Do on your own risk!
I am now testing this app on my Xperia E1 with kitkat 4.4.2.
Model number: D2005
Build Number: 20.1.A.0.47
Basically I will share with all of you those services which can be disabled safely.
You will need ROOT permissions to get this app to work on your device.
Also feel free to post services which you found out that can be disabled without any system app crash or anything.

App works pretty simple, just untick services you want to disable/enable.
I do not know meaning of each service so be advised!
Please do not touch Android System category and System UI category!

I have been using my phone with these services disabled for few days and it works like a charm.

can i disable bluetoothvoipservice(always running)? (i don't use bluetooth)
and what does TelephonyDebugService do is there any risk to disabling this?
and do you know about fingerprintservicestarter in the fingerprints app (in samsung s5) and if i can disable it?; its always running even thou i don't use fingerprints for anything and i don't even have a lockscreen enabled, i did once try using fingerprints for unlocking but like i said i don't have a lockscreen and it still runs
locationservices(the defult systemapp which comes with phone) and the services inside-geofenceservice and locationservice are always running what are they for(i have gps turnedoff) and can they be disabled

If you are not using bluetooth then yes you can disable it and try if bluetooth works just in case.
TelephonyDebugService - I have no idea but it does not affect calling and it's quality. Trust me I ve tested.
About fingerprintservice, yes you can disable it.
locationservice mostly is for gps so if you are not using it you can disable it.
Please do not touch Android System category and System UI category!
disable these mentioned services and post how your phone performs, no worries if something will go wrong you can always enable them.
I will add more services with description in first post

I'll do a backup to be extra careful when I try my custom boot animation , the only bad thing about disabling so much stuff is sometimes my gooleplayservices crashes like w/ youtube ?

my google play services do not crash and google play store too.
have you disabled only my mentioned services?

I recommend disabling services that I have posted in OP, those are tested and without any bugs or crashes.
As soon as I will find out more services to disable I will keep you updated.
Do not disable anything you are not sure about!

The beauty of Android is that you can tweak and customize the operating system to any way that fits your preference. This flexibility has made many users to forget about the stock firmware completely and embrace the extra features that custom Roms bring.
Lately, Google is aiming at a more secure Android environment and thus custom Roms have become scarce and even for the devices that they are available, there are some issues. One of the issues is the “Device not certified by Google” error that users face on Android phones running a custom Rom. This issue makes it impossible for you to use the device with Play services. You get constant annoying notifications that you need to have your device certified before you can use the Google Play Services. Luckily, there is an official way of sorting this issue and getting certified access to Google apps on the Play Store.
I am going to give you a step by step guide on how you can achieve this in the guide below. Follow the guide carefully and you will be up and running with the play services
1: Obtain the GSF (Google Service Framework) number
Google has provided a way for non-Google certified Android ROMs to use their apps by verifying the GSF number of the device.
For this you will need an app called Device ID from the Google Play Store to fetch it.
Download the Device ID app using this link.
Open the app and tap on the Google Service Framework (GSF) tab.
From the resulting pop-up window, press the Copy button
2. Register your device
Google has provided a specific service for unregistered device manufacturers to register their Android-based devices and make the most out of Google Play services.
Use this link to go to the Google device registration website
Enter the GSF number you copied and paste it into the empty space at the bottom of the page and hit Register button.
3. Clear Data and Cache for the Google Play Store app
On your device, go to your Settings app and open Apps.
From the list of apps on your device, select Google Play Store
Open the Storage section and Clear both Data and Cache
Reboot your device
Check whether the “Device not verified by Google” error has been resolved by trying to signup with your Gmail account. A successful resolution will mean you were able to signup without the uncertified message.

Thanks a lot, my device was certified with Stock rom, but uncertified when a custom rom is installed.
Now, it's certified with a custom rom too.
(Redmi 4X - DOT OS rom)

Did not work. However the GSF number i entered in the link was successful. Additionally cleared play services data and cache too. Device is still 'uncertified' in the playstore but i am able to use the playstore and download and even buy apps.

After doing this, the device certification in my playstore is gone. Tried to search netflix and banking apps to check but it's not showing, so it means that my device isn't certified yet.
My question is, do i need to wait for an hour or days? Or should I say that it's not working on me?

If you are unable to access and download the Device ID app. I uploaded a zip file containing the Device ID app.

Using HMS location services instead of Google location tracking services

I have recently purchased a new Mate 30 and installed GMS services on it, but I found that commuting apps(such as Tada, my region equivalent of Uber/Lyfe) that are available in both the HMS app store and Play store are unable to work properly as the map interface would be stuck on "Google play services updating". I tried to see if my location is work by going onto google maps and it displays my current location using GPS just fine. Any workarounds for this?

Yea there was no pop up notification of Google Play Protect, but multiple popup notifications for Google Play services requires an action. Could you be referring to that? I followed this tutorial on youtube: https:// youtu.be/ZYhlr_BQGlw

I have checked the video you shared earlier. Here are my thoughts:
I have installed GMS on my Mate 30 Pro and I have equivalent Uber app here in my country. I opened the app and the issue is one thing; the map is unable to load but I am able to order a ride, car or food in that app by manually typing it. It is not convenient for me by the way.
I joined community and it is found that the tutorial of mine is having drawbacks and unable to load the maps is one of them. Some people experienced the same way meaning that it is the issue of many.
Some apps rely on updated Google Play Service and Google Service Framework, but I assume you followed the tutorial with GSF Mod installed on.
Can you just install Grab app? Try to test it out whether the maps is loading or not.

I have installed the Grab app but it wouldn't get past the page where it says GPS can't be detected. This is despite having turnt on GPS permissions for the app. I had performed a clean installation initially but redid some of the steps after I thought I made a few mistakes.

Question SGW4 - Cannot be used for contactless payments

Hello everyone,
I tried today pay with my watch, be watch pop up window with message like: "your watch does not meet software standards, so it cannot be used for contactless payments".
I tried add another card with in phone google pay show me that "failed to complete setup for in-store payments".
A few days ago everything worked fine.
Has anyone encountered this problem?

Yep, in the last few days as well, I tried resetting send removing my account from the watch and re adding, glad it's not just me though and of a larger problem

So I tried also factory reset. After that I am not able to add card do you have same beta app? Like Google?

They need to get there stuff together. We should not be having to basically fully restore our watches for a functional GPay that worked flawlessly a week plus ago

It worked a treat for me, thanks very much, the tick that you get when the payment goes through looks different now, don't know if it was a server side update or something

Hi guys! I'm having a new issue. Had non-working google pay, did all the steps you recommended. Unfortunately, while adding a card on my phone I'm getting the error attached below. As an addition, I also did try to uninstall all of the updates of google play services and reinstalling them. Did not help unfortunately

Did u do all steps? Uninstall wear, plugin, Samsung health, Google pay? Reset watch to factory? Install again application? Do zou have some beta Google app?

I did all the steps (Could only uninstall google Pay updates since it is my system app). I do have Google app as beta, but I can't see how it would be connected to Pay or Google Play services (which is used to add the card to google pay)

Any fix for this available? Unistalling and installing again Google Pay doesn't and it was also not fixed with the latest firmware update.

Same for me. I'm now using Samsung pay -- that still works.

Question Android Auto: This app isn't compatible with your device + cannot update Google Play Services

Just got my Pixel 7 Pro a couple of days ago. It updated to the latest October patch immediately. Then
I noticed the Google Play Services is from July and I get a notification in the security settings about it. When I try to update it, I get a message saying Google
Play Services update is temporarily unavailable.
The bigger issue is today I get into my 2021 Ford Mustang, I then connect my phone and I get this:

Android auto is on version 8.3 now. Why are you using such an old version? The newest version works fine for me.

Should be updated automatically. Don't know how you had such an old version to begin with. But yeah any updates will install. Just overwrites

It's a 2021 Mustang Mach 1 which comes with Sync 3, the exact version I don't know but there are no updates when I check and it worked just fine with my previous vivo x80 PRO. also, if you just read my comment above, I did mention that the issue is now solved after I updated Android auto manually

Ask Google. I just got this phone yesterday and it prompted me to update to the latest OS which has the October security patch but it didn't update Google Play Services nor Android Auto

I have a Ford ranger with sync 3, the un-updated version of the pixel 7 pro worked in my truck. I did read your comment, I was just curious if it was something in like the 3.4 version of sync.
