Hi.
i've bricked my GALAXY S7 recently, so i managed to download a stock firmware from sammobile.
i have downloaded the 2018-10-25 (older, i did an ota update to the latest firmware 2018-12-01)
and it didn't work ! googled the problem, found that you can't downgrade in carrier phones.
so i went to the latest one the 2018-12-01, download it from sammobile, it took forever to download ! thanks to samsung servers.
and .... the RAR file was corrupted -_- .
the AP file is corrupted, the other files (BL,CP,CSC .. working normal)
so what should i do ?
hate t-mobile
sorry for any language mistakes. English isn't my native.

Hello guys, so here's my problem :
Today i wanted to root my samsung galaxy s6 (H3G United Kingdom Version) SM G920F and i did by using a CFW method
it all went fine until i decided to instal xposed framework and i did but when i flashed it via TWRP i rebooted my phone and the led notification is now blue and it's always ON , i have decided then to search for my stock rom and i found two that i have downloaded but unfortunately whenever i want to flash it via odin i have a problem : it says that it failed now i want to know if there's hope for me to fix my phone or it's gone ? because i tried almost every stock rom available for my phone but odin always shows me that error message at the early begining of the flash !
Thanks for your answers in advance guys ! :good::good:
Update : i downloaded the latest firmware from sammobile the 6.0.1 and flashed it with odin ! And this time it worked

This file is 2.8 gigs the OTA update was about 700-800 megs. The update messed my phone up too, lag, BT issues, and less bars my radio is crap now. Going to try to run the full file hopefully fixes it if not maybe i can at least roll back to 7.0
How to enter download mode?
Hi, thanks for the sharing.
But i can not find a way to enter download mode of my VS988.
I have followed this instruction: hard*reset.info/devices/lg/lg-g6-vs988/download-mode (remove the asterisk)
But still no luck.
Did i miss something important here?
Please advise..
Thanks anyway
UPDATE:
Somehow doing the "enter download mode procedure" while the data cable is connected, solve the problem...
Thanks anyway

You can use websites like sammobile or updato to download firmware. You will have to search for you model number and region/carrier.
Or for the latest firmware use PC apps like samfirm or frija.

Several months ago I've rooted my Samsung Galaxy S7, but was not satisfied and tried to unroot the phone. But it became a drama.
My phone doesn't start up anymore.
I tried to load the original firmware with Odin, but every attempt failed, showing the error message:
Check fail(bootloader) device: 8, binary: 7
I understood that the firmware I was trying to load, was not the most recent firmware.
But I cannot find newer firmware for my model: SM-G930F - The Netherlands
I've downloaded the most recent firmware from Samdb.org and I've downloaded the most recent firmware with the Frija tool.
Also I've tried the Fixppo software from iMyFone, but without success.
From Sammobile unfortunately I cannot download files, so I could not try this way.
Could anyone give me the golden tip?

Use Sam Firm tool, to downlaod Netherlands (MMO) then flash with Odin. MMO is currently boot loader 8 which you need.

Download the app "Frija", and use it to get what you need.
