Install Android Pie (One UI) on my phone - Samsung Galaxy S7 Questions and Answers

Hello
I have a somewhat strange question, is it any way to install/flash rom or update my phone to android Pie whiteout Root my device and whiteout void the warranty?
I am asking because i want to keep the warranty and i am not the best at this TWRP flashes stuff.
Thanks.

Flashing unsigned software like TWRP or a custom ROM will good the warranty as far as I know.

Not possible as there is not and probably never will be an official Pie Version for the S7. I'm hearing a lot of talk about a One UI Rom recently, where can that be found?

Hello, there is no stock Pie for S7, it has to be custom Rom with TWRP

Not as far as I know.
Starting with the note 2, flashing non-Samsung files would change the Knox indicator to let Samsung know that the phone had been flashed with unsigned files.

rooting, will I lose OTA Updates?

Hi Guys, just a quick question... if I root my Stock Marshmallow rom, will I lose OTA updates from Samsung even though the rom is still Stock?
Thanks guys.
Yes, knox will be tripped and no more updates, you'll have to flash the newer firmware manually.

Keep in mind, that if you determine that rooting / installing custom roms is a good option for you many custom roms offer OTA abilities. It's not as straight forward as stock OTA's however if you've determined root / custom roms are for you, you probably have decided simplicity and comfort come after the beneifits of customization & modification.

Please Help

Flashing TWRP and custom ROM, there's not an official .zip signed by Samsung that won't trip Knox.
So be patient and wait for official release, or break Knox, wareanty, Samsung Pay and Secure folder in half.

TWRP and warranty

Hi
I have a insurance policy on my phone with "protect my bubble". I want to flash the Oreo ROM that is out for the s7 edge but it requires TWRP do it.
I want to flash TWRP to my phone via Odin and avoid rooting the device. Will doing this void my warranty.
Of course, because it will trip your Knox flag.
