I was really surprised by that - except I'm not in India. I'm in Australia - there's still not even a mention of the g7 on the Australian site. Do we have a release date for the rest of the world?

"An Australia release date has yet to be confirmed and Motorola has yet to say if the phone will land in the country. If it ever does, we can expect the price to start at around AU$430 if a conversion of the US price of the handset rings true."
https://www.techradar.com/reviews/moto-g7-review

This moto will be available in europe at the end of this month, thats when im gonna buy it.
Can i expect a TWRP port and tested magisk compatibility by then, or at least shortly after ?
Im assuming bootloader unlock will work just like with other motos so that wont be an issue, and magisk is probably gonna be compatible, though i havent used magisk on android pie yet
Without those things its not even worth to buy a smartphone these days, and i dont wanna buy a lower g6 just because development there is already established

I bought the phone a couple of days ago. Had a hard time draining the battery. Ask me anything!

Just got my xt1955-2 in the US. So far I'm liking it. I was surprised it has CDMA, wasn't expecting the dual SIM to have it. No luck getting Sprint to activate though. Hotspot isn't working with a At&t Connected Car data Sim. It checks for account authorization, fails and tells me to call 611. Connected Car is a hotspot plan. Guess I'll be waiting for a root thread. Sadly no Dolby Atmos. The phone is too big! Thickness is almost the same as the G6 Play. I bought it for the battery so I'll guess I'll learn to like the size.
It is a nicer performing device than my my G6 Play. It's my first day, can't comment on battery life.

Do you have NFC ?
I have the German Version and No NFC.

Some hopefully helpful information for all y'all:
Kernel Source Code: https://www.xda-developers.com/motorola-moto-g7-power-kernel-source-code/
To get links to OTA for your phone, go here:
https://forum.xda-developers.com/moto-z/development/tool-motorola-ota-link-generator-tool-t3537039
(Note that I can't find an OTA for what's currently likely the most common Moto G7 Power in Europe, namely, this one: https://motoota.lolinet.com/?model=...4.ocean_reteu.retail.en.US&carrier=reteu2&sn=. If anyone can figure out where to get this or the full stock image for RETEU2, please post it below.)
Some full images available here, but careful, not all images are available there yet:
https://mirrors.lolinet.com/firmware/moto/ocean/
(See also here: https://mirrors.lolinet.com/firmware/moto/readme-en.html)
OEM Unlock Code (VOIDS WARRANTY, WIPES DATA) to unlock the bootloader can be obtained, as usual for Motorola phones, via here:
https://motorola-global-portal.custhelp.com/app/standalone/bootloader/unlock-your-device-b
But note that Motorola doesn't ship a Fastboot Driver driver for this device yet. As usual however, one can use the Google USB driver that ships with the Android SDK, by using the good old "Have Disk" method.

have any bluetooth codec? such as aptx, aptxhd or LDAC.

The thing i dont understand is that some websites write that it does support 5Ghz, other websites say that it doesnt.
I can connect to 5Ghz wifi with my old OneplusOne, but my moto g7 power doesnt even see the network, which is why i asked here. Its kinda odd that a 2019 device wouldnt be able to support 5Ghz.
I have my 5Ghz on 11 a/n/ac mixed mode, tried to change it to a/n mixed only and it still doesnt see it.

It supports 2.4 and 5GHz according to Motorola

i think i read something about wifi regional codes and how european version of moto g7 power doesnt support 5Ghz, so one needs to change wifi regional code, and that requires root
at least my moto g7 power doesnt see the 5Ghz wifi, even though my oneplue one does

I'm thinking about switching to this device, coming from a Moto G 2015 (Osprey) which still works ok but has a totally ruined battery life.
So yes, the 5000MaH is one of the features that makes me want this phone.
BUT another one is audio recording. I often do videos at concerts, dj sets, etc. I'm not an audiophile and I'm not looking for anything professional, but with my older phones (HTC Desire and Samsung Galaxy S III) the recorded audio was listenable. With Osprey it was just terrible: when recording from a loud source it got "saturated" and returned just unlistenable noise.
I read similar problems for later Moto phones, but my question is: has this been improved in Moto G7 Power?
Cannot find any review with info about this.
Thanks!

How to Flashing LG G3 Stylus

How to Flashing LG G3 Stylus
by:
Apriansyah Bintang
Ok Brothers, in this post i want to share how to Flash LG G3 Stylus. This article starts from a few cases where the user's phone report to me, when after they root their phone and update via OTA then their phone stuck on the logo.
Then I was challenged to find a solution: flashing back to factory default.
After a few hours of googling I finally found an easy way flashing this phone, but unfortunately the site was writing in Korean and I forgot to copy the url address.
Caution:
The author will not be responsibility in the event of damage to your phone.
This method is only for LG G3 Stylus Indonesia firmware. If your handphone is not Indonesian firmware than you must search in this index.
If your steps correctly then the flashing process will be completed for 5-6 minutes.
Feel free to ask in the comments field.
Please state the source if you want to copy it on your blog! appreciate my efforts.
Thanks to @quangnhut123 at http://lgviet.com for your tool.
Your thumb please....
Well we immediately began, Prepare the following tools:
Driver this phone for your windows (xp,7,8 or 8.1)
LG Flash Tool
LG Stock Firmware Indonesian.
Consider the following ways:
Install that driver in your windows.
Extract the LG Flashing Tool (LGFlashTool2014.exe etc) and firmware (D69010c_00.kdz) in one folder.
Go into Download Mode/Firmware Update.

}
Shut your device down > press volume up and plug the usb cable immediately.
Open the LG Flashing Tool (LGFlashTool2014.exe) in your windows. In the "Select KDZ file" enter the firmware of your LG G3 Stylus Indonesia, and the other settings will automatically be filled. It will look like this:
Select "Normal Flash" if you do not want to lose the data, but in some cases "Normal Flash" does not work. Then press the option "CSE Flash" to return to the "virgin mode" and the same settings when you buy this phone. Then it will look like this.
Select "Start," if the driver is installed on windows than it will look like this.
At number 6 do not change anything except Country transformed into "Different Country" and Language change into "English" and then click "OK." If you have the correct steps it will look like this.
Then if you really had entered the "Download Mode" on your phone then it will begin to complete the task of 1-100%. Similarly, Flashing Tool on your windows it will complete the task of 1-100%. Please see the Flashing process pictures in your windows like the number eight (8) below!
Press "Exit" than the task in your windows will go to the end . Then your phone will restart twice and returned a virgin again exactly as you buy your phone for the first time.
If you want to watching a tutorial in youtube please here..
Thank you for reading my article (Apriansyah Bintang) .
I still hope unlocking the bootloader, to start developing.

Right now it's impossible to Upgrade LG G3 Stylus to Lolipop, because there is no Official LG G3 Stylus Lolipop for us yet, and a developer who has made cm12 (Lolipop in CyanogenMod) not created it for us yet too. So the patient to waiting a developer to create a magic for our gadget that is the best way right now.
Even if i've alternative way to make LG G3 Stylus Upgradable to Lolipop it is still impossible, because a custom recovery CWM and/or TWRP not available yet to make it happen. What a pitty

Moto turbo xt1225 latest firmware issue

Hello.
I think my phone is not updated to the latest firmware version shown on Motorola's website i.e 22.34.16.

Any idea on the issue ?

Right. The latest is "16", not "11". Over in my thread and you @ Jaocagomez thread you can download the latest for your XT1225 phone and install it manually with fastboot.

There's several variants for the different countries -- Mexico, Brazil, Chile, Puerto Rico, India... We have them all between the two of us. I even have Chile, even though it's not in my op post but towards the end of the thread.
Also, @baybutcher27 has mirrored them all and you can see the link in a post towards the end of my thread.

I got an email notification of your message, but I don't see it as PM. Apparently it was a "chat" message which for some reason I don't have Tapatalk access to. Anyway, I copied and pasted it here from my email. I PM'ed you and am aslo posting it here in the thread you started. Hope you get this reply.
1) if you have unlocked the bootloader, rooted and installed TWRP you may not see an OTA update. (If anyone has a different experience or more detailed information, please post.)
2) if your phone was locked to a specific carrier, you may not see an OTA update if you are not with that carrier and your phone is now unlocked.
If you have a "factory" XT1225 and are still on stock -- you should see OTA. Since you have a Moto Turbo XT1225 (India), that phone is not tied to any specific carrier (as far as I know), and is a "factory" XT1225. I own three XT1225 now -- two from Puerto Rico which were sold by Claro carrier and one from Mexico which actually came straight from Motorola factory in China to Mexico, then re-shipped to my U.S. address. The Mexico one was "factory", but the two Puerto Rico were initially locked to Claro. They were unlocked by the seller, but still any OTA updates only went to actual Claro customers (as far as I know). Whereas the Mexico XT1225 got an OTA update notice (while I was on stock and not rooted) -- even though I am in the U.S.
But if you are still on stock Android, have a "factory" XT1225 from any region, and you have not unlocked the bootloader and flashed TWRP custom recovery, then I do not know why you are not seeing an OTA update available.
However, you can download the update from any of the links provided in the forum and manually flash it. Note that you will still be on 5.0.2, just an updated version. Whereas all the custom ROMs we have (CM12.1 and Resurrection Remix, as well as Mokee) are all 5.1.1 Lollipop.
Even though I am on CM12.1, I was on "11" Moto Turbo radio for a long time. I recently flashed "16" Puerto Rico to two of my XT1225. The 3rd is still unrooted and on stock for now. It's a backup.

Interesting. Looks like you have an engineering sample or a phone submitted for government testing?
The Moto Turbo XT1225 launched in India with 5.0.2, software version "11". Soon after, the other XT1225 models (Moto Maxx) in Latin America countries started receiving 5.0.2, upgrading from 4.4.4. Factory versions were first, with carrier versions following. Brazil and Mexico factory versions got "13" and later "16". India finally got "16", after having "11" for a long, long time.
Don't know why you didn't get "16" via OTA, but you can download and flash it manually. However, I found Lollipop 5.02. to be laggy. 5.1.1 is much smoother, so that's why I'm running custom ROM.
Ok my device is engineering as it says in picture.
Is it good thing or bad ?
Custom Roms are satble than stock ?
5.1.1 which you are using is stable than 5.0.2 stock ?
I have never updated phone manually as I do not know how to flash.
This is my only phone so I am concerned about flashing...
I'm not sure I'd argue it's smoother than stock. Just a lot more control. With that control and a few kernel tweaks it may very well be though.
Has anyone ever verified the engineering phone is bootloader unlocked?

On stock 5.0.2 "11", I had lots of lag. Initial stock 5.0.2 was horrible, compared to the smoothness of stock 4.4.4. Maybe 5.0.2 "16" is better, I don't know. I went to custom ROM 5.1.1 long before then and never went back.

I don't think it's already unlocked, but of course it's easily unlock-able. Just need to go to the Motorola website and they'll give you the code.
If it is already unlocked, then yeah that's one less step to flashing TWRP and rooting.
I'd never expect a stolen Motorola engineering phone to behave like a normal phone.

You're right that phone may not act like normal. If I'm looking at the screenshot right, it only has 32GB internal storage -- instead of the retail 64GB? All the retail XT1225 (Moto Turbo XT1225/Moto Maxx XT1225 ) sold to consumers have 64GB internal storage... so even though it says "Moto Turbo" in your settings, your phone is definitely a development prototype never meant to be released to the public.
The product/variant also doesn't match an XT1225. This is probably why auto updates don't occur. Manually flashing likely works fine though and is the proper solution to updates.
Sorry for posting in this thread. I have XT1254. Cannot understand what does "Device is ENGINEERING" mean for me. Do I need to pay for sunshine unlocking?

Device is Engineering usually means it's a prototype device not meant to be sold to the public. There are exceptions and I'll get to that...

That one just above is obviously a test phone from Motorola Engineering dept not meant for retail sale.
The exceptions are the Motorola phones are made in China, and on the black market in China you could get some Droid Turbo XT1254 phones with bootloaders "unlocked from the factory". A few months after the XT1254 was released here in the U.S., one guy went to China on a business trip from the U.S. and bought one. He bought an bootloader unlocked premium Verizon XT1254 on the street. How would such a phone be available for sale? Well, nothing legal... Either the phone was stolen from the factory production line before bootloader was locked down, to be shipped to Verizon in the U.S. or it was stolen from the department that tests software and they don't want their bootloaders locked down. Or some hybrid of the two -- a production line device stolen and the thief has proprietary Motorola development software that can unlock the bootloader. In those cases, it would not be a prototype device but an actual retail device. Again, I'm talking about the XT1254 phone sold in China on the black market, not your phone.
You did nothing wrong. You are just lucky.
In the other case discussed in this thread, it was obviously a prototype not meant for sale as it was an XT1225 with only 32GB internal memory. All retail XT1225 have 64GB internal memory, with ballistic nylon (which is really ballistic nylon + kevlar underneath). The XT1225 was the most premium of the Quarks (XT1225/XT1250/XT1225), as they also had more HSPA and LTE bands (but no CDMA, which most people outside the U.S. don't need anyway) and had bootloader unlockable from Motorola website (since they were not Verizon phones). But his phone was a 32GB XT1225 -- which doesn't exist, except perhaps inside Motorola test labs. So, no way to predict if Quark custom ROMs would work correctly on it, as they are developed for retail phones..
But yours is a 64GB XT1254 also with ballistic nylon and your bootloader is already unlocked. So, congratulations.
ChazzMatt, it's interesting that it has Verizon logo and still is "engineering".
P. S. SunShine app told that it can unlock bootloader for $25 Hopefully i checked fastboot before that

I think you would have to manually lock the bootloader. But please don't do that, even just to test.

Use Sunshine ($25) to unlock XT1254 bootloader.
XT1225, XT1250 have free bootloader unlock code from Motorola, but XT1254 requires a paid exploit.

Q | flashing moto maxx onto DROID turbo

Hi guys!
I searched and somone has opened a thread about this but never got an answer:
I have an unlocked droid turbo and was wondering if i can flash stock moto maxx firmware onto it?
(I think it was the 1250 that was identical? Correct me if im wrong..)
If so, am i likely to run into any problems?
How am i to go about doing it?
I am on a non-Verizon gsm network so no problem there.
Thanks!
You cannot flash the maxx firmware onto the turbo. The xt1250 maxx is the same as the turbo, xt1254, but the maxx xt1225 firmware isn't compatible and a lot of things will not work right if you can get it to boot.
the XT1250 does not have marshmallow yet, Nor does the Turbo. Only the XT1225 has Marshmallow, and thats the brazil firmware
It wasn't for marshmallow, but for the stock experience and performance.
Thanks for the quick reply!

If you want Stock, I recommend Computerfreaks Rom, its based on the latest stock firmware, and debloated with performance tweaks
Thanks!
Droid Turbo, not Moto Turbo
@Xeroman0, please change your title to DROID TURBO. -- not just "Turbo". Motorola used the Turbo name for more than one Quark.
There's also a Moto Turbo and YES you can flash Moto Maxx and Moto Turbo over each other.
In the body of your question you finally say Droid Turbo, but the title is misleading. I have actually flashed Moto Maxx and Moto Turbo firmware back and forth over my XT1225.

1) You can if it's the Moto Maxx XT1225 to Moto Turbo XT1225.
You can get away with just saying "Turbo" in the Droid Turbo forum but not over here, please.
I realize in the remainder of your answer, which I edited off you did go on to explain. Just saying, it helps if we are clear from the beginning.
____
2) Also YES, you can flash XT1250 U.S. Moto Maxx firmware over the Droid Turbo XT1254. They are the same device.
People have flashed the XT1254 firmware over the bootloader unlocked XT1250 and it worked fine (back before you could unlock the XT1254 bootloader). So, it should work the other way too.
But all the XT1250 has for stock image is 5.0.2. If you try it, make sure your bootloader is unlocked. And make sure you are actually flashing the XT1250 U.S. Moto Maxx firmware and not the XT1225 Moto Maxx/Moto Turbo firmware.
Still the least riskiest for an XT1254 Droid Turbo is your suggestion for @Computerfreak274's Rom -- if you want pure Motorola stock experience that's debloated.

Aww all it has is 5.0.2? Wow thats unfortunate. And strange that motorola would do that.
I looked over at the computerfreak forum, there are no pictures, but it seems like he just took the bloat software out of stock xt1254 firmware. That means that all the annoying mesages when turning off data or turning on gps will still be there( and those ugly signal bars yechh). I just dont want to go through the flashing process for nothing.
Currently on and loving the look of CM12.1.
Also, how do i change the title? I couldnt find a button

Motorola gave 5.0.2 to the XT1225 "international" Moto Maxx/Moto Turbo in April 2015.
Motorola then gave 5.1 to the XT1254 in July 2015.
Motorola finally gave 5.0.2 to the XT1250 U.S. Moto Maxx in February/March 2016 .
Yes, a lesser version than they gave the XT1254, and almost a full year after the XT1225 got Lollipop 5.02. Very strange since the XT1250 and XT1254 are the same device. Any criticism Lenovo/Motorola has gotten over upgrades is fully deserved.
Of course anyone with an XT1250 could have flashed Lollipop via any of the custom ROMs we have. And by February 2016, even CM13 (Marshmallow) was available.
The only Quark owners dependent on Motorola are the XT1254 Verizon subscribers who insist on stock firmware due to VoLTE. Many XT1254 owners in this forum actually do not use Verizon (and the XT1225 would actually be better for them as most are on GSM-based carriers) and even many XT1254 Verizon subscribers think the custom ROMs offer more benefits that outweigh the current lack of VoLTE.

On a PC, when you hit edit, there's a button just below the box that says "advanced". If you hit advanced, then it shows all the fields including the title field. Can't remember if it also shows up in the XDA app on a mobile device, but it does on a PC when editing in a browser.

thanks for your in-depth reply. ill try to flash CF's rom today, though ill flash the 1.2.6 version as people seem to be having trouble with the later ones
UPDATE: it seems that not only was my assumption about the CF rom right, but worse than i thought as the annoying messages now crash the ui as well.
so... how is 5.0.2 working on the 1250?
or- is there another way to get the REAL moto display working on CM?

You won't be able to flash the XT1250 factory image via TWRP. You already have Lollipop bootloader, but first try flashing without gpt.bin (keeping your Droid Turbo bootloader). If that works, then leave it alone.
I know people have flashed XT1254 Droid Turbo 5.1 stock over XT1250 back when they still only had 4.4.4 KitKat, and it worked.
Theoretically, this should work also, but you are technically downgrading from 5.1 to 5.0.2.
Now whether you can use the XT1250 radio or whether you have to re-flash the XT1254 radio afterwards, I don't know.
It's your decision, your phone.
Have a stock Droid Turbo 5.1 image to flash back in case something goes wrong and you need to go back.
Thanks! If i need mfastboot then ill try it when i have the time. Cheers!
@ChazzMatt
Ok so before i pull the trigger, i was hoping to confirm a few things to minimize the risk of brick:
1) i need to use mfastboot as opposed to plain fastboot
2) it DOES matter if i have the 32gb or 64gb droid turbo, and since i have 32gb it will *probably* be compatible
3) i should flash everything except radios, gpt and recovery if i want to make sure that everything will work and keep twrp
4) i currently have su4tl-49, unlocked and thats totally ok?
5) in the event the flash fails, i can just restore to the stock su4tl-49 version thats on here (the one without recovery)
6) i can follow this guide http://forum.xda-developers.com/droid-turbo/help/tutorial-how-to-flash-official-firmware-t3074724 (again, avoiding radio and recovery)
Thanks for all your help!

As far as I can see, yes.
Just make sure you flash ALL the "sparsechunks". I don't know how many the XT1250 image has, but the first time (when I flashed from Puerto Rico Moto Maxx XT1225 4.4.4 to Moto Turbo XT1225 5.0.2 stock image), I was going by the example in the guide which lists 8 "sparsechunks" -- but that's just an example. The image you are flashing may have more... Having never done it before, I thought "well, I just need to flash 8 of them"! Luckily, I had an unlocked bootloader so I was able to recover from my mistake.
Endless bootloop at start-up.
Booted backinto recovery and reflashed all the sparse chunks the next time.

Yes, when you download the image. For instance the 5.0.2 Puerto Rico has only 7 sparsechunks.

This is the only copy I keep on my computer. But India 5.0.2 has more, like 9 or 10, which is why I messed up the first time only flashing 8.
Remember, I was going from Puerto Rico 4.4.4 to India 5.0.2. I didn't know how many sparsechunks Puerto Rico 4.4.4 had because it was already installed. And I didn't know I need to flash ALL of India because I had never done it before, and was going by the example in the guide. In retrospect, very silly of me to assume that, but there are so many weird things in flashing phones (for instance, LG G2 flashing has so many different rules from the LG Nexus 5, even though they have basically the same hardware) that only flashing 8 sparsechunks could have been the right thing to to. It wasn't -- but I only found out by making the mistake first.
If I didn't say it before, save off a TWRP backup image on your computer first.

Is this a new software Update ?

Hi..I am not a newbie to XDA, but new to Moto turbo forums. I was out of station for a couple of days and left my phone with my cousin. After coming and seeing the phone, i noticed that the kernel, build version and minor things are changed and even can see a new option System tuning in settings which I havent seen before. Is this a official software update from motorola ? The best thing is I can see an option in developer options showing "OEM unlocking". So can I unlock bootloader and install custom roms without effecting my warranty? In brief, I want to know 2 things.
1. IS this a official software update from motorola (Owned by Lenovo ) bcus i see a weird name in kernel..
2. Can I flash custom roms with the OEM unlocking option without sending a request to motorola thus voiding my warranty?

First, I gladly voided warranty on two of my three XT1225 to unlock the bootloader. Depending on when you bought the phone, you may not have a warranty anymore anyway.
Second, OEM unlocking has been there since Lollipop. (< see link) It's also there in stock Motorola Lollipop for the XT1225, which was released in March 2015. The Moto Turbo LAUNCHED with Lollipop 5.0.2 in India in March 2015 -- whereas the other XT1225 (Moto Maxx) launched with Kitkat months earlier. But the Moto Turbo has had this OEM unlock from the very beginning when launched in India. It's not new and doesn't do a thing unless you also get code from Motorola and follow this guide:

I really don't see anything new here. Your kernel is from May 2016, and is the kernel included in the July 2016 Motorola Marshmallow 6.0.1 release for the XT1225.
Did you not ever upgrade to Marshmallow before now or did you never unlock your Developer Options?

And I have enabled OEM unlocking option in developer options and asked me to hit confirm to enable. I did and the toggle button enabled. Now Should I really need to contact motorola for the Bootloader unlock key or is there someother way to unlock bootloader? I dont want to ruin my warranty as its just 2 months old phone.

Yes, for our Motorola phones enabling that OEM Unlock feature is only the first step. The next step is to get the free code from Motorola.
Before Lollipop added that feature, we just got the code from Motorola. Now you have to do both -- enable that feature and request the code.
Over on the Droid Turbo XT1254 Quark variant, they have to use Sunshine to unlock their bootloaders, but 1) it doesn't work on Marshmallow and 2) only works for specific versions of Verizon Lollipop firmware. It was not designed for the free bootloader unlock of the other Quarks, the XT1225 or XT1250.

But basically you go the website address listed in the guide, sign up with Motorola, acknowledge you understand what you are doing, blah, blah, blah, and they email you a code. You have to give them information about your phone. Once you go to the Motorola website it's explained thoroughly.
Go to that guide and start reading.

UK CPW Find X2 PRO STUCK ON COLOROS 7.1 MAY 2020 PATCH

Hi All
I have just purchased a Find X2 Pro unlocked from a store as a used return, it has come unlocked from no carrier but says CPW (which i assume stands for carphone warehouse?
This isn't the main issue for me but what is is the fact the phone refuses to update at all
I have tried various VPN's on different regions and still no luck, OPPO's UK website doesn't even think the find x2 pro exists on their support page so i can't manually download firmware to flash it, the recovery updater also has no luck. I've also tried doing the region swap tool i saw on another thread but had no luck setting it up as my ethernet adapter doesn't have a "network address tab"
At the end of the day, i cannot find a single way to update this phone, has anyone else faced this issue or know another potential way to fix it? If not then the phone is being returned ASAP since this isn't acceptable from OPPO
Thanks for any potential help
EDIT: I have managed to get into the engineer mode to change the software region, even after changing it to EUEX i cannot get any updates with various VPN's

The build they sent me was a March 2020 Android 11 build which has now allowed me to update and now running C75 however i did change the branch to EUEX as stated in my post so no longer running the CPW build. Didn't even require a VPN (in UK)
File on MEGA
mega.nz
Thanks, unfortunately I'm stuck on C.70 from August. So I don't think I could install your file on my phone.
How did you contact Oppo to obtain this file ? I contacted the support on global site to request an update, but they said to wait for OTA to come.

I contacted the UK site (since im in UK) via live chat, they asked for the software build and IMEI and told me they would send me a link via email within a few days (came next day)
Thanks for this. I contacted Oppo about my X2 Pro, the link they sent me kept saying installation failed. Your download worked straight away and am now on the January security patch. I have not changed region or anything else. Thanks again for posting download.
Hi @TheDXDan, I have exactly the same problem, bought a Find X2 Pro with the same CPW_11_A_26 version you were showing in the photo above.
Would you please be able to share again the firmware you used? I tried the link you provided above on 'mega.nz' but the file is no longer available there.
I also spoke to Oppo support, they pointed me to a download called "CPH2023EU_11_OTA_17501380_all_MWTyBnliH0nz.ozip" but that did not work, a couple of seconds after I start the update it says 'Installation Failed'
I wonder if changing the software region to EUEX, as you did, is essential for this firmware update to work? @Jonah72 , did you have to change to EUEX?
Many thanks for any help with this.

The link OPPO supplied me didn't work and kept saying "installation failed". I didn't change to EUEX, just installed the update from the link above

This link worked for me, thank you @Jonah72!!! And I did not have to change software region for it to update.
With this firmware file it updated from the old Android10/Coloros7.1/rev 26 that the phone came with, to Android 11 rev. 65 [at least I think it was 65]. After that the phone was able to do further OTA updates, it found/installed several updates quite quickly, I think about three of those got it all the way to Android 12 with a security patch from May 2022, which it now says [quite plausibly] is latest. Previously the silly thing was saying that the Android 10/Coloros 7.1 it had from 2020 was 'latest'.
So I am very happy with this. I have to say, I don't notice a massive difference in use between the old Android10/7.1 and this latest Android12, but there are some slight improvements (for example, with the old firmware screen rotation was unreliable on this phone, it seems better/fixed now). The camera app has some improved configurability. There probably are some more subtle new features in Android 12 vs Android 10, that I just didn't notice with my rather basic use of the phone.
Anyways - thanks again. Without your help I was probably going to remain stuck on the old firmware for eternity, since Oppo UK support have been totally useless in solving this, despite my wasting a lot of time chasing them.

How you got updated to 12 , and after how much time after downloading thia firmware you got the update?
For mine after suffering 2 week i found your comment and i update using this firmware but i found some problem with camera software and i need to update to color os 12.
And which is your country so i can use vpn to receive ota update
Hi @Coagulation
After flashing the update to Android10/Coloros7.1/rev 26 I got the OTA updates to Android 12 within the next hour.
I am in the UK.
I guess what OTA updates are available at any time depends on OPPO and maybe also on your mobile phone operator.
