My QTek S200 is frozen.... HELP

Hi Everyone,
I try to install WM6 on my Qtek S200.. But it goes wrong.
If i try to start my Qtek, he freeze the screen on the "HTC, Smart Mobility" screen and shows only the version information.
>> Info:
IPL: 2.10.0001
SPL: 2.10.0001
GSM: 02.07.20
OS: 10.1.0.811
In this forum I saw the follow solution:
Connect USB Cable. Go in the Boot Loader screen (Hold down camera button, power button and soft reset until the 3 colours display appear). Run Rom upgrade Software.

Before I post this thread, I give that a try. But that is not a solution, I see a wonderful 3 colour screen. And if i start-up the Rom Upgrading Software (RUU_Prophet_220734_2207114_024721_QtekWWE_Ship.exe) he said that there is no connection with my PDA.
Anybody?

j'ai eu le meme probleme et apres avoir installé la derniere version activsync et reflash cela à fonctionné.

Anybody a solution for this? I try it again with WM5 and de lasts ROM from Qtek, but I have no connection with my PDA.

Do you have ActiveSync version 4.5 if is not install first and then reflash.
Note: When is appering the 3 colours do you have USB in the left corner?

No, I have ActiveSync version 4.1. Where can I download version 4.5, on the website from Microsoft?.
When I connect my phone, my computer reconize my PDA as a USB device. But the upgrade software and ActiveSync don't do that.
Now I use ActiveSync 4.5, the official download from microsoft.com and there is no connection possible. Yes I see USB in mine left corner.

If you have activeSync 4.5 and have the USB in mine left, now you can reflash again, i sugest you reflash to a WM5 and then a WM6 if you wanted.

[Q] Dead Phone

Hi all, I just tried to update my phone via LGMobile update software, and it strangely died never to power up.
The software went through the usual checks and started to download over 400mb file, it was about 80 percent when I last looked, but because the file was large and was taking time I was doing something else, when I returned back the phone was off and I had this error message

Updating is not possible any longer
due to a fatal error while the LG Mobile Phone Software Update
on the update software.
I tried to switch the phone on to no avail, I tried recovery phone method and that also fails with above error message.
Also when I have phone plugged in usb I don't see battery charge screen, so can't press upvol+power.
Any help would be appreciated.

Well, do not worry much. Follow the steps as if you turn on, bone, run the LG Update, installing the drivers (make) when your computer is ready, connect your phone to the USB, wait about 20 seconds, now press volume up and power and has about 10 seconds , loose, wait two seconds and you press volume up and power again. If all goes well will recognize your mobile LG Update to reinstall now.
I hope everything goes well, because otherwise you just have the service technician.

Bueno, no te asustes mucho. Sigue los pasos, como si te encendiera, osea, ejecuta el LG Update, instala los drives (asegurate), cuando tu ordenador este preparado, conecta tu telefono al USB, espera unos 20 segundos, ahora pulsa volumen+ y power y cuenta unos 10 segundos, suelta, espera dos segundos y vuelve a pulsar volumen+ y power otra vez. Si todo va bien LG Update reconocera tu movil y ahora a reinstalar.
Espero que todo salga bien, porque si no, solo te queda el servicio tecnico.

Thanks for the reply m8, I had been trying that but it was not working before.
Left the battery out for 20mins, and I can at last go in to debug mode, but the update hangs at 16% and stops with error "Problem with communication between cell phone and pc". I think it may be the new lg software fault.
Does anyone have an old version of software I can try? Also is there a way to download and restore from pc rather then download each new time the large file.
Update: I had to try a different PC, with windows xp sp2 compatibility and it flashed fully.

I think the problem you have in your PC drivers. Reinstall LG pcsuite and the drivers for the LG Update. The problem is not on the phone.

Yo creo que el problema lo tienes en los drivers del PC. Reinstala LG PCsuite y los drivers del LG Update. El problema no esta en el telefono.

entering DIAG Mod

in order to connect my new XZ to my car, in RSAP mode, i'd like to enable the SIM access via QPST. the problem is i don't find the way to open the diag mod, so i can't connect with QPST... i have installed drivers, but it seems that there isn't one for a modem access (COMxx).
any idea ?

try turning on usb debugging then after you plug it in turn on usb tethering. if this doesn't work i've had luck with other sony devices using this method which requires root: https://forum.xda-developers.com/nexus-4/orig-development/enable-nexus-4-diag-mode-qpst-t2211058

if that doesn't work you can try this in adb shell....
setprop persist.usb.eng 1
and to revert back...
setprop persist.usb.eng 0

no, it's not working. it seems that the diag access is blocked at the kernel level, and the only solution is to build a kernel with this access enabled... as i hav'nt the source, i'm not able to try. i will ask if androplus can do that for us.

Yes, i finally succeed to connect in DIAG Mod with this tuto http://rsap-xperia-sp.blog.hu/2016/04/18/udvozlunk_a_blog_hu-n_58054
unfortunately, i could'nt unblocked the SIM access for the time being. In fact, i succeed by putting the FTM to 1, but we lost the radio when the phone is not connected to the car kit, so it' unusable.

Then download the exact version that is for your device, add some screenshots here, also I guess you backed up something.

It's hard, someone can help you without important info. You need to share some things like:
- How did you try to flash that GSI? Using which method?
- Is your device unlocked?
- I mentioned previously something like a backup, what about?
- If you are trying to flash the same version that was already onto your device (a downgrade is not allowed)
- If you really put the device in download mode?
- In SP Flash tool, which option you are trying? And if the tool detected device?
- How is your device listed in device manager from Windows PC?
- What exactly the message from SP Flash tool was?

I managed to fix the sp flash but I can't put the cell phone in download mode because I put the twrp what do I do??

Usually download mode works with device off and connecting to the PC, TWRP doesn't matter here, you have to read a sound that reveals if PC is detecting and then if you tap on download option in SP Flash tool and connect device you will see the progressing bar down.

To completely power off the device you should have to press the three buttons simultaneously per about 10 seconds and keep it connected to the PC, press the Download option in the tool in a way that while device power off at least for a second the tool will detect it, and it will proceed with the installation of the firmware.

Well, you have there the solution, it's up to you keep it trying till you finally can achieve it, probably you need to uninstall Python and then reinstall it, probably you need even run it in other Windows version, maybe install Windows from fresh.
Other people could do it and my self I had solved the issue with my bricked RN9 so just depends to get it work from checking every part is needed on the process.

If your device can enter to fastboot and its bootloader is unlocked you can, you also should need the USB debugging to have enabled.
