S6 Edge Live Demo Unit [G925X] Nougat and Custom ROMs - Galaxy S6 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hello
I have a nice Galaxy S6 Edge Live Demo Unit G925X
And i have a really important question.
Is able to install nougat and more custom roms with lollipop bootloader?
Or maybe anyone have nougat bootloader for this device?
Thanks for any reply.

There is no way to use a nougat ROM on a demo unit.

Can I flash a custom rom from at&t or other compagny on a canadian s6 (g920w)

Topic says it all!! If yes from wich one?
Anyone?
I assume you are talking about SM-G920W8?
If so, then that depends if you are on android 5.1.1 or 6.0.1. for 5.1.1 there are several options, here for example.
If you are running 6.0.1 i'm not sure, but i don't think there's anything out for you yet.
If the rom supports W8, it's written in the ROM, so to answer your question: No, if a custom rom states it supports only SM-G920F and SM-G920I for example, you can't flash that on your device.

Probably you can only downgrade to MM, in any case you can try downgrading to KK and see if it's possible, if not then have MM stock ready...

Soft brick, you'll need to reflash stock MM.
Just do some more homework in the S5 thread before you're doing anything. Don't take my words as guaranteed!

The problem is not the firmware, lollipop firmware requires lollipop bootloader, if you are on newer mm bootloader you cannot downgrade bootloader to lollipop

thats not true. i had Marshmallow update since April and i downgrade to Lollipop firmware very easily. the old Marshmallow April firmware you can downgrade to Lollipop firmware.
it looks like Samsung changed the new October firmware so you can't downgrade no more..

Do the MM update by downloading from Sammobile.
Don't screw around with OTA updates. . . . too much chance of an error.

It seems your phone is a little different due to the bootloader.
I did find this though:

Do a little research on the web and on this board.
You'll probably find some good answers.
