Android TV Crashes When I'm Using Phone - Android Stick & Console Computers General

Hi,
I have this Android TV set top box from my internet and cable provider, codenamed dcn88_72604_ln, and I have one crazy issue : It crashes almost every time I use my phone (LG G7+), if both in the same network (WiFi).
I already contacted my provider but their solution is to give me replacement unit, which have the same issue, as this is my 3rd unit in just 5 days. I've tried playing games on my android tablet, browsing on my iPhone, nothing happens. Grab my G7+, open app drawer, suddenly the STB crashes. I have to unplug & plug the power cable and let it boot again.
The only solution is to turn off WiFi on the STB, but of course it lost abilities like controlling smart devices and casting videos. I also have other android TV box (Mi Box 3) but it works perfectly.
Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks!

Android tv and infrared remote problems

Hi. I bought Bee Link X5II for my tv. I had connect it to my computer upgrade it to new firmware, put all needed aps into it, I test it for couple days and everything was ok. After that I connect it to my tv and I started to use ir control that was included. After couple seconds it got messy. When I select some button, it suspend / f.ex when i select left: instead of jump on next icon on launcher it goes maximum left, stops on last icon and hangs. I tried also with universal tv remote and it is the same- something is wrong with infrared but I dont know what. when I use keyboard, or mouse everything is ok.
How can I resolve this problem? I dont know is it hardware or rom that causes that. Maybe there is some apk that I can use to assign buttons?

you should buy a bluetooth mini keyboard with touchpad anyway.

Actually I found the problem, but I dont know how to resolve it. I took my android tv to second room where I have my main computer and I was using it whole day with ir remote ( no problems). Later I plug in to my computer and downgrade firmware just to be sure it is not a bug in it. Again I was using it whole day ( with remote) and there was again even one problem. Next day I took it to my living room and start it. After just a few clicks on remote my android tv gone crazy again... I have no idea what is the problem in my room ( i live in apartment block). I turn off wifi in my router to check is it going to be better, but without succes...
How can I resolve this problem???

[Q] My android tv box just hangs on connecting

Hey,
I got this android tv box to watch online channels from this company. This company went out of business and now when I try to turn on the box, it gets stuck on attempting to connect. Before they closed I download a firmware update and installed it, it worked fine but then one day it would just hang on this connection after it finished booting. I am not able to do anything except go into settings. I try to click on app list, browser etc and nothing happens. I am guessing it is trying to connect to that online tv provider, and since its gone it just gets stuck. Anything I can do with this box? I thought it was my wifi so I used the Ethernet cable and still.
Here is the box I have viptv.com/viptv-technology
Thanks

How can I bypass the HDMI out check on apps such as Xfinity TV?

Anyone know how to watch Xfinity live TV on an external monitor?
I get the error
"Because of security protocols required by our network partners, you can enjoy this video on your mobile device only"
This is on an RCA 10" Viking Pro with Keyboard.
Android 5.0 and rooted.
I tried HDMI virtual switch with no luck, don't believe it supports 5.0. I also tried modifying the HDMI state file but I get an error when trying to save the file
I know this has to be possible, when my dad was showing me the problem he had it plugged into the keyboard and he unplugged it and all of a sudden the error went away and it worked and started playing live TV on the external screen! We got it to do it one other time but haven't been able to repeat it.
So really just need some way to mirror the display to and external monitor without the device knowing and telling other apps it is I guess

Screen Mirror to Samsung SmartTv

How can I mirror my phone screen to Samsunng Smart TV? I tried few Samsung Apps but without success. Did any one manage to do it? Also After I have installed Smartview app I can use my phone as a Pilot but I must first turn it on :S I could turn on/off my TV using Galaxy S8+ without problem...
Ok so I found it and want to share if someone will also have any problems.
This is built in feature.
Go to: Settings > Bluetooth &device connection > Connection preferences > Cast
Of course you need to be connected to the same network as your TV.
It works pretty nice.
Good luck all!
And just faced another problem. I can screen cast to my Samsung Smart TV without problem but when I try to do it on the older Samsung Smart TV version at my parents-in-law I have a problem.
First of all phone is finding TV very slowly and when it is found, I click to connect then it tries to connect, I get notification on TV that OnePlus is trying to connect and after 2-3 secods I get info on TV - disconnected and screen cast stops on my phone.
Using 9.5.4 EU soft version, TV is up to date.
Any ideas?

MI TV stick self turn on after latest update

Hi.
I've checked 3 pcs of Mi TV stick - each time after updating to latest update the stick is turning on by itself in 20 seconds after turning off by remote.
The new piece from box before update is ok, after installing latest update same issue. Does Xiaomi knows some solution to this bug?

I have the same problem bro. Still not found the solution.
I got the solution - at least that worked for me. The problem was with charging adapter from xiaomi phone. When stick was charged from PC USB slot then no problem with turning on by itself. It seems those sticks need power from low voltage sources like PC USB or TV USB (that I didnt check). Try it.
In my case there is no difference. TV Stick turning on by itself no matter if it was in TV USB, PC USB or plugged in charged which came in package.
It was my 2nd TV Stick because 1st was sended back because of classic problem with remote - losing connection and you need to unplug the device.
Unfortunately I have same issue with latest PI.1727. It's not able to stay in standby. On my side I'm sure it's a reason of updated hdmi-cec code. Once upon a time I was able to shutdown both tv and stick with a single button click. It's a dream now. I wish we were able to downgrade firmware.
Same issue on brand new Mi TV Stick updated to PI.1727. It wakes up with no reason.
Same issue here. I can shutdown MiStick + Tv, but I can't turn on both devices from remote using HDMI-CEC.
And both devices turn on automatically every day at same hour.
