Look, i had this issue too i already said what to do.
1. Enable OEM unlock and USB debugging in developer settings
2. flash twrp (but don't boot into it)
3. boot up your phone to system
4. then boot to twrp and where it asks you to like enable system r/w or no select no
5. wipe data
6. from your laptop/pc move magisk.zip to phone
7. flash magisk
8. done

ATT One X TWRP question

Not completely sure how to explain it.
1. Unlocked Bootloader
2. Flashed or booted TWRP
3. Confused as can be.
At this time I had no clue that there was a simpler system by hasoon.
I just want to get back to stock or whatever so I can just root my phone. I do not want to install custom ROMs, just root.
Can someone link me to a guide to get off TWRP or something?
you still need to do everything you've done. if you don't want to flash a custom rom and just have root then flash this in twrp and then wipe cache and dalvik. UPDATE-SuperSU-v1.25.zip
TWRP is just the recovery and you sorta need it. you don't have to flash a custom rom if you dont want to.

You shouldn't be scared of custom roms...you're scared because you dont know what's going on...but for just having root download what he linked you to your phone.. boot into twrp click into twrp and press install and find the zip and click on it

you copy it to your sdcard. also since you have twrp installed NEVER do a factory reset from the bootloader only do it in twrp.

have you tried reboot system? while you are in twrp you could mount usb storage then copy supersu to your sdcard and flash it.
only time i ever got stuck in twrp was when i accidentally flashed twrp to boot instead of recovery in which case it will always enter recovery. did you run "fastboot flash boot <twrp>.img" on accident? the proper command is "fastboot flash recovery <twrp>.img". when you flash recovery always good to run "fastboot erase cache".
I went to reboot. System. It started my phone and just went right back to the TWRP screen.
reflash twrp and boot.img to the proper places just incase
Can you give me a link and or a small guide to doing that? I'm kinda clueless when it comes to doing this kinda stuff.

I didnt get anything from the post. you have to be little bit specific.
i mean you
1. unlocked bootloader(fine)
2. installed twrp(also fine)
3. installed cm13(great)
4. you reverted back to stock rom??? How from twrp, flashfire or fastboot.?
and now how are you trying to install twrp? from fastboot?
Flash twrp image with fastboot, start TWRP, reboot recovery within TWRP, then twrp sticks... profit.

TWRP is not sticking...
1) Start the bootloader, flash TWRP in fastboot with the command: fastboot flash recovery twrp.img (Replace twrp.img with the name of the TWRP img file)
2) Press VOL DN to start Recovery and select it, TWRP should start... When prompted if you should allow changes to system, say YES or allow or whatever so that is allowed to mount system as read-write.
3) In the TWRP main menu, select Reboot, then Reboot - Recovery
4) The device will restart and TWRP will start again, if asked to allow changed changes to system again, allow it
5) Go to Mounts and make sure Mount System Read-Only is NOT ticked
6) Press Home, then Reboot and Reboot Recovery again
TWRP will start again and be set, it will not go away unless you flash something with a recovery.img in the file (custom ROMs do not normally contain this file).

At what point? What command are you using to perform the flash?
I'm sorry... I've just done this on numerous G3's and what you are describing doesn't just happen for no reason... either the initial flash was done incorrectly, the process to set it was not followed, or there is actually a defect in the device (which is unlikely if TWRP boots even once after bring flashed).

NEVER USE KINGROOT OR KINGOROOT on a Moto G3 with Marshmallow, it will soft brick... We have seen at least a half dozen specific examples by experienced users... Somehow you got lucky, but I would never recommend this method to a user.
Now, once rooted Flashify is a viable option.

I am about to unlock bootloader for the first time. Check my steps please

I will unlock bootloader now on RN5 Global version. After unlocking it I will do the following ( Please tell me if something is wrong )
1 - Install the TWRP Recovery. I will use orangefox recovery, then I will install a custom rom
Are these steps correct?
Or Should I flash official twrp not orangefox?
I mean twrp-3.2.3-1 Or Redwolf TWRP?

orange fox, red fox..they are TWRP but they have other options.. example root with superSU or magisk.. enable camera2api..change UIX color splash ect.. and they have a diffenrent look..
not sure about encyption. i think orange and red take care of encryption i think.. from stock miui rom. i always install orangefox do the wipes and flash rom.
you need to boot into twrp after unlock bootloader then once in twrp flash orangefox thats it.

official must be used as twrp.img to boot into twrp from command propt from ARB4. no just boot into twrp then flash orangefox or red so it permanently installs twrp.

Need help, new phone stuck in fastboot

Hello,
what I did, I followed the steps here https://oneplus.gadgethacks.com/how-to/install-twrp-recovery-your-oneplus-7-pro-0199340/ I unlocked the bootloader, then installed twrp. The problem here was that drive could not be mounted so internal storage was zero. I had to connect a usb stick to the phone in order to get twrp installed. Then I followed instructions from the same site to install magisk. I got some error messages while installing and at the end the phone was supposed to boot to android but it didnt. Now the only thing that happens is that the phone boots to fastboot. I have tried
Code:
fastboot boot twrp.img
but I get errors again
HTML:
downloading 'boot.img'...
OKAY [ 0.686s]
booting...
FAILED (remote: Failed to load/authenticate boot image: Load Error)
finished. total time: 0.723s
Any ideas on how I should proceed ?

unfortunately I cant go to step 2... This is the third time I try. I cannot flash twrp and magisk
inside twrp, the SDCARD was empty, there was no folder downloads so I had to connect a usb stick. I installed twrp and I got some erros about partitions. Then I installed magisk, errors again. And now it boots to twrp
What am I doing wrong? I follow all the steps as described in the tutorials... Any help would be greatly appreciated.
When I try to WIPE from inside twrp i get more error messages
updating partition details
failed to mount /system_root - invalid argument
failed to mount /vendor - invalid argument
failed to mount storage
failed to mount /data - invalid argument
etc
unable to mount storage

The bootloop is happending by the kernel. It is because this device uses dm-verfiy. so that means when swiping to allow system modifications you wount be able to boot to system if you are using the stock kernel.

If you are useing the method of flashing the vbmeta then twrp, yes. If you pre roted your phone and then installed twrp there is no need for a custom kernel.
