Hello,
i have a SM-G930F with Android 8.0, i did CF-Auto-Root as i wanted to stay as close to stock Samsung firmware. After that i have noticed the phone to be a bit slower but nothing extreme. My main problem is with the Oculus app, when i put it on the Samsung Gear VR, it is lagging on the videos and when i run the Samsung VR app via Oculus it does the same thing (plays sound and not video, image is stuck while video is playing, slow video seeking, response time in general is having latency) It was working fine before the root. Has anyone else noticed the same behavior? Any suggestions?
Thank you in advance
I flashed Superman ROM and it got fixed.
Can you delete this thread? i dont seem to find the option somewhere

Hello everyone,
I'm on a new Lenovo K3 Note and I'm having a little problem with my camera. I'm running Androium 5.1 but the exact same thing was happening with every other ROM I've tried, including the one from Lenovo. Sometimes when I open an app which uses the camera, from google camera to messenger, the camera freezes- it is still working but updating very slowly like 3fps and no its not related to ambient light.
After monitoring the running processes for some days, I noticed a process called 'logd' running while I was using my device's camera. Sometimes this process becomes the most resource-intensive process in the system and that's where the camera/video playback becomes extremely laggy. I did not notice this in safe mode but I cant possibly be 100% sure since it is quite random, or at least it look random to me for now. Could this be an app causing the problem? Any help finding the one responsible?
One more thing I've noticed, but this could be my imagination, its that the more I use the camera the less frequent the problem becomes. But again, dont take my word for it.

Any advice ? Thanks!
PS: I did try the Lenovo K3 Note subforum but noone could help me there, figured I might as well try to post here
Last night I was watching a movie on Netlix on my Galaxy S8 Plus and suddenly the movie pauses and I can't use my phone whatsoever. The power button to restart the device wasn't even working nor the home button screen. The only thing that I could do was let the battery die and recharge it. It seems to be working just fine now, but don't want this problem in the future.
Has anyone had a similar problem and has a solution? Could it be the Netflix app itself locking my phone? Any responses would be helpful. Thanks.
If you're rooted Netflix no longer works.
Heya everyone!
I am having an issue with my S6 that involves video playback.
The 2 scenario's I am experiencing this issue in are:
- youtube app: it will play audio, but video gives a black screen
- whatsapp: will open a video, but it doesn't play (as if it was just a picture). also doesn't open gif files at all.
yet youtube works fine in the browser, and i can watch my whatsapp gifs and video's from the gallery as normal too. (but it is still a BIG problem!!!!)
Sometimes when I restart my phone, it will start working. and other times it will just randomly start working again too.
But after a while, it will just break again and goes back to the problems described above.
I am experiencing this on different versions of the Stock Nougat firmware, even after full data wipes (including wiping the internal storage).
So I am totally clueless, but I find it hard to believe this is a hardware issue, since it does work sometimes, and then it doesn't work other times.
Any help, advice or insight in this issue is appreciated
youtube app freezes randomly while playing videos. it starts playing again after 10 seconds or so.
i 've also noticed that if i pull up the keyboard in another app (while youtube video is frozen), the keypress sound doesn't work.
it seems like the audio component of android craps out at random times which causes the freezing issues.
happens rarely but it's annoying nonetheless. and it only happens in youtube. never had any audio/video issues with mxplayer.
is it just my phone, or is this also happening to other folks with the z5?
running official firmware 7.1.1. I was using NOBA firmware (7.1.1) before, but i have since switched to Canadian firmware(7.1.1). So far so good, but I'm sure this problem will come back soon enough. I've also tried 7.0 Global firmware and youtube crapped out on that too.
No unlocked bootloaders/roots or anything like that. Running pure stock mode.
Full wipe and flash last rom.
So I'm owner of unrooted Galaxy S7 (SM-G930F, Android 8.0.0) and I've came up against an issue. I was just looking at YouTube video preview a day ago and everything was ok, but yesterday in evening I've noticed that preview (muted playback in feed/autoplay) actually has a little frame lag/freeze/stutter at the very beginning of the video (like on 0.5 seconds and it applies to every video). Then I've noticed that preview isn't wrong, it's actually video itself but on my other devices (iPad mini 3 and PC) everything goes smooth from the beginning. So conclusion is that something went wrong on my device or with YouTube app itself (I've tried rolling back and experienced same issue). I've tried clearing cache, reinstalling app, rolling back to older version (from 14.49.51 to 13.46.53) and nothing helped. I'll be quite happy if someone will share solution with me.
