[Q] My O3D is dead - no power

Hy everybody out there!
I have bricked or maybe killed with my o3d
After flashing the latest cyanogenmod (Selfkang 3) I wanted to restore my king 3d (v.2.3) rom.
So i did all the wipes on cwm (data, cache, dalvik)
i restored the king 3d rom but since then my phone does not react anymore.
It's dead!
I don't know what mistake i made...
I've already tried to run the LG Flash tool method but my computers (win7 and win xp) only recognize the "OMAP 4430" device but it does not install the "LGE CDMA USB SERIAL PORT" and I actually know how to handle with the LG Flash Tool, because i've already flashed the GB Baseband with this tool.
I don't know what to do
My Phone is not able to start, there are no light anywhere...
Should I buy a new battery and try it again or is my o3d dead forever?
Or is there another method?
Please, help me...

If you think,battery,then you can splice a charger and hook red to positive and black to negative

Sounds a lot like mine dead O3D.I sent mine to service, lets see what they say.

I had this happen to me this afternoon as well.
I was running the Acura OC'd GB Rom.
I was able to successfully recover by flashing a BIN with the LG Flash Tool.
I wonder what is up!

i used the stock gb kernel. the oc kernels were not stable enough.

i never used overclock so couldnt be that

Running almostcyanogen on my thrill 4g, I did the same thing. Held power button hit reboot and POOF that was it. Phone will not respond to any combination of buttons.

I am getting shaky over here,man it sux really..I am NOT going to install any custom rom whatsoever..u mean bricking forever??nothing to do about it??

Hello. When the battery is deeply discharged, up to 15 minutes, nothing appears. You will have to make sure.

I checked my battery on a optimus 2x. And its okay.

It only remains to know if your pc recognizes the phone, remove phone battery, runs on your pc the LG Update (make sure drivers are installed), put the battery and wait about 10 seconds, now press Volume + and power, hold another 10 seconds (+ or -), drop everything and repeats again press Volume + and power another 10 seconds. If the LG Update your pc recognizes the phone, you can make an emergency recovery. If you will not have to llevarlon to Technical Support.

Solo queda saber si tu pc reconoce el telefono, quita la bateria del telefono,ejecuta en tu pc el LG Update (asegurate que esten instalados los drivers), pon la bateria y espera unos 10 segundos, ahora presiona Volumen + y power, manten presionado otros 10 segundos (+ o -), suelta todo y vuelve a repetir presiona otra vez Volumen + y power otros 10 segundos. Si el LG Update de tu pc reconoce el telefono, podras hacer una recuperacion de emergencia. Si no tendras que llevarlo al Servicio tecnico.

Yeah I got it back, but It wasnt able to read my SIM card than they gave me a new one. This is what they changed, but I don't know the right translation from swedish to english:
- "kretskort" (circuit cards,PCB) maybe?
- New IMEI
That was what they did. I f someone knows what it means, we can maybe try to find where the problem came from.

I open this new thread because I think this problem happened to many people but was never solved specificaly.
I have two stock Asus P1801 and one is stuck with this problem.
I open this thread here because the lusb command on my PC list my device as "Bus 001 Device 013: ID 0b05:4daf ASUSTek Computer, Inc. Transformer Pad Infinity TF700 (Fastboot)"
My tablet can still go in Fastboot mode, it says: "Starting Fastboot USB download protocol".
The following command on my PC "fastboot devices" returns "015d3fb62c540c17 fastboot"
The command "adb devices" does not list anything.
I also downloaded the last stock firmware frome ASUS: P1801_WW_epad_1061224.zip
I think that it is possible to flash the firmware into the tablet using fastboot but I would like some advice from you before doing something wrong. My PC is running Ubuntu and also windows 10.
Please let me know.

The Asus P1801 is an All-in-One dual boot Windows/Android PC/tablet. You are posting in the TF700 forum and that is what lsusb returns. What is it?

It is an asus P1801 aio dualbootPC/Tablet. Ubuntu sees it as an TF700. I decided to post here because of that and because there is no real P1801 forum.

I don't know anything about the AIO. On the 700 you can flash the Asus system blob in fastboot IF your bootloader is unlocked. Even if the same method should work on the AIO I highly doubt the locked bootloader would let you do anything like it. Sorry, but that's all I have

The tablet has to be put on its pc base and the sudo commands have to be run from the PC base. One error I did was to try to connect the tablet with a usb cable. It will not work. The usb connector on the side of the tablet can only be used to cnnect usb accessories.
I hope that this was clear enough.

Hello Shabazz. I am sorry for the delay. For the English (US) version you should use the US firmware available on Asus website (https://www.asus.com/supportonly/P1801-T/HelpDesk_Download/).
I used the WW (world wide) version for my tablet. The procedure should be the same. At the end it, is only two line commands: "sudo fastboot flash system blob" and "sudo fastboot reboot".

Tablet stuck after 19 months
Hello everybody,
After the fix, my tablet worked fine for 19 months then it got stuck with a spinning circle.
I put the tablet in fastboot mode and flashed the firmware again. The first two steps ( erasing 'system' and sending 'system' ) were OKAY but the third step ( writing 'system' ) lasted forever and I had to cancel it. I tried it several time and it was the same. I don't get the spinning circle anymore but the tablet does not start. Do you have any idea of what I could do to fix that?

And how do i connect my tablet to the computer?

It's hard, someone can help you without important info. You need to share some things like:
- How did you try to flash that GSI? Using which method?
- Is your device unlocked?
- I mentioned previously something like a backup, what about?
- If you are trying to flash the same version that was already onto your device (a downgrade is not allowed)
- If you really put the device in download mode?
- In SP Flash tool, which option you are trying? And if the tool detected device?
- How is your device listed in device manager from Windows PC?
- What exactly the message from SP Flash tool was?

I managed to fix the sp flash but I can't put the cell phone in download mode because I put the twrp what do I do??

Usually download mode works with device off and connecting to the PC, TWRP doesn't matter here, you have to read a sound that reveals if PC is detecting and then if you tap on download option in SP Flash tool and connect device you will see the progressing bar down.

To completely power off the device you should have to press the three buttons simultaneously per about 10 seconds and keep it connected to the PC, press the Download option in the tool in a way that while device power off at least for a second the tool will detect it, and it will proceed with the installation of the firmware.

Well, you have there the solution, it's up to you keep it trying till you finally can achieve it, probably you need to uninstall Python and then reinstall it, probably you need even run it in other Windows version, maybe install Windows from fresh.
Other people could do it and my self I had solved the issue with my bricked RN9 so just depends to get it work from checking every part is needed on the process.

If your device can enter to fastboot and its bootloader is unlocked you can, you also should need the USB debugging to have enabled.

Hi, I need to know if someone knows how to unbrick (hard brick) the x4 pro. After the update it died. it is only recognized as Qualcomm HS-USB QDLoader 9008 via usb. thanks alot!!!

Hello, unfortunately it is blocked.
I was able to access the fasboot and the assistance mode through pcsuite but it does not recognize it, neither does the xiaomiflash. I'm trying to do it through adb, but I can't find the steps, thanks

I must tell you that the problem (mine) is that in order to turn it on you have to press on the back at the height of the lower cameras or where it says 108 mp. BY DOING THIS THE PHONE SWITCHED ON NORMALLY. since yesterday the phone works normally, so if someone has a cell phone that has frozen the screen and died, try. I did it with a roll of hard paper (make pressure). I hope it helps someone.

How did u even figure out that u have to press at that specific spot? Can you record a video or something showing how to? Also does it boot normally now or you still have to press at that weird spot?

I'm going to tell you.
the phone has about 2 months of use, over time it began to have problems, in different apk, camera, gallery until one day it died. I could only get it up through qualcomm, but no flashing tool could do the complete process to install the firmware again (believing that was the problem).
One day (here you will get to know my violent side) between connection and connection of the USB cable so that I could take the qualcomm, I hit it with my palm on the back of the phone at the height of the camera and it turned on but it turned off again and I could not pick it up. .. That got my attention. I kept trying by other means without hitting him again, but there was no way to get him up.
Yesterday, I put a roll of paper on the desk, put the phone on the roll at the height of the lower cameras and the phone picked up but turned off again, freezing as I have seen in several images of the little x3, then I put a bigger roll and in the upper part (front camera) I put weight on it, I put pressure on the lower part, so that it pressed well where it allowed me to lift the phone. Once it was up, I went straight to the configuration to be able to leave it in debugging and activate the oem unlock, in case it turned off again but so far it is not necessary, the phone has been on since yesterday and I have not had any problems yet, but it is clear that internally there are something lazy, I don't know what you think.

your computer can't see phone now in edl mode? is there sound when connecting the cable?
