and selecting Block/report spam provide the exact same results?
It doesn't happen every time but a few calls have triggered a notification that has a block and report as SPAM button for me. Not sure what causes that to trigger but it isn't happening consistently.
I've used the call screen a few times but the intro text is too long and the calls nearly always end immediately after the bot is finished talking. Neat feature but I think it would actually be more useful for answering calls when you can't talk like in a meeting at work or on a loud bus/train or something.

I usually only use it when the caller ID shows up as "spam likely" and every time, they hang up before the bot finishes. It brings me joy, but I haven't needed to mark as spam because of it.
I did try it a couple times with real callers (a doctor's office and a customer service person), and they both started to identify themselves, allowing me to connect to the call before they hung up. It's GREAT!
Pressing the button only sends a message to the caller to remove you from their list. I'd definitely report/block after the call
