Yes there is, but you'll have to pay a company to do it. Those who know are very few

Phone locked... Urgent Help Please!

I have LG Flex 2 ATT. I slept with my phone by my side and when I woke up I saw the phone has white screen and it asks for 'backup pin' and 'Account unlock' codes. I don't know what triggered it but I am not able to use my phone and it doesn't accept any google account username and password. I don't remember setting any 'PIN' on my phone either. How do I get in?
Any help please?
The best thing if you dont mind to loose your internal data is flash the KDZ firmware on the device, if you dont know how to do it search in this forum!
If you dont want to try...the only way to solve it is send it to LG support service!

I did a hard reset but after reboot it still asks for the same Google account as before. Second, AFAIK flashing any other firmware will brick my device.

are you sure they ask for google account?! i mean, that only happens when someone have trying to acess the phone and fail the PIN code or something for 5 times and the device get locked and ask for that...but i dont know anything else to lock the phone and ask for the google account!
i see some users get the phone locked by mcafee and ask for a PIN for mcafee and not google! is really strange.

I did hard reset the same way. But google still asks me the account associated with the phone before the reset. This is how google thinks will prevent stolen devices.

This sounds like this isn't your phone. You can't remember the password or the google account associated with it? If you can't remember the google password, you can reset that.

Tbf it does sound a little fishy. I initially called bs too before looking at your post history and seeing you were active here before this thread. Personally I'd rather people err on the side of caution before giving advice on how to bypass a lock screen.

I have already mentioned before that I would produce the proof of purchase if anyone does have a solution. I even wrote the same to LG too. But LG said they can fix it only if the phone is mailed to them and have a return mailing address in USA only.
For others who are in the same situation as I was, I found a solution. Though, I had to pay for it. After trying everything found on forums for almost a month there was no other solution left. Finally got my phone working, have to admit LG has done one heck of a job securing this device.

Yep, imo these sort of threads should not be answered, anyone stealing a phone could come here and get it reset
There are the odd one or two where you can tell the OP genuinely has a problem with their own phone, but threads such as this look very suspicious

Sorry but we don't know that for sure
If you have a problem with a phone you bought, return it / contact seller
Saying you don't know the seller makes it even more suspicious
You could have purchased a locked phone. Take it to SKT dealership, tell tgem you purchased it seconds hand (used), and they will contact the original owner to make sure it wasnt stolen.

So i have a Galaxy note 8 designated for Sprint. The problem is, it's linked so someones account. I bought this phone from ebay and there is no hope of contacting the person. Is there any way I can get around this?

Unlocking bootloader on T-Mobile phone

Is there some binary I need? I've heard different things but unsure how to get OEM switch to light up versus greyed out. I'm new to this brand. I'm told you must wait 45 days? There are no custom ROM yet so not needed I guess but I'm curious nevertheless.

Is there some program they send me that actually does this unlocking? Forgive me but I have not used OnePlus phones yet and am trying to learn this Oxygen OS layer. I basically only wish to root to get root level apps to backup app data etc. The idea that SIM unlock = Bootloader Unlock is very strange. No other equipment works like this. You can SIM unlock without BL unlock. So please educate me. Thanks.

there is an unlock app on your phone called "Unlock"
If you use the Unlock app, chances are it will tell you that your device cannot be unlocked because it is not yet paid for in full (that is, if you're financing it). You're best off contacting T-Mobile Help on Twitter

Maybe it is this device since it is so new. I give up for tonight and will check tomorrow. It says it is checking it live on their server so if she actually did unlock, unsure why it would error out.

SM-N986U Bootloader

Does anyone know how to unlock the bootloader? Or does anyone have the source to root a galaxy note 20 ultra (snapdragon)? I've seen the link saying why someone did it but it doesn't explain how they did it, or where. I understand i might have to pay but honestly it's worth it.

Currently, the only way is via that method. It's done through an unlocking method that only they're able to do. Otherwise, it would have been discussed by now

SamPWND unlocks bootloader on Snapdragon GalaxySamPWND is a paid service that (remotely) helps you unlock the bootloader on Snapdragon Galaxy devices sold in the USA and Canada. This service is provided by XDA Recognized Developer and long-time community member elliwigy. He first announced this service over at XDA in December 2020.
He is the same developer who found an exploit that led to root solutions for various Snapdragon devices including Galaxy S8, Galaxy S8+, Galaxy Note 8, Galaxy S9/S9+, and Galaxy Note 9.
Here’s the old direct link to SamPWND’s official website: https://www.sampwnd.com/... but unfortunately the site is down.
You can contact elliwigy here though and ask.
