no way! get out of here thief!
If one of our IEMI numbers get corrupted, it would be interesting to see how to restore it.
Would be better ask for IMEI reparation if that's the case

Take note of your IMEI before doing anything. Then you can restore it, but changing IMEI is illegal in some countries.

OK but how can I do that?
I want to change the imei. Because Turkey is a very tax. They're selling 3 times the price of a phone. Those who know how to change, please.
To change the IMEI number you need to inject in the underlying protocol stack while the stack is powering on. Usually this API is not provided by well known chip vendors. Also, on OS level it needs root access, and accesss to efi partition, if you are able to get the tools for this you can rewrite your imei number. But then again you will be in need of a genuine imei number to replace. otherwise the gsm network will not accept your phone.

I'm facing the same problem here, you'll need external hardware that cost quite a bit to do that smoothly. Any bootleg smartphone shop will do that for you for around 50TL. Most people on the internet will demand more to do it or teach you about it anyway.
Just ask around the shops,

Do you know anywhere to "repair" imei of pocophone f1 in istanbul my dear friend?

I have no idea why I would do this but people have told me multiple times to do it that it is essential for a rooted phone.
So far I know I can use different services?
I use Tmobile US so that means I can use Verizon?
Does that work for data too? I don't get data service very well in school but I know Verizon does.
So will that help me out?
I'm not being rude but what are you on about? Your post isn't very clear as to what information you require. Most of your post seems to be statements with question marks.
the hardware in the sensation is not compatible with verizon.. so no.

you will be able to use it with different GSM providers though, and oversees etc. its not a bad thing at all to do.

I assume you are referring to S-OFF and root as opposed to unlocking it so you can put different carrier SIMs in it (assuming compatibile network frequencies).
Flexibility to try different ROMs. (e.g. get rid or bloatware).
Opportunity to back up the phone (Nandroid).
Opportunity to back up the Applications and associated data (Titanium).
Make sure you don't have Carrier IQ on you phone.
....
....
not exactly haha
but you did answer me with one line of your post.
I have a perm root on my phone.
running miui.us
"quadband" is what I'm used to hearing it called
that just means I can use any sim card?
Sent from my Sensation using XDA App
I used the two years I've been using the HTC Sensation XE.
I live in Turkey.
Began to ear is different cloned bought a sim card in the device IMEI warning.
How can I have a new device IMEI.
I'm very ignorant about this can you help me?
Many thanks in advance

Again.. it is illegal so thats why no one post a solution. Use google n search urself and find a solution.
If u find a way to change the imei, then what imei number r u going to use? Each phone has its own imei number so if u change it thats called cloning and thats the illegal part.

Is there a cost associated with this workaround? If so, full disclosure please. If not then why not post the fix for all to see? Also, and I don't know the answer to this question, is this legal? Isn't FRP used to protect users who have their phones lost or stolen?

That's entirely possible however, don't you think if they wanted to get the workaround they'd have it by now? A simple PM and perhaps a cost, although that has not been verified as of yet, would be a simple thing for a Google employee if they wanted it.

I didn't doubt your integrity I was just asking if this is a protection from devices that are lost or stolen or even spouses and miscreants that want to break into a device. And the question was is this legal or not?
i think its legal ! lets suppose that someone forget his gmail account and he did a factory reset and he tried all the ways to recover it but no luck !! or someone buy a phone from a website and found it locked frp !!!

No, I've heard the stories about buying one that was locked. The only thing is you now have become the judge, the jury and the executioner. If you are comfortable with taking someone's word for it on a PM then so be it. I really have only heard about those that bought it off a site or privately and couldn't get the Gmail password that locked it. If it's actually your account there are always ways of getting the password or resetting it. They will ask you questions that only you would know, ask for your last known password or some other things only the account holder would have.
Just curious, are you charging and if so, how much. Don't tell me if you don't want, it doesn't matter to me that much. I'd also like to know if Google can challenge someone doing this as illegal and bypassing licensing restrictions. I don't know but you might want to protect yourself just in case.
And.. what if someone is harmed by your breaking FRP? Would you be held liable for damages? Just some thoughts for you to ponder.
Well, impossible as it seems, another Pixel bites the dust!!

Is there some binary I need? I've heard different things but unsure how to get OEM switch to light up versus greyed out. I'm new to this brand. I'm told you must wait 45 days? There are no custom ROM yet so not needed I guess but I'm curious nevertheless.

Is there some program they send me that actually does this unlocking? Forgive me but I have not used OnePlus phones yet and am trying to learn this Oxygen OS layer. I basically only wish to root to get root level apps to backup app data etc. The idea that SIM unlock = Bootloader Unlock is very strange. No other equipment works like this. You can SIM unlock without BL unlock. So please educate me. Thanks.

Maybe it is this device since it is so new. I give up for tonight and will check tomorrow. It says it is checking it live on their server so if she actually did unlock, unsure why it would error out.
